Bifrons kept looking at me with wide eyes, "Did you just ask a high-ranked pureblood demon noble count for a shovel?"
"Sorry, my mistake" Bifrons shook his head at my response, "I need two shovels and two pickaxes."
Bifrons dropped a piece of metal he was holding, "This is the first time that someone asked me for something so stupid in my whole life... Whatever here you have."
Two shovels and pickaxes appeared out of thin air and dropped to the ground. I threw them into my [Itembox] and left through the portal.
I tossed the tools towards the darks and ordered, "Start digging."
Both of them looked at each other with a surrendered look and started to dig.
Half an hour passed, and I looked into a hole under a portal. There was a glowing blue crystal with golden glowing runes engraved on it. The light kept pulsing from a centre of a crystal towards its surface.
"There is still half an hour before darks in the city prepared themself for an attack. So let's relax for a little bit."
With a bored expression, I lay down on the ground and started to watch the clouds.
Finally, another half an hour passed, and one of the darks brought out his communication stone, "It is time. We are ready. You can destroy a crystal".
All of my muscles were already trembling from boredom, "Finally, this was so boring. There was nothing to do."
I jumped out of the ground, walked over the hole and fired lightning toward a crystal. Cracks spread over it, and then it shattered, accompanied by a small eruption of light.
The ground around me started to tremble, and the portal vanished.
"Did I messed up?"
But soon, a small stone crypt-like building was erected from the ground and waves of magical energy spread in the direction of the city. Energy covered the whole area between dungeon and city. It also spread to the city itself. Then it slowly dissipated, only leaving a faint layer of intricate energy covering everything like a layer of snow.

'That's it? No explosion?' I was a little bit let down as I expected something like a total transformation of the land into a totally different biome or something like that.
Suddenly a rainbow portal formed in front of me, and Biforns stepped out of it. He brought out some kind of map and threw it to me.
"This is a map of the city. I marked down all hideouts."
I grabbed the map and looked at it. There was seven-building marked in red circles and one in two red circles.
In the meantime, both darks stood on the side waiting for more orders,
"Go, return to the city. You are no longer needed here."
One of them couldn't control his expression and smiled, but only for a second, as his colleague punched him into the stomach before both of them turned and walked away towards a city.
I, too, spread my wings and leapt from the ground, flying towards a city.
I saw a city from the sky. There was no visible commotion on the streets. So I deduced that regular civilians were unable to detect a magical wave.
Soon I landed in the castle courtyard. Groups of darks equipped with their battle robes were already waiting. The Leader was talking with a bunch of darks with a more decorated masks.
I walked towards him and tossed him the map, "Here, locations of enemies' hideouts."
He opened the map and looked at it before nodding as he looked towards one of the darks, "Go copy these marks on other maps. Make eight copies." he then turned towards his officers, "Form eight groups."
"I will go into that building marked by two circles. It looks important..." I offered, 'And that means a lot of XP for me.'

"I wanted to ask you for that myself."
"But I will be flying there. The less time they have to destroy evidence and prepare for battle, the better for us."
Leader nodded.
Leaders officers have already started to form their own units. There was already plenty of them but more came out of the castle.
Then I noticed something, 'Hmm? Is it just me, or is there at least twice as many of them as during a night when we took over the city. Were they somewhere hiding the whole time, or did they arrive from somewhere outside the city?
'I really need to create my own force. There is nothing that is preventing them from dethroning me when I run out of usefulness... Well, there is still my strength protecting me, but I still need my own soldiers. Bifrons monsters will be good, but I need some servants with free will.'
I summoned my armour and tried to suppress my excitement. It was highly alluring for me to annihilate enemies with a flashy energy attack.
In the meantime, darks already assembled into eight groups, each with thirty members and one officer in the heavily decorated mask at the helm.
Soon a dark returned with seven copies of the map. With a respectful bow, he returned me my original and walked toward the officers to distribute the rest of the maps.
Then Leader moved his hand upwards, signalling for his men to quiet down. All darks straightened up, and silence immediately descended upon the courtyard.
"Let's go! Be swift and show no mercy to these fouls that dares to oppose our authority." The Leader shouted with an emotionless and monotone voice while clenching his fist up in the air.
'That's it?' I thought to myself, 'I was expecting some epic speech, not this...'
All groups moved and started to march through the castle gate. I didn't follow them. Instead, I spread my wings and flew toward their main base. With my speed, I reached their base in under one minute.
It was a relatively big building with writing on the front saying: Barney's Trade Company. They probably detected magical waves as some kind of barrier surrounded the whole building, and transparent white barriers barred all doors and windows.
There were few people on the street, so I shouted at them, "Get out of here. You have one minute before I attack the hideout of traitors. Leave if you don't want to die!"
Without any hesitation, people quickly ran away, leaving me alone in the middle of the street. I brought out my staff, and the wind started swirling in a circle. Parts of the roofs lifted from the building and began to rotate around a dome. The wind was howling loudly through the streets.
"Now, it's time to have some fun with explosions. Hahaha." I started to laugh.

Prince of Destiny
Karl is the last prince of a royal house that has been overthrown by brutal revolutionaries. Orphaned by the revolutionaries, he was rescued and has been raised in secret by Leevana, a green skinned night-hag, for the past ten years. When Karl turns sixteen and is old enough to embrace his destiny, he and Leevana must set out on a quest to find his royal grandmother. But the depraved new leader of the revolutionaries, Joe Steel, is on their trail... Somewhat inspired by the basic concept of Don Bluth's fairy tale animated feature, purporting to be based on the myths surrounding Anastasia Romanov. I don't think this counts as a fanfiction, because it does not use anyone else's characters and it is in its own self-contained world, but please keep in mind the inspiration. Leevana and Karl are completely original characters, but Joe Steel, the bigger bad, is inspired by Stalin. Maybe let me know if you think it should have a fanfiction tag or not.
