Pant! Pant!
'Dammit!'
Pant! Pant!
'This was not how it was supposed to end!!'
I dodged sideways and rolled on the ground narrowly dodging the tail swipe of another Draconian Soldier. I threw my hand out while concentrating, summoning my dagger back before throwing it through the face of another nameless mob.
'Shit!'
I looked around at the deteriorating situation, even in mortal crisis I could see the distance between the factions, the Greeks and the Romans despised working together, most of my faction thought themselves above the other pantheons, the Norse always were the most arrogant. The Hindu's were alienated because of the conflicting domains and fear of their mysterious powers.
'if only we could work together for one more floor, we can fight among each other after that! At this rate, Humanity will just be turned into slaves of another higher civilization...'
Gods! The Capital 'G' God had always been thought of as a myth, a way to control the masses, influence their actions, but the struggle for power during the past year had erased such notions. Maybe all of this was just a terrible nightmare but everything changed because of the advent of the system.
Doomsday, Apocolypse, Ragnarök... Many terms were coined about the sudden destruction of everyday life. Integration was the term given to the phenomenon by the different species found in the tutorial. The game-like existence that we now live in looks like a mockery compared to the carnage that followed.
[Lv- 97 Draconian Soldier]
White words floated above the head of a lizard type humanoid monster as it tried to punch me, following my instincts my right leg went back and I tilted my body sideways, standing almost parallel to the flowing form of the monster, the dagger that was thrown was already back in my hands and a precise swipe followed with a headless corpse slamming behind me.

Pant! Pant!
'dammit, I can't keep this up!!'
My glowing left eye dimmed as another wave of exertion assaulted me, a pale blue light shining as I decreased the amount of mana flowing into it, the world dimmed slightly, I couldn't see as far as I was able to before but it was still manageable as the immediate threats near me were all within its range.
What followed after the initiation was carnage and the beginning of hubris, Strong characters emerged gaining the blessings of the gods of each Pathneons trying to reach the peak of power that we could during the tutorial.
All for it to end here...
Even after deactivating the eye of Huginn, I could see the massive dragon looking lazily at the humans fighting its army, lazily breathing massive fireballs targeting all the top characters of humanity. I continued fighting for another 20 minutes, trying to survive, trying to make a difference, shouting at my comrades to work with other factions so that we can continue...
The dragon closed its eyes seemingly disinterested in anyone left, I looked around and there were still around 700 of us left, the mobs were almost dealt with, most of us were planning to fight the dragon next preparing for the fight but I didn't. Because the outcome was clear, Mike was dead, so was Celice, and Adam, and Remi...
While we were busy grinding away at the mobs the Dragon had already taken care of all the top stars of Humanity.
Ugh!
Blood suddenly pored out from my mouth as I coughed, and my mana was quickly started draining towards my right eye.
'What! why now! what the fuck am I supposed to do with your power now!!'
The eye of Muninn, my right eye has always been dormant, never draining mana but it just allowed me to peer through all illusions and shrouding magics.

Ugh!
I looked at my stats, my mana was almost emptied out and then my HP started decreasing.

'Well better to die like this than dying at the hands of that monster...'
"Ryan talk to me, Ryan! What's happeni-" a distressed voice gained my attention, I looked at blurry features of the beautiful redhead, my eyesight deteriorating rapidly as she looked at me with a distorted expression before a look of shock appeared on her face, "- is it awakening?" Her face turned ugly as she readied her daggers looking around vigilantly, ready to pounce on anyone who wanted to take advantage of my weakened state.
"It's alri-", I could barely say before more blood flowed out of my mouth and I coughed to get it out of my windpipe, I felt her delicate hands supporting me, I turned around to say, "It's been a pleasure, may we meet again in Valhalla!"
"No don't-"
...
Silence
The sounds of raging battles around us, the blurred vision of 1000 feet monster dragon vanished suddenly and was replaced with peace and quiet.
Nothing existed, or rather my senses had failed me, I was stunned at my current situation when an innocent blue screen appeared in front of me?
The Eye of Muninn awakened stimulated by the upcoming tragedy and Muninn's blessing!

Ugh!
'What! I felt attracted to something in the void! Aren't I dead? wait this feels familiar!'
"Cough!" I spasmed before jolting awake, my thoughts flying at a very fast speed as I took in my surroundings, the room was an exact copy of my room back home.
'Do people in Valhalla get customised barracks?'
I was curious as I opened the window and looked out at the busy streets of London.
'umm? maybe it is a very personalised barrack?'

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Unstable (L x Reader)
This story is about you helping L with the Kira case but you have a very scary and dark past that you slowly share with your "comrades" along the way. And of course since this is a L x reader you end up falling for the lovable sleepless boy.I own none of the deathnote characters. Just (name) and her family and that's it.also trigger warning for some violence and gross menit does come but mostly at the end of the story....

Blood & Honey #1
~A Wattys and Fiction Award winner*A lion does not need an invitation from a lamb. That is not the way of the predator. Predators take what they want, when they want it, however they please. And this belief that I am, that evil is, enslaved by the dark night is humorous to say the least. Why would any creator make their pupil inept of withstanding the lighted world when this planet is covered in daylight for half of its life span? No, our Maker did not instill such restrictions for, up here on these earthly lands, we are the gods of prey. ~ Tristan There is only one rule vampires must follow--Bite Hard. It is forbidden for humans to know vampires exist so you can imagine Tristan Darkos's surprise when he finds one that knows what he is. He can tell by the tremble of her body, the thump-thump of her pulse, and her dilated pupils. He's going to have to finish what some other vampire started. The problem is when Tristan gets close to this human his blood turns to fire and the thirst that burns in his throat that should spell her doom twists until he's consumed by another need--one that is evocative, primitive, and...wrong.If Tristan doesn't figure out the mystery that is Kinley Shea Rylan, it is certain whatever dark force her honey blood is summoning forth will be the end of him and, possibly, the end of the world as we know it. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Author note: - This is an original work with my take on Vampires.
