《TITANIA: Goddess of War》Laufey and banishment

The clouds ripped and the Bifrost landed on Jotunheim, leaving Thor, Loki, Sif and the Warriors Three on his cold surface. All around them was just wasteland, full of ice and snow. They couldn't believe how someone can live on a planet like that.
"We shouldn't be here!" said Hogun, reading minds of the rest, unfortunately not of Thor.
"Too late now." Thor's cocky voice said.
"Actually, it's not. We could turn right around, hop back to Asgard, share a mug by the fire. Could be nice. I think Neilrosa was right." Fandral said sort of for himself but still received a not so nice glare from Thor.
"Perhaps we should wait," Loki said as Thor decided to head off.
"For what?" he turned to him.
"To survey the enemy. To gauge their strengths and weaknesses from a distance." reasoned Loki.
"I'm liking that. Gauging, surveying. Particularly the distance part." Volstagg quickly agreed with Loki, shaking a bit of unknown fear.
"We know all we must. It's time to act." Thor was all eager to fight. He went forward, others followed him carefully.
They were going forward, keeping eye on their surrounding and shielding themselves from all the cold wind. Thor was like a little boy, couldn't wait.
"It feels good, doesn't it? To be together again, adventuring on another world?" he turned to his comrades, all smiling.
"Adventuring? is that what we're doing?" Fandral asked, not convinced completely.
"What would you call it?" Thor asked them.
"Freezing." Fandral started.
"Starving." Volstagg continued.
"Whining." Sif ended it.
"How about a song to lift our spirits?" Thor tried to change the atmosphere but wasn't met with an agreement.
"No, not that!" Hogun groaned.
"Please don't make us sing again!" Sif gave Thor a look.
"If I have to listen to Volstagg's singing voice one more time, I'll fall on my own sword," stated Fandral.
"Where are they?" Sif looked around, making them focused on why they came here.
"Hiding. As cowards always do." Thor didn't know that shadowy figures were following them around as the continued to the central plaza. As they reached it, they sensed the Frost Giants all around them, surrounding them. They prepared themselves to use their weapons.
"What is your business here, Asgardian?" Jotun Sentry called to them.
"I speak only to your King. Not to his foot soldiers." Thor spitted.
"Then speak." a voice sounded from the balcony and made Asgardians turn their heads.
"I'm Laufey, King of this Realm."
"And I'm-" Thor started, but was interrupted by Laufey.
"We know who you are, Odinson. Why have you brought the stench of your blood into my world?" Laufey spitted on him.
"I demand answers." Lafeu stood up, towering over Thor.
"You demand?" he asked amused
"How did your people get into Asgard?" Thor was getting furious, Laufey was only making fun of him and that hurt his ego.
"The house of Odin is full of traitors." The Warriors Three and Sif of them shared a puzzled look. They didn't like Laufey's words, not even a bit.

"Do not dishonour my father's name with your lies." words full of venom were spitting out of Thor's mouth, he didn't like Laufey's words either.
"Your father is a murderer and a thief. He stole what was ours, and left our world in ruins. We have the right to reclaim the Casket."
"Not when you'd use it to make war against other Realms." Laufey's laugh was cold and mocking.
"And why have you come here? To make peace? You long for battle. You crave it. I see you for what you are, Thor Odinson. Nothing but a boy. trying to prove himself a man." The Frost Giants laughed.
"This boy has grown tired of your mockery." Thor stepped further but was stopped by the Frost Giants, blocking his path to Laufey. Loki came close to Thor, to try to calm him down.
"Thor, stop and think. Look around you. We are outnumbered." He tried to reason with him.
"Know your place, brother..." Thor shut him up.
"You should listen to his counsel. You know not what your actions would unleash. But I fo. Go now, while I still allow it." Laufey sounded wise. Before Thor could say anything more, Loki quickly spoke up.
"We will accept your most gracious offer." Others looked at Thor, waiting what would he do. He stared Laufey down but then turned to leave. They started to follow him when Laufey muttered under his breath.
"Run back home, little princess." Thor stopped in his tracks, Loki went pale and others clenched their jaws. All of them knew what's coming.
Thor swung his hammer, letting him fly around the plaza and knock the Jotuns clear. Others formed a circle around him, tried to save the situation, but Thor wouldn't stop. He wanted this, the battle, the war. Jotuns prepared too, ice former an armour on their bodies. The Warriors Three discussed what kind of technique will they use, meanwhile Thor was already battling few Jotuns, clearly enjoying it. All of them were struggling, battling the 8 feet tall giants, for the most part trying to avoid their direct touch.
Volstagg wasn't so lucky. A Jotun touched his bare arm and the skin started to turn black, necrotizing the arm. He screamed for his comrades and fall to the ground. They quickly ran to his and tried to protect him from the unstoppable attacks from Jotuns. Loki battled one in the corner when he too touched his hand. Loki was expecting the same outcome but when Jotun removed his hand, the skin was as blue as Jotun's. He looked confused at it as it spread painlessly on his arm, Jotun's reaction was the same so he used it to kick him.
"Thor, we must go!" He screamed at Thor, who was fighting Jotun without Mjolnir.
"Then go!"
"There are too many of them!" Sif tried to stop him.
"I can stop them!" Thor said, full of hope but others hesitated. It was getting worst, there were cornered above an enormous abyss.

