《Lucky SP》Chapter 14 - Big Appetite

No less than 10 seconds had passed and the fight was already over. It had to be said, Ghost Knife was a technique which required constant meta-force being supplied to the circuit. In order for Marian to summon two, he needed to have a significant amount of meta-force to summon two of them, and to also supply a constant stream of meta-force to both of them to keep them active. Lucky wobbled to his feet and smiled. "Good fight" "Not bad." Zero nodded lazily. Tonya and 77 felt a little depressed they didn't get the Ghost Knife tattoo. However, Tonya was grateful, Lucky was able to teach them what he could. "Alright bitches, It's my win. I choose where we eat tonight." Marian thumped his hand proudly. "We never agreed to that. This was only between you and Lucky." Zero chided. "Really?? Then why do you guys always eat where Lucky decides?" Marian asked confused. "Because he chooses normal places!" Tonya added annoyed. "Each time you choose our place to eat, it's always a damn food truck." "What's wrong with food trucks? It's the ethnic food of the city! The native foods of the streets! You bitches wouldn't understand." Marian waved his hands energetically. Lucky sighed. "Fine, where do you want to eat. I'll try it once. But we are not going to Uncle Jims again." "Megnartii's Noodles!!" Marian had stars in his eyes. Tonya and 77 both looked at each other. They would come along, but they would never each street vender food if they could help it. They subtlety decided they would eat before they left from the school cafeteria vending machines. Zero just shrugged. "Whatever, I'll come along too I guess." ... The five of them followed Marian once again, to another food truck. It had a large neon sign which read 'Megnartii's Noodles'. It was an Italian pasta food truck. They ordered their food and ate together. However, half way through their meal they sensed a fluctuation of meta-force near by. It was growing ever closer to them. Lucky looked in the direction of the fluctuation. All he could see was a packed road of cars. He threw away the remainder of his pasta in a trash bin and continued to wait and watch. Everyone was similar to Lucky. They nervously stopped what they were doing and waited to understand what kind of monster would appear. "If it is a spirit entity, it will definitely head towards us." Zero calmly analyzed. Lucky nodded. Cold sweat formed on his neck. Was he scared? Of course he was scared. These creatures are abnormally powerful creatures not everyone could see. They were the monsters which lurked in children's nightmares. Marian, Zero, Tonya, and 77 all felt cold sweat forming on the palms of their hands as well. They were no different than Lucky. Soon, a rather skinny and tall Bodie jumped from the top of car to car appeared in their sights. "A small meal for me. No a big meal for me!" it reminded itself as it looked at the car drivers and then back at five of them. The drivers were completely unaware of the 1 meter tall pipe creature with 5 single eyes lining the pipe vertically passed over them. The Bodie stopped in front of the five of them. "Hello feed food. Big appetite I am. I have." The Bodie spoke in broken sentences with it's erie and wavy pitched voice. "It's a Bodie." Tonya confirmed. "But why does it look so different than the other one?" 77 shivered as she looked at the eyes which all blinked in unison, lined up along the cylinder portion of the Bodie. "When Bodie's grow they lengthen in the middle. But the eyes... this is different. Could this be a Bodie who has become..." Zero analyzed as his eyes widened. "Become what motherfucker... don't make me hit you." Marian cursed in a low voice. "This Bodie might be at a much higher level. It might have awakened a meta-force circuit." Lucky added. "Big Appetite. Big Foods. Come." the Bodie leaped towards the five of them. It's body glowed with red-black meta-force. "We are fighting so out in the open? We can't lay down an Isolation Field!" Tonya reminded. "Meta-force Technique: Meal Gaze" The Bodie eerily blinked as meta-force gathered around it's vertical row of eyes. "Shit! " Marian spawned a Ghost Knife. Tonya and 77 hurriedly backed off but it was slightly too late. The Bodie blinked and its technique activated. A red-black cloud formed around Tonya and 77. Small mouths with a single eye above it formed in the mist. The rows of teeth were incredibly unsettling. They opened their mouths and took small bites out of Tonya's legs and 77's left arm. Chunks of flesh disappeared from their bodies. The mouths cut through their bodies like a hot knife through butter. Blood gushed out of the wounds immediately. "AH" Tonya screamed and swayed from the pain. She fell to the ground, unable to support herself on her leg. 77 watched as Tonya had a piece of her leg bitted off. She felt pain in her left arm, but ignored it. All she could think of was Tonya. She couldn't loose her older sister too! She reached her right arm around her waist and tried to pull her up. The Bodie was in ecstasy "Delicious! Delicious feed foods!! Hunnggrryyy" Lucky watched the entire scene unfold. He felt a sense of disbelief at how easily his friends were attacked. He looked down at the Ghost Knife in his hand. What the Hell am I doing? Did I train to watch my friends die like this? Lucky was scared. Of course he was damn scared. This Bodie was considered a high spirit entity. It could use a meta-force technique. The highest caliber of meta-force transformations which can do any number of things. And with just a single blink of its eyes, it could consume its prey. It was abhorrently terrifying! "Wha-ats happening? "Why did those girls suddenly start to bleed mommy? " "Teeth marks! Those are teeth marks in the wounds? My God!" The sounds of exclamations sounded out from the surroundings. Regular pedestrians were walking through this area. They could not sense the Bodie, but they noticed the effects of it on Tonya and 77. And they watched as the three boys were gripping seemingly nothing in their hands and swinging at the empty air.
