Thundering Dragon!
Chapter 22: A dog
Chihong, and Leiming we're both still having a discussing Wenrous situation, as well as the bizarre status of his body.
'Wait... you once said that the first step requires the lightning to chain the Dantian to the elemental seed. The meridians must support this phenomenal change within the body. Not only that Leiming, but he hasn't trained in any type of breathing technique... how did he pull it of?' Leiming, simply looked up with a smile on his face. This female was extremely smart when it came to martial arts and has no equal who can talk evenly with her in this area.
He simply smiled, 'there is a few bodies blessed. Wenrou is such a case. There has never been a case of a world pill making a move in my lifetime nor before our time. Many have tried to destroy a world pill, many tried to absorb it, and many tried various methods to release the amount of Ki, trapped within the world pill. Nobody has succeeded once, but this boy released a flame that burnt the very world pill, which melted the Ki, residing within. You saw this with your very own eyes, no?'
Chihong looked lost for a moment. She never quite understood that scene, nothing like this has ever happened before. She has never read anything like this, nor heard of such a thing. She had even doubted it was a world pill. She definitely would have doubted hearing it, only she had seen this with her very own eyes! How could she be so ignorant, or stupid to not think anything of it?
Leiming smiled even more, just observing someone whose world is growing bigger infront of them was truly fascinating sight. He simply coughed lightly, continuing he slowly said 'I've already inspected his body at that time. He has twelve cores! Not only that, his Dantian is pure black, even my own Ki, was burnt coming into contact with it. We have heard of something similar to this haven't we?'
Chihong's eyes darted along the ground, she was clearly thinking through her memories and information of what it could all mean. She stopped, looking back up at Leiming, seemingly coming to a consensus. She spoke, woth an astonished look 'Twelfth pulse body? But, it doesn't make sense. The only other person who had such a heaven defying physique is no longer apart of this world! I don't believe it, not one second that his descendant has been hidden for so long!?'
Leiming looked thouhtful for a moment as well. The world pill is formed after a sun dies in a galaxy. Even a sun has a breathing technique the amount of eons it practices a breathing technique, slowly accumulating Ki, and world essence allows it to burn brighter and stronger! Once it dies, all of the residual Ki, forms in the shape of a world pill. However, to this day only three world pills have been acquired successfully after a world sun died.
These pills had become nothing more than myths and tales. Something that lost value over time. People began to slowly forget about world pills. So many tried to make a miracle happen with world pills but it all ended up for naught. Many lost interest, and eventually over time nobody gave a damn about them!
'What's truly scary about Wenrou, is not that he absorbed the Ki within the world pill... but the fact that his body still hasn't collapsed underneath all of that pure energy!'
Chihong had never realised this. Only upon hearing Leiming did she connect the dots. She was instantly shocked and horrified. 'The amount of pure Ki within a world pill... it's a miracle he hasn't exploded due to the pure Ki overflowing his Dantian!'

'However, there is far to many obstacles in his path right now. His skin is still dirty, his pores are tightly shut. His inner meridians are still convoluted and worn down. Even if he managed to train his body and open up his meridians slowly, the pure Ki, would only become dirty and contaminated resulting in all of that pure Ki coming out extremely slow and weak. Weaker than it could ever be!' Leiming looked extemely stressed thinking about the impossible happening, only for the gods to play a cruel joke on Wenrou. The Ki, was pure within his Dantian, however the moment he moved the Ki, through his meridians and skin it was like water being filtered through closed funnel. The Ki that eventually passed through would be extremely weak and dirty.
Leiming abruptly stopped his thinking and conversation with Chihong, looking towards Xia Ban city 'Oh? Ban ban is calling for help. It seems he ran into trouble again...' he thought to himself.
Chihong picked up on the changes and asked him, 'Is it Ban ban?'
Leimin only nodded and flashed away from his position moving towards ban bans distress signal.
Wenrou managed to complete 19 laps. His body felt absolutely wrecked. He kept eating moutful of air, afraid if he didnt he couldnt breath any longer. He slid down on a tree a few metres away from the city walls. It was a desolate area. Only a few people were currently here.
Ban ban was preoccupied with chasing little animals and licking them in the most unceremoniously fashion. Ra'win and his group of mates where wondering the city when they noticed the cripple running around, as if he was training. This made them all itch with anger, that day he had been beaten till he dropped like a deflated ball. His anger still hadn't dissapeared it was growing inside of him, like a festering wound waiting for his chance to meet somebody who he could show all of his friendly side to.
Seeing, Wenrou stay still he moved towards him. His face showing a sort of smile, but upon seeing this smile anybody could notice it was suppresing the pure rage inside of him. He laughed, while saying 'this little bitch is still playing martial arts'.
