After three days of non-stop fighting, Alex having a nice rest in a comfortable bed. Alex has his own special warehouse. This particular building is the VIP one, although from the outside it looks the same steel warehouse. Inside is different, instead of an open room with bunk beds and share toilets, the VIP warehouse has multiple bedroom, private bathroom, a shared living room, and kitchen. Alex put his special guest into this warehouse.

This morning he woke up really early, he went to the kitchen and start cooking breakfast. A personal stove and fridge with its own electric generator. Another special privilege of being the owner of the place. It's been ages since he cooks in a kitchen, but this morning is a special occasion. He cooks a simple American breakfast. scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. His daughter's favorite. It took him two full hours to prepare.... again not his expertise.

When he reaches the dining table, his wife, Devita, Vily her sister Tiarra and Tiffany all already set and waiting for the food.

"Food coming.."

Alex place all the food on the table and then he sits.

"It's not whole grain bread, but I make it extra crisp, hope you girls like it, Let's eat"

The little Tiarra said "Daddy we haven't said, Grace"

"Oh yes... be a good girl and say grace for the family ok"

"Yes, Daddy..."

She closes her eyes and clasps her hand

"Thank you God for the food and the drink, Thank you for all the blessing You gave for me and my family, Amen"

Alex smile to the little girl, and then notice tears running on his wife's cheek.. he holds her arms...

Tiffany slowly move her hand, and all eyes suddenly starring at her attentively.. she slowly touch and feel the table... she tries to reach for the plate.. and then she found it... she touch the plate and grab a piece of the bread and put it into her mouth.

"Daddy Yummm!!"

A big smile on her face, this is probably the most beautiful thing Alex can find in this world.. a smile of his daughter... only...

Still crying, her mom helps her put the fork into Tiffany's arm... The scene really was heartbreaking, Yesterday when Tiffany awoke, her red eyes have gone. but also her sight with it. The 16 spirit stone and the Shiny pill from the Amulet of the sun, did save her life.. but blindness was the side effect... Another strange thing, her body is too normal. She's supposed to be a peak stage mortal realm, but her current strength is a normal 12 years old girl. Alex has no clue what other side effects will she got. She's probably the only survivor of the disease that killed more than 5 billion people. Probably Alex will know the answer inside the Doomsday pillars.

The mood in the table really was heartbreaking not only because Tiffany turn blind, but the prayer about the family, remind them about their family. Four days ago 15 family members had lunch together in the same table, and now there are only 5 of them. In this situation saying grace is a very hard thing to do. But not for Alex. He's grateful to still be able to sit with his family. he's grateful Tiffany is alive. As for her eyes, he promised to himself, he will find a cure for her eyes.

After Breakfast, Alex leaves both her daughter to their aunt. Both him and Devita have much to do. There's much to do in this base.

The main base is currently bustling with many survivors who took refuge. Many of the people were separated during the chaos, the busiest job currently is the administrators, as people are coming in a hope to find their relatives or friends. The base was more crowded than Alex anticipated. In a way, he's grateful as it means his plans works, but it also means Alex need to make some adjustment for the population arrangements.

The previous plan for 100 warehouses was just finished yesterday. But with one warehouse can only able to fit 500 people. The base still needs to find a living arrangement for the other 36.345. That would require 80 more warehouses. Alex coordinate with Tony his construction manager, the base has enough space to create more than a thousand warehouses, but they currently only have stocked material for just another 200 warehouses. And with thousands of people coming every day, this has become an immediate problem.

Alex has many agenda that he wishes to do, but to make the base work effectively, he needs to assign leaders. Before he assigns the leaders, he needs to make sure his authority justifiable. The highest ranking person in his community was the governor. Alex had a discussion with the governor last night, the governor makes it clear that he didn't want to and have no capability to become the leader of a survival base, he was a just popular school teacher who turns into a role model, went into the politics and got elected. Seeing the sight of a zombie make his body tremble in fear. He fully supported Alex to be the leader.

Alex added a few more names than the one he previously had. And some need to change, Theo doesn't wish to be a manager, he will still help, but managers are not his calling. Captain Donny also prefer to be in the frontline. After a lot of planning, Alex decided to assign 7 managers to lead 7 division, and also to become decision maker for the base while he's away.

Devita: manager of supplies division.

Jane: manager of the farming division.

Doctor Rachel: manager of medical and research division.

Tony: manager of Construction division

Benny: manager of the administration division, he's really good with the people.

Agung, the ex-governor: manager of the education division.

Major Sandi: manager of public security division.

The seven managers will be in charge of the developments and public security. Alex also plans on creating the war councils, but this will need to wait a few days, as many of the leaders are still busy fighting at the front. Just to be safe other than Major Sandi, Alex gave each of them two spirit stone, this will not only make them stronger but also will make them a more effective leader.

Before he starts the meetings, Alex thought about the importance of identity, any entity will need a name to be recognized. This will gives spirit to the group. Alex would also need to create certain ground rules to hold the community together.

Alex then thought about the doomsday pillars that came from the stars. He then decided to name the base as the Star Base, and his army as the Star Army. The rules he created are simple.
