After school...

"Bye guys!"

"Bye Jin! Have a good weekend." Mike and the others said.

At the school entrance, Emily and Jin are waiting for Mia.

"Where is she, did something happen?"

"Don't worry Jin I am sure she is okay. Oh, there she is."

"Hi, guys."

"Hi Mia," said Jin, "Follow me, we will go meet my teacher."

After a while, they arrived at the factory.

"This is where you train?"

"Not exactly, it's a little further inside."

We are here, stand still.

Jin pressed the button and the ground began to shake.

"What is going on?"

"Don't worry, the place where I train is underground."

They finally reached the underground base.

"Wow, this place is huge!" exclaimed Mia.

"It's cool; isn't it?" asked Jin.

"Oh, Jin I see you brought company. Is she the girl you talked about on the phone?" asked Reizo.

"Yeah."

"So, you are Jin's future wife?"

"Yeah. My name is Mia."

"Jin, you are lucky."

"Cut it out Reizo."

"Welcome to our base. So Jin, you said there was an emergency when you called me," said Reizo.

"Yes. Mia told me that Sano is sending the 4 Elements to eliminate me."

"The 4 Elements huh. I have heard of them they are one of the strongest forces in his army. In your current state, you don't stand a chance against them."

"So, what are we supposed to do?" asked Jin.

"Remember when you asked me how you were going to beat Sano when he has been training for years?"

"Yes."

"I told you that I had a plan, right?"

"Yes..."

"It's time to let you know about my plan. There is a place where those who wanted to master Seishin fast went to train. That place is called Nogard."

"Yeah, but we only have 2 and a half days. I don't think 2 and a half days will be enough time to train even in this place you speak of."

"Jin that's very dangerous. Are you sure you can survive for 1 year in there?" Asked Emily.

Jin seemed troubled by Emily's question.

"Reizo, does Sano know about this place?" asked Jin.

"Yes, but he cannot access it, there is a spell that opens the gate and he does not have it. I am the only one that has this spell."

"How did you get it?"

"That's a story for another day."

"You are right the only thing that matters now is getting stronger."

"I assume you will go then."

"Yes, I don't have a choice. I will die anyway if I don't go."

"I am coming with you," said Mia.

"No, Mia, it's very dangerous," said Jin.

"You think I will sit back and watch my future husband risk his life? I am not as weak as you think."

"I don't think you are weak, but this is extremely dangerous, and I don't want you getting hurt."

"Well, it's my decision and I want to go."

Jin thought, What a stubborn girl.

"If you think you can handle it who am I to stop you. Ok, Reizo, open the gate. Oh, one more thing. What about food?"

"Do not worry once you enter the gate you will be teleported into a house, I have prepared one-year worth of food there."

"But we are two."

"Well, my original plan was that you and I go in there together, but Mia is a better choice because this is your fight, not mine."

"Ok, Reizo you can begin."

"Stand back, kids."

Reizo is standing with his hands folded, his eyes are closed.

"I call upon the power of the heavens, open the door to the light. Devour the shadows that engulf this land. Open the gates to the place that my new power lies, the power to save, this corrupt by shadows world. Open the gates to Nogard!"

The moment he finishes the incantation the gate opens.

"This is the gate," said Reizo."

"All I see is a white light," said Jin.

"Once you go in you will be teleported to the house. Take this before you go."

Reizo gives Jin a piece of paper.

"What is this?"

"I wrote the spell you have to use to be able to open the gates from the inside when a year pass."

"Mia let's go. Oh, before we go, Emily what will you tell mom about the two days that I will be gone?"

"Don't worry I will think of something. Good luck in there guys."

"See you guys in a year then."

Jin and Mia passed the gate at exactly 4:00 pm on Friday. The 4 Elements attack will begin on Monday.

Jin and Mia are now in Nogard.

"Wow this house is huge," said Jin.

"Let's go outside Jin."

Mia opened the door.

"We are in the middle of the desert. It feels like 40 degrees out here. Also, I can't breathe very well outside, there isn't much oxygen," said Mia.

"Reizo said it will be dangerous. Let's start to train then, we don't have time to lose."

And so Jin and Mia began their training. They both know that they must get a lot stronger to face this threat.
