《Lucky SP》Chapter 17 - Ambushed at School

Lucky put his away his english book calmly as class ended. Two weeks had passed since the madness on the streets of Chicago. After the attack from the high level Bodie, nobody wanted to continue walking out in the open. They were worried they would be attacked by spirit entities if they walked around too much. Tonya and 77 were the most worried of all of them. They had not learned any self defense skills from Mr. Devlit. Tonya deeply regretted her actions of not accepting his teachings. 77 also felt depressed she missed out. Lucky walked over to Zero's desk and looked at his notebook. Inside, there were scribblings of the Bodie they fought together. It had detailed notes on it's features, attack patterns, and meta-force technique. "Zero, did you check on Marian today?" "Nope." Zero lazily shook his head as he packed away his notebook to leave. "Guess I'll go look for him." Lucky muttered and left the classroom. It had been two weeks, but Marian was too hurt to come to class. Most of the time, he spent in his dorm room recovering. But he would get bored and try to run off to different places on campus for food. Marian seemed even more obsessed to improve his Ghost Knife spirit technique so it could last longer too. All he wanted to do when Lucky visited was talk about his understandings. Lucky had also improved some with his attacks with the weapon. But he just didn't have the same level of control Marian had to produce two of them. But he shouldn't have to worry much. Unlike Lucky and Zero, Marian did not have a meta-force technique. It is only a matter of time till Lucky is able to use is Quarter Manifest again. Then, he wouldn't be easy prey for those evil things anymore. Lucky scratched the bandages on his arm unconsciously. He walked around campus looking for Marian. 'Where is that idiot?' He peaked his head into the weight room. 'He wouldn't be in here right?' Lucky thought to himself. The weight room was completely empty except for two girls lifting weights in front of the mirror. It was Tonya and 77. Tonya had her leg bandaged tightly and was lifting light dumbbells. 77 was waiting her turn behind her quietly. Lucky walked over. "Hello Tonya, 77. What brings you here?" Lucky chatted happily. Tonya smiled. "I hate having to sit still all day." "Ah, are you dating Marian now? I heard he has the same thoughts." Lucky chuckled. Tonya looked at Lucky speechlessly. 'Okay, maybe that wasn't a good joke.' Lucky laughed awkwardly and scratched his arm. "Is Marian wondering around again?" 77 asked. She had started speaking more often now with everyone after everything they had gone through together. "I think so." Lucky nodded. "Gek- Fuck!" A sound of someone choking in surprise came from behind them. Lucky turned around. Marian was limping through the gym exit. He had just come into the weight room from the school gym. He gloomily looked at his leg. Blood soaked the bandage and ran down his leg. His wound had reopened slightly. Lucky opened his mouth in a disbelieving expression. 'This guy actually dared to come to the gym in his condition!?' "You really are an idiot." Lucky shook his head. "Ah? What do you know? " Marian shrugged and continued walking back to the dorms. "Why is he here?" 77 said softly. "Probably because he is retarded." Tonya nodded. She was sure it was the right answer. "Practice. He is definitely here to practice in the wrestling room." Lucky said. Tonya, 77 and him walked into the gym and then into the wrestling room. It had a few blood patches on the mat here and there. Sure enough, Marian was here. "Why does he work so hard? He is the strongest of us all." 77 asked softly Lucky turned off the lights to the wrestling room and left with them. 'He really is a genius though.' Lucky glanced at his palms. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't replicate his double Ghost Knife attack. "Lucky, is there any other way for 77 and I to be able to defend ourselves." Tonya asked. Her voice a bit shaky. "Mr. Devlit didn't mention any other methods besides everything I have already told you." Lucky frowned. "I've been thinking about this too. If these things keep finding us, we can't always stay on the defensive." Tonya continued. "You mean.." Lucky's eyes widened. "Yes." She nodded. They stepped out of the gym and into the open campus again. "Tonya..." 77 froze. She was staring straight ahead watching as five similar aged kids approached them. They each had numbers on their foreheads exactly like 77. Their numbers were 143, 88, 99, 70, and 96. Tonya also froze and muttered softly. "Shit, why are they here?" Lucky was a bit confused. "They? Do you know them?" The kid with the number 143 stepped forward. He had long blond hair and his eyes gleamed with arrogance. His body was muscular and thin. He was 6'1 and looked proud. He was handsome and sharp. "Looks like you are injured. This will make things easier. Do you know who we are?" He said. His limps curled up in pride. "You definitely do." he smirked at 77. 77 was pale and started to breathe roughly. Tonya also wasn't in a good condition. But she was able to maintain her sanity. "Who are you?" Lucky stepped forward and asked. 143 looked over Lucky. "You definitely don't know who we are." He shook his head. "It's fine. We already got the other two HQ wanted. Let's wrap this up. " Swish* swish* swish* 88, 99, and 96 sped out at inhumanely fast speed. Lucky's eyes grew wide. 'Fast! Are these people alpha humans?' "70 you are transporting the goods today." 143 patted his shoulder. 70 snorted and said nothing. He was a big man who's muscles were like a body-builders. His forearms alone were like massive pillars. 88 rushed forward and easily knocked Tonya, 77, and Lucky unconscious with her fast strikes. She was lean and flexibly. Striking each person behind their necks. Lucky's felt pain on the back of his neck. It happened to fast! And he had no idea what was happening. Before he knew it, he was closing his eyes. His eyes shut and his vision sunk into the blackness of unconsciousness. The numbered kids walked off of Montgomery High campus with Tonya, 77, and Lucky unconscious on the giant man, 70's back. A van was parked at the edge of the road, where they packed them in and drove. Not a single alarm or notice was seen from the school to stop them.

Omnicrafter (A Crafting Adventure LitRPG)
Countless twenty-something-year-olds around the world wish every day for a chance to go back in time to start practicing their passions sooner in life. Tabitha is one such woman. With all of her youth spent playing online games where crafting was as simple as gathering materials and clicking a "craft" button to put them together, she never gained any actual experience in making things. Every attempt to create something in the real world is met with disaster. Her heart yearns for being the master crafter of her virtual youth, but she's the type who burns water when trying to cook. That changes when she wakes up and finds herself in a game-like fantasy world where crafting comes as naturally to her as breathing. She still has to put in the hard work of crafting herself, but the system helps her out to make what was once impossible for her possible. She gets all the fun of making things and flexing her creative spirit while not needing any years of training nor study to build her skill up! While she might not have any idea how she got to this strange world, she does know that she's not going to waste her chance and is going to make the most out of this new opportunity to craft everything! An "Omnicrafter" was what they called people in the MMORPGs she played who maxed out every single crafting class, and that is exactly what Tabitha plans on doing with her new life! The crafting side of this series is heavily inspired by games like the Atelier series and the critically-acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV (which has a free trial, you know!)*. If there's a problem, it can be solved by crafting. Also, in case the title and synopsis didn't make it obvious enough, this series is going to focus on crafting all the things. Wooden spears and protective cuirasses? You got it! Healing tonics and farming equipment? Sure! Elaborate cupcakes and customizable fantasy golems? Darn straight! Weapons with a broken amount of different buffs applied to them due to the crafting process and materials used? You know it! The most amazing fishing rod to ever exist? Well, obviously. Fishing is the true endgame only after crafting, after all! So, if you like alchemy, blacksmithing, carpentry, cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, engineering, rune forging, magical enchanting, or basically any other type of crafting found in RPGs, come check the story out! An omnicrafter doesn't just focus on one specific type of crafting. A true omnicrafter is the best at all types of crafting! *This is a meme, I'm not sponsored by FFXIV, please don't hate me. Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.
