Who would care about me changing Mana's gender/hiding it?

The question basically is "do you mind me changing the gender?"

if you ABSOLUTELY DO choose "she".

if you don't (and are ok with ex male MC) choose "he" or write why you want Mana to be female.

if you want it to remain unknown, choose ?

In the origin story I tried to keep Mana neutral, hinting at Mana being male.

Here she is female, but has a skill suppressing emotions like the previous Mana, and no body either.

He/she/? You decide.

Mana will NEVER be part of a romcom. She/he has no body, and concerning emotions.. so no matter what you have in mind I won't do it. Nope.

She would be changed to he in case "he" wins and to "Mana" in case "?" wins.

"sister" would be converted to "brother" in case he wins. And wouldn't be used in case ? wins.

The story itself won't change. At all. Mana has no body, and she was a shut-in without social interactions in her previous life. That's the setting. It won't change.

The only reason I myself didn't go for "?" from the beginning of the story onward was because I would have to keep using "Mana" in third person. (Ex. Mana went to the convenience store, then he she Mana went to the station..

If "?" wins, I'd try to write around it.
