"Come, sit here."
The young man patted the open space to his side with his palm still smiling , not at all bothered at the heavy atmosphere of the room.
"Don't mind if I do."
Caid didn't refuse and did as the young man said and sat with his back towards the wall.
"Good, I hope you are comfortable. Now, let's get to business as soon as possible.
You, whatever your name is. Get in front of us. We need some privacy from prying eyes."
He spoke to the young woman to his side without taking his eyes of Caid.
"Huh, me?"
She was taken aback, not knowing if what she heard was true or not.
"I clearly misheard right? Right, baby?"
The young man lost his smile and turned towards the woman which was still holding his arm.
"Ahhh... did I stutter? "
"But but...
The young man's face contorted in anger. Before he looked like the friendly friend if your older brother, but now he was like a completely different person. His eyes were so cold and calculating that one would mistake him for a machine.
"Get the f*ck out of my face... before I remove it for you."
"Ye...yes....
The woman started shaking and only managed to get out a muffled yes before she moved in front of them. All of this was observed by Caid with the corner of his eye.
"So, where were we?
Ah, I was about to introduce myself? My name is Michael, but you can call me Mike. "
" Caid, and you can call me Caid."
"Caid...
Sorry for 'that'. Sometimes you need to let a b*tch know her place. "
Caid gave a good glance at the the redhead in front of them and gave a sigh.

"Honestly, in the situation I'm right now, I don't really give a shit. Also, I didn't come here for smalltalk, but to see if you have anything in mind."
"Let's start then. Shall I go first?"
Caid closed his eyes and leaned with his hands behind his back.
"Go right ahead."
"For starters, how did you know they are military? "
"No, and no. I didn't say they were military, I said that they may be military. Also, as to why I thought that....
It's because of the way they are holding their guns. I may be wrong in my assumption, but I'm about 80% sure they had some military training."
The young man didn't seem to have expected that kind of answer as he was left speechless. He gave a long silent look to Caid, seeming to try to see if what he said was true.
"Haha...
What an unexpected answer my little friend. I'm almost jealous , almost."
"Glad to hear it.
Now, it's your turn to answer the question. How did you know they were military?"
It was Caid's turn to ask his question and Mike's turn to answer.
" It's rather simple. It's because of their tattoos."
"Tattoos?"
"Yes, all three of them have the tattoo of a bullet, will a skull on the middle of it on the back of their left hand. That tattoo is a dead giveaway about their identity."
"So, who are they?"
"I'm not also sure , but I would guess they should be ex militia of the Mimbo Republic. "
"Militia, not soldiers? And ex militia at that?"
"Right. Since the end of the conflict between the Mimbo Republic and the Republic of Padokea 5 years ago there have been some Militia who didn't want to leave their arms."

"So what, did they become terrorist? What is their reason for doing something like this?"
"Hehe, I don't know."
"You don't know?
Well, at least do you have some idea. Are they really after the ransom money?"
"Maybe...
After he spoke those words he fell into silence. He seemed to have fallen into deep thought and even after a minute he didn't respond.
'Has this guy fallen asleep?'
"Hey , hey...
"Hmmm... I was thinking."
"Thinking about what?"
"You really do have a nice suit don't you? I only remember one other person who wore a suit like that."
"My... suit?"
"Man, I really didn't expect this airship ride to be so fun. I almost want to stay here and enjoy it, almost. As for what you were saying...
Does it matter? It's either kill or be killed."
"Plan?"
"Plan, yes. A good plan? Not really.
With your bulletproof suit and a sneak attack we may be able to take them down, but I'm not to sure that we will succeed. At most we could take 2 or maybe three of them before we are mowed down like grass.
Man, if die I'll really miss the smell of just cut grass."
' This guy, he...he is to hard to describe. He knew my suit was bulletproof , but isn't asking me why? Also, he is clearly crazy.
Should I look for someone else to help me? Maybe that middle aged man from before?'
"Maybe we should involve some more people on your plan? How about the...
"No, I don't trust them. They may as well get f*cked for all I care."
'This guy...
"But if we don't do that, we will all die, and I don't think you want to die just yet."
"Well see about that.
For now I'm going to rest a little. Wake me up when you're about to die."
.....
At the same time on the cockpit of the airship, Tank was angrily staring at the pilot flying the ship. Beside the pilot was a , bulky man who had half the little finger of his left hand missing. The two of them were looking at an old pice of parchment that looked like and old map.
"Fisba, you f*cker? Why did you do this?"

I was once like everyone else. I had a family, went to school, played sports, and had a decent amount of friends, but then one day that all changed. What was the thing that had happened to me you might ask? Well, in short, I was abducted, but if we're being technical, what actually happened was me being summoned to this world called Atalan. However, I wasn't summoned as a hero or this great sage or a wizard or any of that stuff. No, I, Donovan Rutherford, had been transported to this world to be the one and only Black Knight of the Demon King and to defeat the Hero and his companions.(The Cover Photo is from DnD, aka Dungeons and Dragons, which isn't something I own. Well, I own one of the boardgames, but you all know what I mean. Anyways, like my other story I consider it more of a 2D world, but that's just me.)
