Floating Planet Yin Long
Yin Long planets biggest city was built within a scary deep crater. The crater is located near the center of the planet and is astronomically massive in size compared to anything else on the planet.
With the crater being so deep, the city was built within with carefully constructed platforms and pathways and buildings to develop a flourishing city. From the bottom of the platform to the very tip of the crater has houses, shops and buildings, that are constructed on safe stone and study platforms that hinge of the sides of the crater walls providing them with enough support to ensure the buildings won't end up buckling and collapsing of their own weight.
The buildings and pathways were mainly constructed with grey and silver bricks and stone, with the roofs being in mainly red tiling. Every single building was the same color and looked like a milky red sea when one stopped at the top of the crater and looked directly down at the huge city.
Past the city, climbing up the pathways leading to the exit at the tip of the crater, the land would start forming into mountains, hills.
Atop one of the hills was the Xuanze family house. Within the main hall of the Xuanze estate was a middle aged man, he was wearing loosely fit white robes, had his hair unkempt floating and brushing past his face. This man was seated on a grand throne chair. The throne chair was made out of marble and had swirling patterns and an open dragon mouth chiseled on to the legs and the arm rests, whilst the cushions was made out of a velvet material. It was positioned on a small platform, with a few steps leading to it.
This throne was at the other end of the hall, upon entering the hall one would notice the narrow velvet carpet, with gold patterns running through the carpet in a swirling design. This velvet carpet was leading from the entry door to the throne. The hall had many paintings hung up on either side and each painting was a painting of a mountain, or lake or a great dead beast with a man or man and wife standing closely in the picture. These were the previous family heads painted. There was many paintings. With one look anybody would know that this family, had a long lineage!
On the throne chair was the current house head, who had black unkempt hair, black pupils and a light stubble. Across the man in a respective position with one hand behind him, and another in front just across his stomach stood an old man. The old man had grey hair, he didn't have much but had a few left. He had a grey mustache and a shiny head wearing a red robe and black shoes, he smiled at the man on the throne and politely requested what the head wanted from him "My lord, you asked for me?"

The man on the throne looked extremely lazy, with one foot on the throne bent and another stretched out, with his right hand holding his head up and left resting on his bent knee, he asked lazily, but also paying attention to his servant "Greyhound, how old is Wenrou this year? Has his seed been developed yet?"
Greyhound heaved a sigh, how many times had he been asked this question? He looked up in a very slow and sad manner, he replied without to much delay with a courteous tone "No my lord, Wenrou.. it seems he won't have a future in protecting the world and won't move to a higher position in his life. His elemental seed has not been developed since birth, even if it isn't rare for some peoples to develop later, by the time they are at least three years old, they would have an elemental seed or at least signs of an elemental seed growing. However, Wenrou my lord is already 8 years old and hasn't had any signs. It is better to give up this notion."
Greyhound tilted his head back down, he knew how much his lordship wanted Wenrou to have the ability to move into a higher station in life. Even if he couldn't become the main head in the future, he was still his kid and wouldn't wish for him to stay a bitter slave his whole life on this tiny planet.
Greyhound, quickly continued his speech, which caught the attention of the lord, he knew exactly what to say to his dispirited lord "My lord, even if Wenrou doesn't develop a seed and naturally he will never, because it is unheard of. The young lord is extremely talented. He already had developed his seed in his mothers womb! In these lands, no! This whole galaxy, that is extremely talented. The quicker one develops their seed the more power it will accumulate. The young lord is extremely talented he has two seeds! The ability to control two elements is extremely rare!"
The lord suddenly had a flicker in his eyes, he still sighed because he wished for Wenrou to truly become a fighter, but if nothing could be done he would still care and provide for him on the Yin Long planet.
The lord rose to his feet, lifting himself of the throne with his arms and hands and the mini platform the throne was situated on. He steadily moved to the balcony of the main hall and looked out to the far galaxy, he murmured to himself "I, Toulan Xuanze have fostered such a child, one day he will rise to prominence, naturally this planet will become to small for him." at that very moment, Toulan looked extremely contemplative.. he sighed deeply while looking down at the vast fields and shaking his head slowly, almost feeling regret he never had the chance, nor courage to leave this planet. He was not talented like his son, so naturally he couldn't venture to other planets and become a hero.

This was a regret for most males and females who didn't have the power and ability to venture from planet to planet.
Toulan immediately turned his gaze towards the main hall, he slowly walked in with both his hands in his robe pockets, with his head tilted towards the floor looking at the specs of black in the marble floor.
He looked like he was pondering, he asked greyhound in a sharp and excited tone "Greyhound! What school should we send Jie to? This planet has a few schools, but we must choose the best. We always go to school gatherings to watch schools students demonstrate their prowess and techniques but we never pay attention to who the best is, after all our family is mainly a merchant family we never pay attention to such matters in detail.." He looked back up at Greyhound with wide eyes.
Greyhound looked up at this moment, he to pondered momentarily but immediately replied, he also looked excited "My lord! There is three schools, that are worth mentioning in this whole planet. The Zhé chì de qǐzhòngjī school, Huǒhóng de quántóu school and finally the Tiāndì school. The Tiandi school is the most mysterious school, it only takes on one disciple every year and only has one master within that whole school. The other two are extremely secluded as well, but they take on many more disciples. I greyhound personally think the Zhe Chi school is the best for the young lord to be admitted to!" With each word, it seemed like greyhound was extremely excited, his voice kept rising and rising until people in the fields could hear him slightly.
Toulan looked out to the balcony and replied to greyhound "Alright, Jie is already six years old, in a few months he will be seven years old. It is required age for the body to begin training and understanding his elemental power within his body. Make preparations for Jie to undertake the test, to gain entry in the upcoming school acceptance day." Toulans gaze didn't shift from the balcony overlooking the crater city and the fields below his mansion.. nobody knew what he was thinking at this moment, except he looked extremely proud.
Right at this moment, Wenrou could be seen moving speedily through the fields. Toulan had noticed him and looked a little bit sad, he thought to himself "It will crush him, if he knows I won't be sending him with his brother to a school to train. He has never understood why a seed is important, and naturally being a child he overlooks a few things. However, it is best if I pull the grass by its roots and destroy his way of thinking. If this continues he will just ridicule himself in front of the city.. how many kids are born without a seed being developed? I have never heard of such a thing, but without a seed, his body won't develop as fast. nor strong as somebody developing and training alongside their elemental seed"
Touland moved his left hand to scratch his stubble, continued to think to himself "I will make him hate me, but that is better than him being laughed at by the city in the upcoming acceptance day. When that happens, it would crush a normal mans will, maybe they will change completely for the worse. This way he will keep his pride and live out a comfortable life in the mansion."
He couldn't help but feel a little sad every time he remembered Wenrous predicament, he knew how much he wished to leave this planet and travel the galaxy adventuring, fighting monsters and beasts, but what can he do? Fate wasn't always kind, and he was chained to such a horrible fate not even being normal not even having any kind of seed growing in his body? What kind of fate was that?
Wenrou at this sudden moment felt a cold chill rush along his neck and backside, he instinctively looked back at the mansion where he could see his father gazing at him. He just looked back, unknowing why, but he felt like something was off.. after a few short breaths, he quickly tossed it to the back of his mind and continued to do whatever he was doing before.

A Requiem For The End is a fantasy story set in a world.......well, quite different from most stories you might have seen (I honestly don't know how to better describe it). Early into the story (prologue) the world feels elusive because you slowly learn about it through the eyes of Yuga.
