《Fallen God decides to live a little》Chapter 14: Surprise

Magnus here, I remember once that I descended to Eldran for a very short amount of time. In that short amount of time, I disguised myself as an old man that travels the world. I did a lot of random things such as giving a whole continent sea sickness and those in the sea just plain sickness. Needless to say, there were a lot of accidents. Anyway back to the story.
In silence, I prepare a spell.
“Me… Leave?” the man looks at me quizzically then he guffaws.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” after laughing, the man stares at me and wipes away a tear from his eyes.
“That’s…. That’s amazing, and quite amusing. I hope that baseless threats aren’t your only way of entertaining me” The man slowly goes nearer towards me.
I prepare myself. This person is powerful but not as powerful as some of the people who is currently near the golden tree.
Yes, that’s what I’m calling it now, Golden Tree.
Near the Golden Tree are extremely powerful beings and this man in front of me is powerful as well but not anywhere near the top 10. After calculating the strength of the beings near the golden tree, I'm guessing he’s probably the 47th strongest person here. While that is good news, that doesn’t bode well for me. Every single person in that area has ability levels above 10,000.
This person has an ability level of 12,000. He currently has a body power of 40,000 and with that alone, he’s already 4,000 times physically stronger and faster than me.
And… his magic power is 200,000, twice as big as my temporary power. Yup it’s not a big deal.
I immediately cast [Equilibrium] and my body fills with massive power as my mana suddenly depletes.
[Equilibrium] is an elementary death spell. It immediately halves the user's magic power and transforms it into body power giving me a temporary boost. While [Equilibrium] looks powerful, this spell is very dangerous as the sudden change can kill the caster, especially ones with massive magic powers but with my understanding of magic, I easily guide the magic power to safely empower my body.
Magic Power: 38,500/???
Body Power: 38,500
Shit... Despite the spell, I'm still weaker. I'm kind of regretting being liberal with my mana usage.
The dead-eyed man raises his eyebrows, surprised by the sudden change in my body. Smiling, he suddenly disappears and appears in front of me. Not sensing any mana, he must have physically moved with just his speed.
“Interesting… to be capable of using [Equilibrium] without any repercussions, tell me how did you manage that?”

If it weren’t for the immediate danger looming over me, I think I would want to know more about this person. I respond by throwing a super-sonic punch at his face, and even though the gap between our magic power is huge, right now my body power is comparable to him, so I punch his face without much resistance.
He reacts just as quick and catches my fist as the two of us suddenly clash. We grip each other's hands as we start pushing each other with our superhuman strength. Immediately the ground starts to cave as our almost equal superhuman strength tears the surrounding area apart.
This won't stop if I just contest with him. After pushing with all my strength, I immediately loosen my grip and trip dead-eye and kick his legs, tripping him.
[Hyper Force]
I immediately cast a spell and my hand envelops with powerful air elemental mana. Once done I punch him with all my strength and all the power of my spell. A powerful booming sound appears as my fist connecsts with the man's chest.
Boom!
"Urgh" The man groans in extreme pain as the combined might of my spell and strength sends him flying.
[Teleport]
Immediately, I follow up by teleporting above him and cast a master level fire spell.
[Flame Vacuum]
After the costly spell, I cast an elementary spell and summon small gouts of fire that spread on the forest below us.
[Ember]
First of all, I do not condone illegal logging, nor do I like burning up forests for no reason.
I see dead-eye falling back to the ground, this time a smile is plastered on his face. His chest is slightly caved in but I guess it didn't deal too much damage to him.
“Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha” I hear the indistinct laughter of a man having the time of his life.
Dead-eye, wait maybe I should start calling him by his name. Checking his status, I notice he doesn’t have a name… Dead-eye it is.
“YOU’RE INTERESTING!!” Dead-eye raises both his hands while falling. “HEY DON’T YOU DARE DIE ON ME RIGHT NOW”
[Moonsoon Destruction]! Dead-eye shouts as he casts a spell.
My eyes widen as I see him collect an absurd amount of wind mana. A gigantic ball made of extremely condensed wind energy appears in between his hands. Instead of throwing it, Dead-eye smiles and starts condensing the giant ball of wind even further.
I prepare a spell to protect myself from the attack. He doesn’t stop until it reaches the size of a pebble, a dangerously lethal pebble. A moment later, he’s creating more.

