Thundering Dragon
Chapter 9: First meeting.
Floating planet Yin Long, lower half
The planet was especially warm during this season. It is the summer solstice, this period of season for the Yin Long planet felt like a dragon was breathing flames, fumes into the atmosphere making it hard to breathe. Practicing cultivation would make it for the majority of the population hard to maintain their vigour.
This naturally never applied as harshly to cultivators, but it would still be a burden during this time of the year. The landscape looked crimson from a distance, the sun raging within the distance, would produce bursts that would carry with-it raging flames as it illuminated the nearby revolving planets.
Every sun is different within the galaxy, and the sun providing life to the Yin Long planet is a young son.
Baohu and Ri had just finished hunting, and wanted to surprise Wenrou, making an earlier roundtrip to pick up Wenrou before heading back out to hunt and prepare camp. Ri had stopped attending school alongside Wenrou. Since Ri was too far ahead of all the cultivators and martial artists, why bother with them?
“Grandpa, do you understand Wenrous situation at all?” Ri asked sitting on the cart, looking curiously at her Grandpa.
Baohu just glanced at Ri from the side, he is also unable to completely understand Wenrou. He replied calm and quiet “I do not know he is different that is for sure. His meridians are not completely blocked, but his body is unable to absorb the Qi lingering within the planets and the galaxy. He is unable to draw from the essence of the worlds. The last remaining planet guardians all disappeared 10,000 years ago. They had cultivation methods for all kinds of situations. However, like I said. Wenrous case is a little special, for him to cultivate again will require extreme measures..”
Ris expression became solemn. Baohu noticed the change in her emotions, how could he not? They had spent the past seven years on this planet, and Wenrou had always accompanied Ri. Ri has had little to no friends since birth, and carries the burden of a family awaiting her return. She is not so close to Wenrou to fall in love with him, but they are good friends, even if they tease each other and annoy each other they still have a good time, and these are the only years Baohu has seen Ri smile and become close to somebody other than him.
“Ri” Baohu called out, stopping the cart. His expression had turned serious
“You must bury your heart in ice. Once we leave this planet in a few days you will never see Wenrou again. His fate is tied to this planet, never to leave, and perhaps that is best for him. He wouldn’t last long in the other sectors, especially not in our family.”
Ri was about to argue, but could see Wenrou up ahead. She turned her gaze and noticed a scene unfolding in front of them.
“Hey Wenrou, check this new skill I have mastered” a thin and grating voice sounded out.
And with that the assailant leapt forward, one foot in front of the other there was a swirling motion around his left hand where a faint Qi stream could be seen from the tips of his fingers leaving behind a smooth trail. The fingers struck Wenrous top right shoulder, where Wenrou was blown away to crash into a wall behind him.

Wenrou was being beaten, and these weren’t just normal attacks. They were Qi infused abilities, obviously the person attacking had amazing control allowing him to leave the littlest of damage. This was Ra’win.
Ris eyebrows knitted together. She never liked Ra’win, he liked to hurt people too much. It had become a sickness with him.
Seeing Wenrou unable to defend against him, she was just about to leap up, and protect him when Baohus arm suddenly grabbed hers.
She turned looking furiously at her grandpa.
“What are you doing Ri? If you act now, Wenrou is a man, already a young adult. Helping like this will only further send him to his grave, what will he do when you leave? If you help now, and even if you hurt the other boy, later he will come back even harsher for protecting Wenrou. Then imagine his situation?”
How could Baohu not understand Wenrou. He knew that Wenrou was being beaten up daily, but if he never asked for help, he wouldn’t help him. He has already done enough for Wenrou. He knew that helping beforehand would only make it worse for Wenrou.
Wenrou felt extremely ashamed of not being able to fight back on his own, and his natural deficiency of not being able to circulate Qi around his body made him feel lower than a dog.
He would occasionally think back to his argument with his dad back in the mansion. Seven years had passed, but he had not forgotten that day, what his father had said. He had long ago believed to be lower than a dog.
As Wenrou was lying on the floor pain stricken, his face solemn he noticed Ri and Baohu. He noticed their eyes looking at him.
“No why are they here?! No no! Why! Fuck you Ra’win. You piece of shit. Now they are looking at me like that as well. Does everybody think I am lower than a dog?!”
Wenrou could only curse in his heart. He hated how people looked at him, he shifted his gaze away from Baohu and Ri. He was unable to look at them, viewing him as a weak and pathetic human.
Just as Ri was about to push of her Grandpas arm, the atmosphere changed.
A man had suddenly appeared on top of a small cliff of at the side. The cliff was like a small overpass, such cliffs are overabundant within the environment. The man was crouched, he wasn’t emitting anything but his gaze. He looked towards Wenrou and Ra’win.
Within the area was Ri and Baohu. Ra’win and his people we’re there as well and just Wenrou. Now that this mysterious person had appeared, time had suddenly stopped. Nobody could move, Ra’win felt a cold chill pass through his body. He suddenly felt Goosebumps all over his arms, his hair was sticking up! This was fear, this was instinct telling him to run!