Neilrosa could sense that something went wrong when Heimdall frowned. It sent shivers down her spine and she knew, they failed. Without other words, she ran to the palace for Odin, with the hope he could save them. He didn't ask much when she told him what happened, he knew his son well. Even though she may have inflicted punishment on Thor, but it was nothing in comparison that he could lose his own life and lives of others.

With his eight-legged steed Sleipnir and Gugnir in his hand, Odin raced into the Bifrost and the only thing for her that was left was to wait.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Out of the blue, the Bifrost appeared before them, revealing Odin Allfather in full armour, on his horse and with his sceptre.
"Laufey. End this." He exclaimed.
"Your boy sought this out." Laufey moved closer to him.
"You're right. These are the actions of a boy. Treat them as such. You and I can stop this before there's further bloodshed." Noone saw how Laufey formed an ice blade at the end of his arm.
"We are beyond diplomacy now, Allfather. He'll get what he came for - war and death." Odin looked determined.
"So be it," he said and brought his spear down upon the ice as Laufey swung his blade at him. The Jotuns have fallen, the ice cracked beneath their feet. Thor was watching it with delight.
"Now! We'll finish them together!" he exclaimed triumphantly to his father.
"Silence!" Odin shut him up, furious by actions of his son. He banged with the sceptre and the Bifrost opened, enveloping the Asgardians and bringing them home.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It felt like an eternity when all of them came back, with few bruises, greatly injured Fandral and Volstagg with dark arm. Odin took out Heimdall sword from the control panel and tossed it to him.
"Why did you bring us back?" Thor raged.
"Do you realize what you've done? What you've started?" Odin confronted him.
"I was protecting my home."
"You cannot protect your friends. How can you hope to protect a kingdom?" Odin turned to others and ordered them to take Fandral to the healing room. Loki stayed behind withNeilrosa, observing helplessly the conflict in front of them. She was surprised but he was knowing where this all was going.
"There won't be a kingdom to protect if you're afraid to act! Whatever the cost, the world must know that the new King of Asgard will not be held in contempt."
"That's the pride and vanity that talks! Not leadership! have you forgotten everything I've taught you? What about a warrior's patience, cunning?" Odin stepped down a few stairs.
"While you wait and be patient, the Nine Realms laugh at us! The old ways are done. You'd stand giving speeches while Asgard falls!" Thor was getting angrier.
"You're a vain, greedy, cruel boy!" Odin screamed.
"And you are an old man and a fool!" The time has stopped at that moment and the world went quiet. Neilrosa shared a horrified look with Loki and knew that Thor took if too far with his words and he will regret them.
"A fool, yes! I was a fool to think you were ready." Odin's voice didn't show any emotion, it was too calm. He moved back up to the control panel.
"Father-" Loki tried to interfere but Odin silenced him with his eyes. Neilrosa didn't have the power to do so, she was frozen and scared. She never saw Allfather like that.
"Thor Odinson... You have disobeyed the express command of your King. Through your arrogance and stupidity, you have opened these peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horrors of war." Odin plugged his Gurning into the control panel and the observatory began to spin. The Bifrost opened behind Thor and Neilrosa shivered.
"You are unworthy of this Realm..." Odin rips a disc off of Thor's chest armour.
"...unworthy of the title..." he ripped away from his cloak.
"...unworthy of the loved ones you've betrayed. I hereby take from you your powers." Thor's eyes met hers. Odin extended hand and the Mjolnir flow away from Thor.
"In the name of my father..." a bolt of lightning struck Thor and disintegrated his right-hand armour and part of the chest armour.
"..and of his father before..." same happened to the left side and Thor stood in front of them in normal human clothes.
"I cast you out!" Odin thrust Mjolnir before him and lightning hit Thor in the chest, sending him flying to the Bifrost and disappearing.
"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor," Odin whispered to Mjolnir and send him to the Bifrost too. Loki looked after it as Odin closed him and turned to his Father. But he was long gone.
Neilrosa couldn't move, she was shocked and terrified, of what happened, of Odin's rage, of where Thor could be. She didn't even notice when Loki wrapped his arm around her shoulders. She automatically rested her head on his chest, the first-ever affection he showed towards her.
"Don't worry, everything will be alright," he whispered into her ear but that only made her angry. he said it so easily as if it was nothing.
"How can you be so sure? Your brother was banished, Mjolnir disappeared and you are like it's alright!?" She pushed him away and strode to the palace. She was determined to bring Thor back and change Odin's mind. As she was approaching Odin's chambers, the guards halted her before she was able to enter. When she was about to flip on them, she heard Queen Frigga's voice from the inside.
"I would not have exiled him to a world of mortals, stripped of his powers, to suffer alone. I would not have had the heart for such cruelty!" Frigga argued with Odin. World of mortals? He is on Earth, she still had hope. She marched to the healing room.

With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading!
