Where is it? He failed. Leo checked everywhere, but could not find the symbol he saw before his death. The symbol and the two rectangular bars.

Will Cao know anything about it? That was a possibility. Leo was sure if Cao, wanted he would kill him, but Cao did not. Which means Cao has to know something about the two things, but he could not go and search for Cao. If they met, he would die.

Leo checked his Crystal also, but it failed to do anything. When that symbol and the rectangular bars appeared he felt nothing. If he had not seen them, then he would not even know they existed.

Leo looked at Tenebris. He had been training for two hours. It was noon. He had to go back to the village to have his food.

Emilia was in her bed at the hospital. She had a light blue blanket up to her chest. The pillows were resting on the steel grills of the bed. This was done because she did not want to lie down.

Beside her sat Mia. "Have you found any other squads?" Emilia asked.

"None. I still need to go out and find them, but I have to hurry. Who knows what they will do to the people who were kidnapped."

Emilia's looked down spoke in a low voice. "Xander."

Mia placed her hand on top of Emilia's above the blanket. "He will be all right. We will get him back soon."

Yes. She had to. She hoped nothing bad would happen to him.

Mia got up from her wooden chair. "I need to find Leo. You stay here and rest. Got it?"

Emilia did not reply. Mia moved closer to Emilia. "Leave it to me."

Mia walked out of the hospital.

As Leo walked, he felt as if someone was staring at him. He did not look around because that would mean the one who is staring at him would find out he knew they are hiding.

Leo kept walking but slowed his pace. He tried to look everywhere without causing doubt, but he could not turn back.

Nose of leaves crunching came into his ears. Till now he was searching for the source but could find nothing. He had to catch them by surprise. He would strike first.

Leo turned to the direction of the sound and opened his palm. He then uses his Pure Element Attack. Water rushed out from his palms. The force of the water coming out when using his Pure Element Attack have increased by a lot when compared to the first time he used it.

Water rushed out of his hands at high speed to the place where the crunching noises originated, but before it reached the place, a big boulder came towards the attack.

The water and boulder collided with each other. The boulder did not break. It pushed Leo's Pure Element Attack backward. Leo increased the force. He had to go beyond his maximum power.

Frenzy.

His magic power increased. Now, the boulder and Leo's Pure Element Attack were in a stalemate.

Leo stopped his attack. The boulder rushed towards him, but Leo moved to the right side. The boulder missed him. The boulder flew and crashed into a tree.

Finally, a figure appeared from the bushed. It was a beast.

It had a body made rocks. It had spikes of sharp rock on its top. Its claws were sharp and big. It had green eyes and a stone tail that kept moving.

The beast charged at Leo.

Tenebris.

The dragon tattoo appeared on his arm. It then flew out and turned into Tenebris. Leo held Tenebris in his right hand.

The blades of Tenebris were unlike other swords. Right now it could not be compared to how it was when at its peak, but that did not mean the blade was weak.

Leo pointed Tenebris to the beast. Leo summoned his clone. Leo threw the dagger to the clone. It could not keep weapons with it.

The beast saw the dagger being thrown. It changed its target from Leo to the dagger.

This was Leo's plan, and the beast fell for it.

Frenzy was active. Leo commanded the clone to move towards the beast. The Crystal could control the clone, but Leo wanted to control it now.

Both Leo and the clone moved towards the beast.

If only I had an attack spell. He could have used that on the beast. He could use him Pure Element Attack, but like before even with Frenzy active it could do nothing to the beast.

Leo thrust Tenebris to the beast. His target was its back.

The beast noticed Leo and the clone. It changed its target once again.

The beast came close to Leo. So Leo moved back. He then jumped to the left.

Leo used his Pure Element Attack. It could not do any damage to the beast, but it could be used to distract it.

And like Leo thought. The beast took the water head-on, but it stopped in its track.

This was his opportunity.

The clone had picked up the dagger which Leo threw. It moved closer to the beast.

Leo struck the beast's head. Tenebris smashed threw it rock skin. The beast roared.

It shook its head, trying to make Tenebris leave its body, but it failed.

The clone now controlled by the Crystal was about to strike the beast when Leo stopped it. He had to because the rocky skin of the beast was hard and if the clone used the dagger it would break.

Leo removed Tenebris. The beast charged towards him. The distance between them was small. Leo now knew how hard the beast's skin was. If his body got hit by it then he could break his bones.

He had to use Tenebris.

Leo struck the beast using Tenebris once again. The beast could not move properly. That was why Leo could land another strike.

This time the strike was to its left even. No blood came out of it. Leo then pushed the beast using his leg. The beast did not feel heavy. It lost most of its energy because of the strike.

Leo fell back to the ground. The beast lay in front of him. The clone returned to him.

He barely won this fight.