He stayed crouched, looking at the scene in front of him. He had long black hair, his head was tilted slightly towards the ground making the bamboo hat on his head block most of his features. However, this still made Ra’win shiver with a cold sweat. His features being hidden, his gaze that was hidden which made it seem much fiercer. This man was mysterious and mysterious was scary.

The man was adorned in black martial attire with a dark blue robe with blue bubbles all over the robe.
Nobody realised but they had stopped for a little while. Everybody was waiting for this man to move, who was he? Why did he appear here just now? Everybody was guessing in their hearts.
Baohu was amused. He couldn’t help but smile, he was unable to understand the strength of this mysterious man. However, Baohu being a martial artist of a high calibre could understand that the man to the side of them was not normal.
“….”
“Oh? These little baby chicks are playing training. That boy though, such a pity. He can’t protect himself.. hm? Why are they looking at me? Is there something wrong with my clothes? My face?
The man began touching himself, feeling his clothes, his body and face. This made everybody feel slightly awkward. What is he doing now? The situation had shifted from Wenrou being bullied, to watching this man perform acts.
He kept touching himself, slowly his hand slipped down to where he grabbed his two balls. He then began itching them. A momentary look of satisfaction eclipsed over his face.
Ra’win seeing this felt his face twitch. He looked down at Wenrou and spat at him ‘tuk’ and continued “is this your friend Wenrou? He looks just like you a goddamn fool! Pretending to be something he isn’t.”
Wenrou would piss Ra’win off every time he attended the local lectures based on Martial Arts, Qi and Essence training. Nobody paid attention to Wenrou, because he wouldn’t last more than five minutes in a lesson before a master would shame him in front of the class and beat him up, or watch others attack Wenrou as a way to teach the class martial arts. They would practice on him when they ganged up and ridicule him whenever they saw him.
It just pissed Ra’win off, making him mad. People who didn’t belong somewhere, shouldn’t be there. This was a rule of society a rule his father beat into him.
Just as the mysterious man was about to leave, he stopped and turned his head looking at Ra’win. He was tall, standing on the hill with the sun behind him gave of an aura of ancientness.
Ra’win continued arrogantly “Hey old man. You look similar to this dog here, you worthless sack of shit. Why are you watching something you shouldn’t and why are you hanging around this area. I have never seen you before” he finished spitting again ‘huarrk, tuk’ gathering the phlegm in his mouth and shooting it towards the ground.
The man just stood there, thinking about what he just said. He replied in a righteous manner, while touching his chin with his right hand as if he was the most serious person ever to say this line “I am looking for females to add to my harem.”
Wenrous eyes bulged, Baohu looked disbelievingly, Ris jaw dropped and Ra’win looked unsightly. He replied “You are just a pervert old man. No girl will willingly give themselves to a pretender like you. Ah, however a pervert like you can’t stop these sort of disgusting thoughts. It is my duty as the instrument of justice to put people like you in their place.”
The man’s gaze turned unsightly. He hated the word pervert! His rage was beginning to billow, the more it billowed within, the redder his face became. Ra’win could see he struck a nerve, and was for sure this man was just a commoner pretending to be a martial artists. Maybe this was his ploy to get females?
He continued whilst approaching him step by step “Perverts are men who need to be castrated, so we as a human kind can stop more perverts being born.”
Before Ra’win could take another step the wind shuffled, the atmosphere changed it turned cold and chilling! Before Ra’win could look up, he felt a shadow fall on him. He felt the weight of a presence approaching him and before He could do anything ‘PAK!’
“Call me a pervert one more time” ‘PAK!’ the man’s rage sky high he continued in a raging fashion “call me a fucking pervert one more time. Watch me take you home and take your mother under me and father more perverts with her” ‘PAK!’
His rage was seeping out through his nostrils and eyes, before he looked sort of looked handsome and refined under his bamboo hat. Now though he looked like raging red boar! He kept continuing and with each time he kept slapping Ra’Win.
At this moment, he wanted Ra’win to keep calling him a pervert, because the sensation from slapping made him feel extremely serene! He kept shouting unrestrained “Call me a pervert one more fucking time! Do it!”
Ra’win was being held, he could feel his right arm was stuck in some sort of vice. He couldn’t move any longer. His face red, swelling slowly and few of his teeth knocked out, alongside his nose bleeding. Made him look like a red warthog!
Ri was shocked as well. The sight of Ra’win being slapped wasn’t what had shocked her. It was that this man had moved 15 paces without expanding his Qi, nor disturbing the surrounding atmosphere. He passed through as if he had owned the air between him and Ra’win!
Just who is he?!
Baohu, looked up at him, there was only a few breaths between him and the man. He still couldn’t feel the man extrude any sort of Qi or Essence. He was a talented individual indeed, hiding Qi whilst utilising movement technique would be hard for many master tier martial artists, but this man was able to do it without being prepared for a fight.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region
