《A noble blood sacrifice》Facing my mother’s wrath? I choose death (A retrospective)

I couldn't stand my sisters. But my parents forced me to like them. I'd probably get a beating if I didn't. Spectraman had a forlorn look on his face. His hands and arms were extended toward me. He was almost leaping off the book table. My hands warmed as my fingers wrapped around his plastic waist. One of his arms swung at me because my palm was squeezing the mechanism located on his back. A wave of relief washed over me as i made a silent prayer for the both of us.
"Don't worry Spectraman. Were gona get through this. My bum is going to hurt for the next couple of days. But it was worth it to save you. We have to go now but be quite. My dad must not hear us." Father was not in hearing range of anything happening in the house. It was but the urgency of the situation that made it feel like he was.
I tippy toed out the room. But now I was back to my original problem. The beating I was walking myself into. I wasn't ready yet. I was still high off the happiness I was feeling from recovering my best friend. I wanted to enjoy the moment a little longer. So I snuck further away to the main bedroom. The door was open which made it easier to keep my location a mystery.
The gigantic bed sat right next to the front window. I slithered onto the bed and put my hand to the curtain. 'What if he's watching me?' I thought. 'Or looking this way by chance.' My heart beat increased the longer I thought about it. My hand was shaking. I don't know if it was in anticipation or fear. It may have been both.

My hand moved the curtain an inch before stopping itself. Then my mind moved my hand further. Until there was a slit in the window. Enough for an eye to peer through. But my eye was hesitant as well. I needed the assistance of my neck to manoeuvre my head who was at that moment too heavy to move independently. It was a joint coalition but my eye was finally in place.

Lorian Ellins [Dropped]
Lorian found himself in the medieval European style world, thinking he went back in time. However, upon inquiring, he realized history, customs and as such were different. This was a whole new world he knew nothing about. A place where powerful were respected and feared, a place where monsters and different races existed. After a lucky encounter, Lorian manages to secure a job, home and survival. However, the world is large and ready to be explored. Lorian won't be lost in mediocrity. This is his destiny. Nonetheless, everyone starts at a low point in life. Fast growth and OPness seemed impossible even with the help of the system. , Life is neither a game nor a bunch of numbers. It's far more complex and unpredictable. We don't know where we stand in the future, or is there even future prepared for us? I always thought that overused motto in wuxia novels, '' I want to control my destiny '' was cliche and we had less control over our lives as they are dictated by many other factors. This world taught me otherwise, thus this place shall be my new beginning. '' PS: The cover is not mine. It was randomly found on the internet. Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Just a Game
“A great corruption is spreading. The people cry out for a savior. For a hero. For YOU! Come join the fight, as the chosen of World Tree! Receive the blessings of the gods, battle fierce monsters, and become the hero you were meant to be, in Arcanum Online!” It was the cheesiest commercial Ethan had ever heard, but the gameplay was enough to draw him - and thousands of others - to the fantasy world of Lazuros. It’s the sort of place that can really draw you in - a huge open world, a deep character customization system, and a feature that makes time pass slower inside the game, extending your limited playtime! It was a little strange, though. As if it was a bit too realistic for a game of swords and sorcery. The NPC’s seemed almost alive, most quests didn’t reset and monsters respawned slowly. Still, for all it’s quirks, it was a good game! Just a game. And nothing more. …right?
