Authors Note: I will try to post a chapter a week to relieve some of my stress from RL so please endure.

AN2: it will be hard to describe the inside of the citadel so I will draw up a map of the citadel and post it later when i have the time.

Feelings and Magic

A week later Arc has been in the royal library ever since he had arrived in the citadel of the elven capital. Arn and Aria was surprised that Arc had an interest in reading which was unusual due to the fact that most of their golems were possessed by contract spirits and were not interested in learning about the world. with a bit of persuasion Arc was able to get permission from Arn to be in the library on the condition that Aria is to study with him. Aria even though a priestess she still come and go between checking her brother like Golem Arc and sacred duties in the temple. with each trip she became closer to Arc to the point that her father was worried about her future. During that time Arn had to choose a guardian ranger that are of the same gender of his daughter. while pondering about it one of his rangers that escorted them came to him and suggested his little sister Erza. Thinking that there were no other worthy candidates that were female he asked summoned for her.

[Erza Pov]

while walking to the Citadel Erza and her father were going to meet their great Elder Arn.

[Erza]

"Father am i going to be a guardian ranger!?" asking with excitement in her voice

[Guard Father]

"who knows sweetie you may just be able to fulfill your dream" with a smile as he sees his daughters excitement.

thinking a bit then he said teasingly

[Guard Father]

"You may meet that knight in the castle." with a grin and wink at his daughter

Erza blushing at the mention of meeting arc.

[Erza]

"uhhh" hitting her father with her hands while still blushing.

[Guard Father]

"hahaha" laughing about his daughters interest in a man.

after their exchange they arrive at the gate to the citadel.

Meanwhile Aria is with Arc studying through a book titled Application of Basic Magic.

[Aria PoV]

[Aria]

"Arc do you know the basic element of magic?" while looking at Arcs eyes with a book open in her hands.

[Arc]

"I believe that they are Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind Elements?" answering from what he has read from the book

[Aria]

"That is correct these are the four basic elements but do you know that there are two more elements besides these four?" asking as if she is a tutor teaching a child.

[Arc]

"Really? would those just so happen to be Light and Darkness element?" answering with a guess

[Aria]

"yes that is correct Light and Darkness are the other unknown elements and adding them to the other four there are a total of six elements total in the world." with eyes wide open with excitement at the thought that Arc answered right.

[Arc]

"why is it that light and darkness are unknown?" asking Aria about it.

[Aria]

"well there are many spells that have been born from both light and darkness element while the basic elements have already reached a bottleneck in what spells to create." answering with her knowledge of magic research.

[Arc]

"can't you meld the magic to create new spells?" asking from what he knows of novels in his world describing about magic.

[Aria]

"no we have not, no everyone in the world has never ever thought about melding the magic to create new spells because everyone can only control one element!" with a shocked expression about the thought that someone could meld different element magic to create new spells.

Arc then nodded then continue to read about theories of magic as well as 101 Magic training for dummies in his hands. Aria then stood up and left the library to the temple at the central courtyard in the citadel until one of the maids stopped her and told her that the Elder was calling for her. Puzzled at what her father would summon her for she head to the council room in the upper floors. When she was at the double doors Aria knocked on the door. after a few minutes the doors open wide to reveal her father Arn citing at the far end of the room behind a U shaped table with many of his advisers and rangers seated. In front of them is a lone guardsmen and a young half elf girl who turned to see Aria when the door open up.

[Elder Arn]

"Aria you have come at the right time let me introduce you to your new guardian ranger." while waving for his daughter to come in.

the guardsmen then proceeded to introduce himself and his daughter to Aria.
