《Slayer of Kings》Chapter 2 - Village In The Forest

The grip on his dagger was harder than normal. The fat man charged towards the origin of his anger with a dagger in his hand. He believed the kid was so scared to even move or run away. He knew it would be an easy kill, but when it looked like his dagger was about to reach its target it moved away.
The fat man now had his side exposed to Leo, who caught the fat man's right hand, which held the dagger. Leo then turned the man's hand so that it now faced the fat man's face. After that Leo pushed the dagger into the fat man's right eye-splitting it from the middle. This made the dagger sink deep into the man's brain. The man's scream sounded like a roar from filled with anger. After, pulling out the bloody knife Leo pushed the dagger once again into the man's eye but this time to his left. The same thing happened once again with his left eye-splitting into two as the dagger made its way through his left brain.
Leo did not stop here. He pushed the dagger, five more times in the man's face, but the man had already passed away on the third strike. The dagger struck his nose, forehead, cheek, mouth and between both his eyes. After this frenzy, the man's entire face was bloody beyond recognition.
The tall man looked at this scene in shock. He could not fathom how a teenage boy could kill someone with such cruelty. His voice rose as he shouted, "AHH, BITCH I WILL KILL YOU!"
The tall man rushed towards Leo, but with no weapon. When the tall man neared him Leo pushed the dead man's body onto the tall man. This made the tall man lose his balance and fall face first to the ground. Since the distance between them was small Leo could make sure that both their bodies struck each other.

An uneasy feeling rose from the tall man's heart, but before he could do anything a dagger pierced through his vocal cord and broke his spinal cord. The blade came out from the front of his throat. The man tried to scream, but no sound came out. Leo turned the dagger so that the edge was now facing the right side of the man's throat. Leo then pulled the dagger out which made the dagger cut through all the muscles and veins on the right part of the man's neck. Then, Leo brought the knife back using the momentum from the pull and sliced off the remaining part that clung to the man's body. The man's head and body were now separate.
Leo ruined both the bodies.
The ground covered with waste was hot when walking over it, but he had a slipper on. He needed to remove the bloodstains from his dress as he could not go to a village or town covered with bloodstains on his dress.
---
With no sense of direction in an unknown forest the journey tough. He guessed if he kept traveling he would run into civilization.
The lonely sun made the temperature go up, but the trees in the forest kept it colder than the outside. Green grass covered the forest floor with some looking taller than the others. The shorter ones showed signs of animals having eaten them, at least they looked like that from how he remembered in his old world.
The dark green leaves of the trees fluttered in the wind. A river came to his sight, he approached it.
The water from the river reflected the almost empty sky looking calm like the sun. He took off his top cloth and dropped it into the river to wash it as blood stains covered it. He rubbed the stained part of the cloth in the water. After that he took it out and twisted it, then he shook it to remove any remaining dirt or water. He followed the river as the chances of finding a village or town was greater if he followed it.

Not understanding time he could not verify how long he had walked for but soon a village came into his eyes.
It had walls made of wood that looked like bamboo. The buildings were all small with the tallest being two floors. There were people near the gate of the village. He looked at his belongings, everything except the dress was from the two men he had killed before. The dagger was from the fat man. While 5 round and silver objects with 100 written on them which he assumed to be the currency of this world belonged to the tall man.
Nearing the village many shops and houses which were not visible before came into sight. These buildings looked different compared to his old world. The goal right now was to get a better understanding of the situation this new world, but before he could his stomach growled.
It struck his mind that this would be a problem he did not know what type of food this world had. He did not know if he has enough money to get food. Leo decided that asking for the price before he eats would be a good choice.
After 5 minutes of searching around the village, a shop finally came into sight. The shop had a wooden build with a sheet made of a material that looked like steel as a roof. The shop upon inspection had a few people in it, he decided he would go there and see what he would get with the money he had.
