Chapter 0053
Now that her priest skills has been allotted, Leviene turned into Altreyes and start to assign her points there.
Before she can do anything, she got a nice surprise, her second ghost!
The second ghost was twirling around Altreyes while Asalia looked on helplessly from the side.
“Sorry, I uh, forgot your name.” Altreyes admitted with embarrassment.
My name is Braile a sweet gentle whisper echo throughout the room, making Altreyes want to cry with happiness.
Braile leaned over and kiss Altreyes’s tears away. Through their contact, Altreyes can feel the intense love Braile felt for her.
Altreyes floundered in her emotions. All her life, she’s been surround by love. Her parents, her siblings, her relatives and sometimes even perfect strangers come up to her to express their affections.
Being surrounded by love might seem like the perfect life for some people, however, Altreyes doesn’t know how to handle it.
Her dad loves her, but her mom uses her affection as a sort of exchange method, a ‘I love you if you obey me’ kind of affection. Altreyes became rebellious with her mother’s love. She doesn’t obey her mother for her love. She listen to her mother because she is her mother, however, she doesn’t blindly obey her.
Her brothers are there when she needs them. They will never say they love her. They are boys like that. It doesn’t mean they won’t ask for time off during work to drive 10 miles to change her tires when it got punctured because idiots throw away their trash on the freeway. They have done so before. Except. Except they left all the other relatives for her to handle. At times, Altreyess feels like it is a transaction between her and her brothers. ‘We take care of you, you take care of them for us’ like transaction and Altreyes felt like she got the short end of the stick.

If Kaleseze and Wraith hears this, they’d be the first to slap her then hug her. They want to help protect her, but they don’t know how. So they can only watch.
The Deveraux aren’t bad. Sylphie keeps her conditions within the norm. Normal for a rich hierness. 24 hour protection and gps tracking. Altreyes understands and appreciate the logic behind it.
Actually, Sylphie does have Altreyes under 24 hour surveilences not because she has enemies who could target Altreyes to get to her, but because Altreyes get into some much trouble. The gps tracker is there because Altreyes get lost in her house, much less the rest of the world.
It is the Denieves and the Ys.
They love her so much that even if she was slightly hurt, they go after the ones responsible with vengeances.
The Ys… they take extreme actions to warn others not to mess with them.
The Denieves… Altreyes doesn’t understand those crazy bastards.
And now she has another group of people who loves her unconditionally.
Don’t worry about it. Asalia said gently. Having watch Altreyes grow up, they knew what she was thinking.
“Huh?”
We love you enough not to impose our will onto you. Just accept our affections. It is all we ask of you. We know you can’t handle the compulsive desire to monopolize the attention of the person they love. We know enough to give you the space you need. Don’t worry about us and live the life you want to live.
We only want you to be happy.
Asalia smack Braile as Altreyes went into another bout of sobbing.
“Wha… with...the hicupp… Braile’s voice?” Altreyes asked.
From what we can deduce, Braile’s voice has the ability to make anyone listening to it so happy they can cry.
“I can see that.”

Braile will be the caster of the group.
“Ugh…”
Don’t worry. When Braile is casting, her voice won’t affect you or the other players. In fact, it is the quality of her voices that makes her perfect for the caster position. For unknown reasons, Braile’s unique trait strengthen the spells she cast.
“Oh wow. I’ll be in your care from now on.” Altreyes said sweetly as she considered the ramification of the information imparted to her.
“Owww owww owww, my ear. Don’t pull my ear!”
You have always been in our care. We asked you to be you. No need to be polite.
“Okay, I got it. Lay off the ear Braile.” Altreyes grouched. Hey, they asked for her to be herself, so she’s going to be.
Braile kiss her gently on the cheeks then floated behind Altreyes, like a silent guardian.
“You’re lucky you didn’t take my first kiss. I’d have to hurt you if you did that.” Altreyes complained for the sake of complaining.
You brother took your first kiss when you were a baby.
“Relatives don’t count!” Altreyes vehemently denied.
Little Kevin Jacks in elementary school.
“That was on the cheeks. First kiss has to be on the lips.”
The old man at the mall who saved you when you fell.
“That incident was an accident!”
It was still your first kiss.
“Hmph. Not going to talk to you about the past. I got better things to do. Like assign my talent points on my Assassin.”
Altreyes giggled like a schoolgirl. She likes to assign talent points to her characters and watch them get stronger all the while argueing with Kaleseze about damage and survivability verses the ability to earn gold.
Kaleseze, foolish brother that he is, always thinks about end game while Leviene thinks about money, gold and assets she has in game.
“Damn pos bastard!” Altreyes scream at no one in particular.
The pos bastard happens to be you. Asalia interjected with a deadpan face.
“When did this happened? When were my talent points assigned?”
Where else. It happened during your time in the personal dungeon.
“Damn it.” Altreyes grumbled, then went back to check the changes made on her Assassin while consoling herself about the respect cost. The first spec change is free.
In the Sneak tree, Camaflouge has 10 points added to it and the tier two spell Wall Walker has one point into it.
The assigned points wasn’t strange. It’s the notes she made beside the changes that aggravate her. What is worst? She can’t go beat up the bastard.
Arganox’s Notes: To the bastards who say we can’t find the exit out of her room, well, we doesn’t have to anymore. We can walk through the walls.
What god damn we! Shouldn’t it be I? Is she starting to form an alternate personality to cope with the stress of the new world? Altreyes whimpered to herself. She doesn’t want to be like Madalinos!
Also, Altreyes doesn’t want to admit to herself how accurate the statement is. So what if her sense of direction is bad?! There is GPS!
In the Ghost tree, Ghostly Enchant, Haunting Slice and Spectral Flurry has 10 points each.
The new skill in the third tier, Spectral Burst is pretty good.
Spectral Burst
Cost: 250 mana
Cool Down: 60 minutes
Range: 1 meter
Effect: Damage the enemy for 1000% damage
With an extra point in Ghostly Range, all of Altreyes’ skill points are used.
“I want to customize my Assassin!”

The Devil's own sins
Writer updates available for free on patreon. The following account, dear reader, is a recollection and retelling of the story of the first imp. The last devil born from the original primordial pit at the dawn of time, and the lowliest speck of that first generation. It recounts the tale of Thozronnath the pitiful and his steady rise from obscurity, perpetually stuck as a punching bag for his betters until the day hell itself spat him out. The information presented here is pieced together from eye-witness reports and second hand hearsay, sometimes from creatures with more than two hands. I can not tell you with any degree of accuracy how much of it is true as it begins long before our time and it's true ending lies far unto the future still. I can tell you one thing though, it was confusing as hell. Cover: Illustration for John Milton's Paradise Lost by Gustave Doré (1866), a thankfully public domain image. Currently on hiatus.