His boys laughed, the laugter woke Wenrou from his slight daze. Peeking out he saw the four lads walking towards him. He was truly exhausted, he couldn't be bothered with this group. He only wanted to rest now, so as to complete another lap. He tried to keep quiet, but the group of lads only moved closer.
Seeing this, he knew he was getting out of this unscathed. He grit his teeth, and pulled his body up, using the support of the tree.
His body looked tired, and exhausted. Leaning against the tree to keep his body up.
'Look boys, a dog standing on two feet. Not even a circus has this, hahaha!' Wenrou hated the word dog, he had heard this word far to many times growing up, this word was an insanely irritating word for him. It would tick him of immediately.
He only continued to look at Ra'win and his boys. Ra'win seeing Wenrou's dirty gaze only made him angrier. He clenched his fist and grit his teeth, he leaped at wenrou moving like a monkey swinging of the branches, his two knees crashed into Wenrous chest.
Wenrou only a bit away from the tree, was flung hitting the tree and falling to the floor. Ra'win felt a sense of superiority. Seeing the single move rendering his opponent dead. Just as he turned around to celebrate with his friends, he heard an annoying sound. He only slowly turned around, with a curious look, he asked 'did you say something dog? Can you even s-p-e-a-k~?'

His tone was clearly derogatory towards Wenrou. He was slightly startled, he wasn't knocked unconcious of that strike? The more he thought how this weakling wasn't lying on the ground dead of his vicious strike, the crazier he got!
Coughing blood out his lungs, Wenrou on all four legs only lightly said with all the strength im his body, 'I said, is that all you got you dumb fucker. Your moves full of openings idiot' after finishing his speech, he slightly laughed, the slight laughter turned louder.
Ra'win was being laughed at. It was truly embarrasing, anybody could knock this cripple out with serious strike. He even bragged on the way up. What made it worse was his mates also laughed along. Laughing at the cripples jokes? Ra'win got pissed of, he moved closer to Wenrou wih a single step. He grabbed him by the hair, pulling him up.
Wenrou could only grunt. He didn't have the true strength to fight Ra'win yet. But he was good at taking beatings. Ra'win was merciless he kneed Wenrou in the chest, his knee was especially piercing. However, it didn't stop there. As he dropped Wenrou, he elbowed him across the back of the head as Wenrou was grimacing in pain on the floor. Trying to catch his breath, he was suffocating.
Ra'win didn't stop he continued to strike Wenrou in the sides. Each strike carrying greater strength. 'Haha, talk now bitch. You don't know when to be quiet.'
This scene was becoming more and more out of hand. It was only supposed to be a strike or two, but now Ra'win had took it to far, some of his friends seeing this stepped forward. 'Ra'win come on man. This is taking it a little to far now, his rib cage looks fucke, and he's having trouble breathing. Come on, we can go find enjoyment elsewhere.' As he said he touched Ra'win on the shoulder to pull him of.
Wenrou looked truly angered, in a knelt position felt his body going numb. He felt like this before, everytime he moved Ki, his body felt ecstasy it felt stronger, more powerful. He gradually condensed Ki from his Dantian, forcefully moving it to his wrist. He was trying to maintain concentration, even as Ra'win rained furious blows on him. He wanted to fight back so desperately. His body wouldn't listen, the Ki halted at his wrist but he didn't know how to execute it. He Recalled a piece of advice from his master before he unleashed his blow.
'If you don't want to lose your limbs, don't execute the Ki within your body! No matter what!' Remembering his masters words of wisdom, he retracted the Ki.
His gaze had unknowingly also darkened, became even fiercer. Ra'win who was in full view, was startled awake. He muttered to himself 'He's still not unconcious? His eyes, was he always like this?' The gaze was truly fierce, it halted Ra'win for a second.
Suddenly he felt his friend touch him on the shoulder. Taking his mind of Wenrou's gaze he became furious. Ra'win knocked his hand away. Continuing the relentless beating on Wenrou.
Ban ban just now heard Wenrous grunting. To his shock, he had been distracted following the sound he saw Wenrou on the ground, his head bloodied, and body in wounds. 'RARARAAAAAAA' furious ban ban flew straight for Ra'win.
'Ah, what the fuck is that?' Some of the lads behind saw Ban Bans descent from afar. It truly looked malicious, such massive teeth, such a furious looking beast was flying towards them!
'Impossible, it's moving so fast. It's coming towards us, what... what the hell!?' Confused the group bickered between them as they each created space from Ra'win. Every man for themselves, their defensive mindset kicked in, noticing the trajectory of Ban Ban was aimed at Ra'win.
One of the lads, quickly shouted to the absorbed Ra'win. 'Watch out Ra'win! To your left!!'