Within his right and left hand are equally large balls of condensed wind mana. Smiling, Dead-eye is condensing them like earlier.
I dash forward with super sonic speed.
"You think, I'd let you do something like power up!"
Dead-eye grimaces at my remark and starts laughing again.
Despite the obvious flaming mark on his chest, Dead-eye is enjoying himself.
The three condensed wind balls start spinning around his body at immense speeds.
[Teleport]
After I cast my spell, I immediately appear in front of Dead-eye and unsheathe my iron sword. I coat it with thick mana and then swing it towards his condensed wind balls.
It would do nothing to nick someone like him but it would be enough to activate those wind balls. Dead-eye reacts quick and forms a sharp blade made out of mana and catches my blade's advance. After blocking my attack, Dead-eye pushes his advantage and continues to attack me with his newly formed mana blade.
At first, I manage to block his attacks but my weakening mana pool is slowly getting thinned out and eventually the mana coating on my blade disappears. I dash besides him and throw a quick slash. Dead-eye easily catches the non-magical blade mid-air with two fingers and unceremoniously snaps it in half. I immediately let go of the handle and brace myself, as Dead-eye commands the three condensed balls of wind to charge towards me.
"Arghh!" I shout in pain as the small condensed balls of wind mana shoot through me like bullets.
[Mana Shield]
Immediately, I erect a thick mana shield to prevent more damage but the bullet-like balls continuously bounce and ricochet off my mana shield, slowly draining my already dwindling mana pool.
I back away from Dead-eye fast, as I try to find some breathing room but he easily follows me while the bullets continue to batter my mana shield.
[Mana Pulse]
I cross my hands and spread them out, casting a spell that releases a powerful energy pulse that buffets Dead-eye and the wind bullets away from me but not enough to hurt him. He’s laughing maniacally now.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, is this all you’ve got!!” Charging towards me, Dead-eye commands his balls to attack me again.
[Iron Wall]
While backing up, I quickly cast a spell and a giant rectangular wall made out of pure iron sprouts out from the ground to block his way.
“HAHAHAHA, that won’t do anything to stop me” The wall suddenly explodes as Dead-eye commands the wind ball to detonate on contact. The condensed wind balls explode with massive power violently throwing me back, crashing over dozens of forest trees.
Standing up in pain, I chuckle and when I realize it's ready, I cast the spell I prepared before the fight commenced.
[Super Mana Stream]
Dead-eye’s face grimaces with surprise as he sees what I’m holding with both my hands.
Between my two hands is a crackling ball of pure unrestrained raw mana.
"You should've left." I say with grim resolve, then I release the spell.
Suddenly a gigantic wave of pure raw energy surges from the condensed ball in my hand and it blasts towards Dead-eye.
The wind balls that didn't detonate are immediately engulfed and destroyed by the large wave of pure mana. I feel the ripples of space as Dead-eye is preparing to teleport.
[Space Anchor]
I cast a spell that locks him place, immediately canceling his teleportation.
[Flame Vacuum: Activate]
I activate the spell seal on his chest. Immediately all the flames I caused in the forest suddenly flies up, being absorbed by the seal. Obscene amounts of fire surrounds Dead-eye, as the powerful beam of pure mana and constantly absorbing fire completely devour him and cut of his exits.
[Diamond Wall]!
Dead-eye immediately braces himself and casts a spell, summoning 5 gargantuan diamond walls.
The giant beam of mana crashes with the first wall instantly reducing it to ash, the second wall slowed it down for only a second. The 3rd, 4th and 5th wall got destroyed but each wall took more time than the last until it finally hits Dead-eye.
Dead-eye manages to take the remainder of power inside the blast and survive but that was what I planned for. Using the last of my mana, I cast one last spell.
[Hell Pillar]!
The moment the beam dissipates, two giant pillars of extremely hot hellfire blast out from the ground and appear on both of Dead-eye's right and left side.
The scalding heat cuts off his behind as he tries to charge forward. The seal in front of him overloads with the condensed heat and fire coming from the forest. With the Hellfire blasting besides him, the process overloads even faster.
“Hey!” I shout at while panting.
Dead-eye looks back at me “You should've left!”
Smiling, I give Dead-eye one last remark before I teleport away from him.
[Space Anchor]
But before I could teleport, I feel magic weigh me down.
“You shouldn’t be too cocky”
My eyes widen as all the fire in the area converge on the seal in front of Dead-eye. It starts to show signs of cracking.
*Crack*
No... I don't have enough mana....
*BOOM!!*
