Tommy Yang was grumpy today or rather tonight. He should have been back sooner if not for his arrogant boss.

His boss? A beautiful woman for sure, with a sharp tongue and little respect for the people with lower status than her. She was quick to forget what you did well and will remember all the mistakes you ever made.

And this hardworking boss of his, who was too demanding but not rewarding enough was also his classmate from high school.

Thinking about this, Tommy was even more frustrated. Life was like this, with talent and opportunity you could go far, but if you were an unlucky man, all you could do all your life was sweating hard while your bosses were ordering you around.

" well, it is not that bad. Things could be worse" he said to himself while grinning.

He always grinned when he felt down. It made him feel better.

It was at that moment that the night lit up.

There was a 'burning' ball moving in the sky, leaving a blazing trail behind it.

The 'thing' was falling, and if Tommy could calculate the trajectory of the object he would have known that it was not going to fall far away from him.

If he was someone more reactive he would have run to somewhere 'safe' looking for a shelter.

But at that moment he was just grinning while staring at the sky thinking that it was beautiful.

The next moment, there was a sound deafening explosion.

The resulting shockwave broke many glasses, and some buildings were damaged.

People far away could feel the earth shake.

Tommy who was not far away from the epicenter was knocked against a building.

His body was hurting so much that he tough that he was going to die (he did not have medical knowledge about things like that nor do i).

"If I survive today I'm going to call myself in reverse" were strangely his last toughs.

Poor man, injured and lying unconscious in a pool of his blood. Was he going to die?

What he did not know was that, as he was the closest human still living near the 'epicenter' a light ball the size of a fist as if sensing him floated toward him before entering his body and integrating with it.

The incident attracted the attention of the whole world or rather the whole planet, more precisely the people who have access to the internet and the other media.

In the following days, there were many theories about the causes of the incident. A new weapon, a failed research of the government, an attack from a foreign country( most probably South Africa or Wakanda), or just a meteor crashing on earth.

Only the people in the know, intelligence agencies, and the like knew that the situation was even more troublesome.

The object was coming from space and the image captured by satellite showed it seemingly 'phasing' near earth.

The object was made with materials not found on earth and strangely looked like a 'truck'.

There were even some 'characters' from strange language, that the scientist found on its surface.

While the government's attention was focused on the object from space.

People learned about the casualties. Twenty people died and twelve others were heavily wounded.

Some research institutes even asked for their bodies to carry out studies.

But a powerful person disapproved were they saved.

Tommy who was still unconscious did not know that he just escaped from certain death, nor did he known that every two days a woman will come to the 'hospital' to see him.

The doctor was not optimistic about his chance of waking up ever again. Despite all of this, the beautiful woman will still come and talk to him as if he were awake.

Tommy always tough that he was unlucky. But was he not the greatest winner from this calamity.

But he needed to wake up to collect his gains.

It is a story of a sleeping man after his encounter with a truck from space.
