He walked around the town a bit and asked from the players from where he could purchase clothes. He was directed towards a shop called “Tom’s leather works.” Most of the players recommended the shop as the best place to buy clothings for rookies.

Inside, the shop was filled with various cupboards with different products. There’s a middle aged man on the reception desk. He ask,

“What can I do for you dear customer?”

“Can I look at the clothes you have?” Lin Shen asked.

“Sure” and he went into the cupboard to retrieve some clothes. After bringing four sets of clothing, he laid them on the desk for me to inspect.

“Other than the last one others are completely useless. With my current attack, low level monsters are just cannon fodder. And that weird skill I have only works with 2 star or higher monsters. Fighting against those guys even a +10 defence won’t make much of a difference.”

“Oi old man, how much is that last one.”

“Sorry kiddo, this is not for sale. But if you can bring me a fang from that white wolf living in the northern forest, then I’ll gift it to you.”

Go to the northern forest area outside the town. There you will find a ferocious white wolf. When killed you will receive a wolf fang among the loots. Tom is looking forward to craft some high quality equipments using the fang. Return back to the Tom’s leather works shop to receive the reward.

Similar to before he received a scroll containing the location of the white wolf. It was in the same place as the wolf subjugation quest.

“White wolfs ha, If I remember correctly I already met them in that dungeon. In fact it was the first monster I actually killed. It’s a pity I didn’t get any loots due to that dungeon’s rules.”

After leaving the shop he went towards a large white building labelled “Alchemists association”. It was clearly one of the largest buildings in the town along with another building labelled “inscriptionist association”. Those two buildings sat at opposite sides of the town each occupying a large area for themselves.

Unlike other shops there’s a constant stream of people were coming in and out of the building. After entering into the building, he saw five different counters with different labels on top of them. They were ‘Elixirs’, ‘Potions’, ‘Pills’, ‘Poisons’ and ‘Miscellaneous’. Each of them having different effects.

After purchasing the Elixir from the counter, his balance reaching Zero.

“Today I should finish those quests and grind till I reach my first class up.” Determined, he walked out towards the quest area.

In the forest he bypassed the goblin infested area and moved deeper in to the forest to reach the wolf infested area. There are not many people farming monsters in this area as it’s relatively far away from the town.

When he went deeper in to the wolf territory, more and more wolfs began to attack him. After casually killing those attacking wolfs, he finally reached the wolf den. When he went near the cave he saw a large group of people coming towards the cave together. All of them are wearing full body leather outfits.

One who seem to be the leader is wearing an iron mail armor on the top. There are about 50 to 60 people in that group.

“Are they doing some kind of quest. Che, I came at a worst possible time.”

He saw some other players stopped what they were doing to watch that huge party moving towards the den. He went near one of them and asked him,

“Hey, What’s going on? What’s with the huge party?”

“Oh weren’t you aware. That guy, ‘Michael Lewis’ got his hand on a guild token. Actually that token was first obtained by a girl called Xia Rin. After system announced that quest for guild creation has started, that guy came out of nowhere and somehow ambushed her. Her whole party was killed and that guy took the guild token. Now he is the number 1 in the world ranking.”

“Is that so? Thanks for telling me” Lin Shen said and walk away with a frown.

“What’s going on? Lewis family is from America. Michael is the young master of the Lewis family. He shouldn't be here on Chinese servers. Where are Xia family reinforcements. Some thing is going on behind this and I don’t like it.”

“No matter what I can’t let them go free without doing anything after what they did to little Rin.”

He went outside where players have gathered and hid behind a tree. After looking around to confirm that no one is looking at him, he crouched and drew his sword into a familiar stance. It was the 3rd stance of the flowing water blade technique. He calmed his mind and looked towards the large group entering the cave. He activated the over boost and then the lightning step, allocating remaining 620 points to it raising his movement up to an crazy value of 124000. Then he ‘Moved’.

At first he was there crouching behind the tree and in the next instant he was in the middle of the group cutting them down thousands of times in a single second.

There wasn’t any kind of warning for what happened. They were just about to enter the cave and then in a fraction of a second the entire group turned to a bloody mist.

While every one was panicking Lin Shen was back at the starting town as a spectre.
