While they were negotiating her away, Tria was busy scanning around the room. This estate is extremely well built and decorated. The buildings were very contemporary kind of like ancient Egypt, and now that she realizes, even the way they were dressed were ancient. Her father was wearing a long plain kilt, accompanied with gold jewelry. Her eyes hovered over the man representing her fiance, he was not an ugly man however he looked interesting. His eyes were slanted with eyeliner on, sword like eyebrows and a small nose and mouth. He felt her gaze on him and turned his face to her.
"His Highness the third Prince will come tomorrow at sunrise to accompany you towards his manor , this marriage was not planned, therefore, there will not be much fanfare" he said looking at Tria, then turned his face towards the Prime Minister, "His Highness also wishes for your cooperation to have the princess consort ready at the said time", standing up and collecting his documents to leave.
The Prime Minister stands up, eyeing Tria to do the same, in respect of the eunuch leaving. Right after his leave, somewhere behind a pillar, came out a beautiful woman dressed in a red silk dress with her blue hair down her side, smiling and walking towards her. This woman was the main wife of the Prime Minister, Nala's mother, Madame Ashir. From her memories, this woman always stared down at her, what is with her ugly smile today?
"Tria, darling, congratulations on getting engaged, there is so much to get you ready for", Madame Ashir said while putting her hand on Tria's shoulder.
Tria stared at the lady's hand on her shoulder, her grip was tight, it was not a kind grip at all.
"What congratulations? Who would have thought that my, the Prime Minister's, daughter would barge into a Prince's room while he's changing", roared Ra, glaring at Tria he continued, "Tomorrow, you will become third prince's wife, even though he has no future prospects, he is still a prince, heh, you lucked out because you were almost on your way out to be your uncle's concubine since no one would want something like you"

Ra continued like that for a while, it sounded like he had a lot to say, however, Tria just stood there, unbothered like she was just there for decoration. After a while of awkward silence, Tria thought it would be best she goes back to get ready for whatever it is she's about to experience tomorrow, after all it's only been a day since she somehow traveled to this weird world where everyone's skin glowed.
"Thank you, Madame Ashir, I will have to trouble you then", trying her best to 'sincerely' thank this weird lady, she stood up and waited for an answer.
Madame Ashir didn't think she would thank her, so she was startled for a second, then awkwardly smiled at Tria. Then she took Tria's hand to lead her out, leaving Ra still grumbling by himself in the hall. With the Madame at the front and Tria following, they traveled to a small room behind a old courtyard. It was a storage room filled with dust, and there were two servants there already digging through things while coughing and pulling out a bunch of debris.
"Have you found it?", asked Madame Ashir authoritatively to the servants
"Yes, madame, um, however with the state of the dress, we will not be able to have it read-"
"It doesn't need to be ready, she will wear it as is, so she can really honor her dead mother" she said while turning towards Tria, "You will wear the same dress your mother wore when she came into this estate, I'm sure you appreciate this sentiment?"
'Going back to your mean self I see and what is there to like, you've clearly thought so carefully about it, after all I am not your daughter, what was I expecting?' thought Tria, but she answered
"Thank you, Madame, I like it very much"
"Good", Madame Ashir then orders the servants to wrap up the dusty dress and hand it to Tria, so she can leave.
Tria received a bundle of dusty clothes, while Madame Ashir already walked off with her servants.
'So much to get ready for huh, I'll show you, I will definitely be a beautiful b

Two And A Half Deadmen
Silver-Spruce is a very strange and very haunted town. Ghosts inhabit its buildings and walk its streets. Some of them friendly and sane. Some of them not so much. Alder helps ghosts. Helps them fulfill their last requests so they can move on to whatever comes next. Sometimes the ghosts aren't so friendly and have to be moved on by force. Alder does that as well. And he's gotten rather good at it too. After a particularly rough exorcism, he finds himself following a strange ghost to a local tourist attraction. And while Alder never means to find himself caught up in chaos, monsters, magic, and mayhem always seem to have a way of finding him. You want more specifics for what you're reading? Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!

Welcome to what strange things my head comes up with when I'm asleep. I'd like to think of this as a series with no end. I'll update it periodically due to me not always having dreams.