Ra'win heard the shout, with a face full of smiles he just glanced to the left. Only to see a giant pebble, with large white teeth flying to him at immense speed! The enraged ban ban was truly frightening! His speed far surpassed these mere children! He Is an extremely rare fish, even within his species! A rock fish, who can fly is extremely rare and special! His flight speed couldn't be compared to on this planet, and Ra'win he was no match. Just barely noticing the giant pebble flying straight at him, he only had time to cross his arms in a protective manner before it collided wih him!
He didn't have time to think, only to protect. He grunted in pain. It was like a giant rock face had slammed into him, his body rolled and flew a few metres away. Landing on his knees, he didn't have time to look up, he moved to run away! Turning his head, using the distance created to escape.
What was this? If that thing was that fast, could he really escape it? This fearful thought crept into his mind. This sort of thought made him slower, and sloppier like shackles around his feet. His movements clearly resembled he was in both shock and fear. He didn't get far before his feet collapsed under him.
Ban ban hadn't hit him with full force because Wenrou was right next to him. He looked down, seeing Wenrou motionless on the floor, infuriated him! His mouth grew bigger, his body slightly bulged he let out a fierce shout 'RA RA RAAA' he moved even faster this time, with no limits. How dare somebody atrack his only friend? He was incapable of smart thought, he was still relatively a child, and just like a child he was cross!
'Listen you baby! Don't do anything stupid till I get there!' Leimings voice, resounded in Ban Bans mind, it was futile. Ban ban didn't hesitate he moved extremely fierce straight at Ra'win.
Ra'win saw the pebble of death, his body lost all control. He leaked his pants involuntarily. He closed his eyes in fear, he wasn't strong enough to face it head on.
This was truly the first time he was in a death-like situation. How did it end up like this? It's all that boys fault, that thing attacked me because of him. As he thought so, his anger towards Wenrou went darker and deeper.
'Ban..Ban. You big baby what are... you doing!' Wenrou's feeble voice boomed out, immediately Ban ban took notice!
Ra'win still in a kneeling position. His urine all over his lower half. He heard the words as well. His eyes closed, he clenched his face even harder feeling the pebble of death enclose on him. But nothing happened? A gentle breeze hit his face. Ofcourse this gentle breeze felt like a wind whipping which resulted in his face being bloodied, his body also tossed and turned a few more metres away!
The lads seeing this scene was left stupefied! A mere few words left this giant pebble of death completely harmless. No! What was even more shocking was the cripple managed to crawl back upto four legs, even in his current condition.
Wenrou just looked at ban ban, even when he is bloody this giant rock fish would still lick him. Immediately, after a single lick most of the blood vanished. Wenrou, only patted ban ban on the head. He looked tired, and hurt but he knew that ban ban would certainly kill Ra'win. He didn't wish for such an innocent thing to easily kill other living beings, even for him. It wasn't natural.
Ra'win saw the affectionate bond between the cripple and this giant pebble. He slowly felt even more irritated. Was he saved by him? He didn't understand what irritated him more, that Wenrou had a friend who was truly caring about him or that he spared his life after beating him to an inch of his life?
Nevertheless, he was still in fear. He couldn't move. Just as everyhing almost settled down, a brilliant flash appeared in the sky, like the sky was split open, it was truly to fast. A man had appeared, Ra'win seeing this man, could only say his prayers. This was the man who beat him till he deflated like a ball!
'Master, it's good that your here. I finished nineteen laps...' Wenrou said solemnly, like he forgot what happened here.
Leiming was understanding, Wenrou didn't want him to fight his battles. Although, he thought like this. He was truly angered this time, it wouldn't take half a thought to kill such a person. Just that single look of Wenrou, managed to wash away his burning desire to kill. He looked back, he only asked 'what happened here?'
Wenrou only coughed lightly and said 'nothing, just a few pointers by these trained fighters. It's nothing, lets go back to camp.' He swept away some of his blood, tidying up his hair a bit. He moved standing up, bowed to his master and climbed back up on ban ban.
He was truly angry, but he wouldn't ask for help for such a shameless act of asking his master to kill or punish people on his behalf. He didn't think more on it, he had always been beaten, until he had the strength to fight back on his own he would continue to taste these beatings. It's what slowly drived him to his goal!
Leiming couldn't do anything. If Wenrou didn't ask for help, he wouldn't force the issue. Seeing man, beast and boy dissapear. The lads was truly sighed in relief. The ones who saw him, beat Ra'win last time only shuddered at the thought. But what was this? The cripple actually let them go?
They moved towards Ra'win who was still knelt lost in thought. 'Master? That guys training the cripple?' Seeing his friends move closer, in his pitiful state he barked, 'leave me here alone go without me'
Hearing his harsh tone, the lads didn't say anything. Just nodding, they departed together. Leaving behind Ra'win.
let me know what you think!

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
