《Chocolate Obsessed Genius Mage》Chapter 32. That bastard!

Black's POV:
That bastard!
While I was busy thinking, Blue took off to the sky and went to fight the Whale! I wanted to do that too!
Hmph. Let him be. I will have my own space alien attack my own planet! I should quickly deal with what I'm doing now, then do something about the disaster and go fight Mr.Whaley!
I cast a strong sleeping spell on toy's aunt to make sure she doesn't wake up in the near future - that could really ruin my plans.
I took her body like a sack of potatoes and placed it (a little roughly but it should be fine, she's asleep now and won't feel a thing) in the middle of the enormous magic spell on the ground.
One last look to make sure everything is fine and I started casting the requires charms. These two are rather sophisticated so it takes a while to complete them.
Right when I started, I could feel that the Force of Nature felt it. Oooh, and she wasn't pleased in the slightest...
Strong winds appeared, the earth trembled, signaling for me that this is NOT a good idea... But I already started. And I wasn't going to stop.
I started feeling the familiar silent pressure, getting stronger by the minute. And it's bot something pleasant to feeling at all.
-Yes, yes, I know you think it's dangerous. We both know it is. But I'm sure I can make it! So no worries, Lady Earth! Go back to sleep, don't let me disturb you! I'm pretty sure I will not destroy this planet! Or the stars surrounding it! Nope! No way!
Since it's me that's doing it!
Full of confidence, is what I am!
I think.
Yeah.
Obviously.
Isn't that right?
I shrugged my shoulders. No matter, Mother Earth won't be able to stop me anyway.

-She can threaten me but she cannot do much!
Right when I said that, a huge boulder the size of a cow hit the barrier surrounding my ritual, at the same time causing a big noise.
Ekhem....
As I was saying, she cannot do too much...
An old, tall tree landed with a 'Bang!' on the barrier me and Blue made and then...It starter. A tornado appeared almost exactly above my head, smashing heavily against my magical defences, causing chaos all over my location, with flying rocks, trees and a lot, and I mean a looooot of noise.
What's with all the roaring and whistling of the wind?!! Oy!
...
Maybe I shouldn't have said that she can't do it after all?
-Lady Earth, it's ok. I can handle it all just fine!
In reply, the whole tornado intensified, roaring loudly as if in defiance to my words, like I shouldn't do it. Come on! Just look at what I'm doing! I am skilled enough not to make a mistake!
Meh. Let's just ignore the Old Lady's grumbling and focus properly so I don't make a mistake. THAT would be catastrophic, wouldn't it? And a tornado? Just a piece of sand in the universe compared to the amount of damage a little mistake in my calculations would make. A mistake I might not make if some Force of Nature let me concentrate a bit instead of causing natural disasters all around me!
-What's with the noise!? It's like you want to die, Lady Earth! Hold your horses or you might be the reason for your own demise. And I mean it! We both know you can't stop me!
In reply to what I said, the wind suddenly stopped. But it was only for a moment. What I saw next was a wall of water rushing up somewhere about a kilometre from my location. I remember there was a huge lake there... Does that mean that Lady Earth can do more than I thought?

The water quickly started moving in my direction, and believe me that a mass of water that big looked awesome moving super fast as if a mini-tsunami.
BOOM!
And then it crushed on my barrier - but it wasn't enough to destroy it, oh no. Not so easy!
That's when the water fused with the tornado that was already there and created a hurricane on dry land - way too far from the nearest sea to make it a natural occurance. The grinding, ear-piercing screech that appeared with it made me cringe.
-Oy, what are you doing, Lady Nature?! This isn't safe! You'll destroy yourself first before I come any close to doing it myself!
...
...
Half an hour later.
I must say she likes torturing me. All these attacks are like a constant hail storm that's as big as a Monkey King's fist. And yet I continue creating my long spell for I will not shorten it just because of pressure. The longer I make it, the safer the world transfer will be. And yet the constant noise makes it sooo hard to focus...
I admit that what I'm doing now is dangerous - for me, and for the whole planet. I understand why she would want to protect herself. But this is driving me crazy! I do not know if I can control myself enough not to make a mistake...
But I have to do this.
My own world depends on it... I will succeed!
Otherwise, how can I enjoy my life with a crying toy? Ugh! That would be so gross! No way in hell am I taking a crybaby with me anywhere. That would make me a masochist!
Rumble, rumble.
Uh, oh. What's this noise now? To think it's so loud I could hear it over the howling wind...
I turned my head while still performing the spell and almost choked.
What?! That, that is... a mountain?!
A huge shadow covered the sky - an impressive mass of earth was moving towards my direction, looking almost like a real tsunami. Not good! This huge thing could cover the formation on the ground! I gotta speed up! If this thing hits me...Not good! Not! Good! I need to be focused for this charm!
-If I fail because of you Old Lady Earth then I will curse you!

The Saga of Armageddon: The Call of Crows
Bjorn Stormtamer's world has been turned upside down in more ways than one. His shipmates have left him for dead on an island for quarantining victims of a disease that he now has. His partner in battle despises him, his family thinks he's dead and everyone else thinks it was good riddance. Moreover, the world is under attack by a virulent plague that kills with light and an empire from the east whose intentions are unknown but whose methods are merciless and bloodthirsty. Little does he know that the world itself is nearly on the brink of cosmic collapse. But when a bold, charismatic woman from another nation seeks him out, Bjorn discovers that the plague he has was not a plague at all, but a trial. A trial to determine who is worthy to wield the power of gods in order to give humanity a fighting chance against the winds of fate. This novel was written 2 years ago and isn't exactly my best work. I'm still improving my skills, but I encourage you to enjoy it for what it's worth. ALSO, the whole plague thing was written about before the COVID pandemic. The plague is fake and actually magic in the story, but that has NOTHING to do with real world events. I am under NO CIRCUMSTANCE trying to make ANY kind of statement with it. Please just enjoy the story and stay safe.
