《Dusk God》Chapter 7- Riddle Finding

I come downstairs the next day and found that there were a very well dressed man and a guard. Once I went over to the bar table to order food I see both of them walking over to me.
"Is this him guard?" The well-dressed man asked with a questioning glance.
"Yes Sir, this is the man who went into your house and recused you." The guard said with a small bow between us and said, "I will take my leave, my lord."
After the guard left he started talking to me. He was the viscount I saved from the bandits in his own house.
"So do you have the letter?" He asked getting straight to the point.
"I might have," I asked playing around.
"It was nothing important, but a promise I want to keep if you did find it. If you found anything else though I can't promise anything." Making a serious face he said.
"I might have it, but let's talk a little about the bandits," I said.
"It was nothing. But to get the bandits off of me I told them where my family heirloom is." After a minute he continues. "Even though I said that even I didn't know where it was and told them my family riddle that was passed down. The guards later found my son too inside of a prison-like room in the storage house."
"Good for you. So what's the riddle and yes I have the letter." I said while showing him the letter he left in the mansion and storing it back in my inventory.
"Since you have the letter I will give you all my money that I have and my house, which includes my nobility." After saying so he gave me a document saying that all his property has been passed to me and that all his money in the bank has been transferred to me.

"Don't you need money?" I asked.
"Yes, but my son has some in the bank so I should be fine."
"The riddle isn't useful to me anymore, so I'll tell you." Said with a blissful smile.
"What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three in the evening?" He asked and after he did he fell into his chair and relaxed. 'Looks to be something always on his mind.'
"I don't know but I'll find out later or pass it on to my family later on," I said with a smile.
"Don't give it to much time or you'll be like my late father he keeps looking till he was dead." He gave a wary smile.
"Well so did I." He continues with a smile.
After he left I checked the system to find the answer and from that the answer was human.
'But where will the human be? Well, I guess I'll find out where it is after looking at my new mansion.' He thought.
I then went to the Town Hall to change my name officially to Dracula Pre. 'I don't have to hide anymore I guess.'
After doing so at a fee of a gold he made his way to the mansion, which is almost 20 Minutes away in a wagon I 'borrowed'.
After getting there I walked in to find a group of ten maids and butlers waiting for me inside bowing.
"All of you want to be my servants? I don't think that will do, I only need one perfect servant." I say with a serious face.
Then making my way into the doorway then I turned around and said. "You all will come in one at a time, if I like you then we stop."

When the first came in I asked, "What is your name and what do you do around here?"
"My name is Steven my lord and I cook." He bowed.
"Good now I'll ask some questions." My eyes turn blood red while I ask "Do you know where I can find something that says or looks 'Human' In this house?"
After asking these questions to all my servants I didn't find anything that I wanted. Then I went onto the next exam question.
"Can you bring people to die if I told you?" I asked with a wicked smile. Only four of the ten told an answer and 2 of them said yes.
"Since only you two don't mind, that's tested it. Bring five people each into the dungeon downstairs."
"Yes, sir" "Yes my lord" They replied.
Not all man has the balls to send a family to death after all.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
