It's been 6 months now since Ace had been training under the Titan King, the training was harsh but had a lot of benefits, as he now can remove the curses that are placed on the Titan power holders. he can block the previous owner's memories and also remove the life span consuming curse. he also gained some knowledge about the Ackerman family's curse, but the king didn't go in details about it since he himself has no further knowledge about it.

In the time Ace is not Training he would teach Mikasa some moves from his past life, they are mostly about how to handle a weapon and close combat abilities, Mikasa was a quick learner, she absorbed anything he taught her like a sponge. Eren and Armin too joined them but they couldn't handle the intensity of the training, they dropped out after a month and a half, and so days passed making 6 months pass in a flash.

Ace now is in his house with Mikasa. he is sitting on the table reading some book about the history if the walls, from what he is reading he couldn't get one information out without being confused ' Like a fairy tale... this stuff is confusing ' he thought

Mikasa is preparing breakfast for them, she is humming something like a song with a smile on her face, she brought the dishes and placed them in front of Ace, she cooked Egg and made lemon juice with Bacon. this type of breakfast is luxury in this place but for Ace and Mikasa it was an everyday thing since their mother and father send them these things from the inner was every month

Ace is eating his breakfast, it was so delicious that he couldn't help and say " Mmm!! it's sooo good! Mikasa, you're the best "

Since Maria left, Mikasa tool upon her self taking care of the house, she had been practicing for a long time and hearing her work being praised filled her with happiness " Glad you enjoy it " she said with a little blush on her cheeks

Two finished their breakfast and got out of the house, they wanted to find Eren and Armin to spend some time

Ace had been aware that the date of the wall of Shiganshina breaking is near but he doesn't know the exact time, so he decided to just forget about and deal with it when it happened. he doesn't like living in constant anxiety

On their way, they met Eren

"Oi~ Eren " Ace called

"Hm! what??" replied Eren

" Where are you going?? " asked Ace

"Let's go, Mikasa, " said Ace and they followed Eren " wait up Rascal "

The Trio went to the forest and started gathering the wood, each started gathering for his own basket, but When Ace looked for Eren he saw him sleeping under a tree, he put his wood and told Mikasa to put his in his basket for him and went To Eren. He stood by his side and kicked him " Wake up princess "

Eren got up holding his side and screamed: " WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!!!"

"For nothin- " Ace stopped in the middle of his sentence and looked at Eren with strange eyes " You...Why are you crying?? "

"Ha!? I am not cryi-" Eren touched his face and his finger got wet " What is this?? " he questioned

"A..A.Anyway let's go, you are done with your stuff " said Ace, his heart is pumping like crazy ' It's time!! oh! god ' Ace realized that the wall is about to break today but he was still hoping that Eren cried from his kick

The trio backed their stuff and left to the town when they reached it they passed by the Wall guards and Hannes-san, he asked why Eren is crying and teased him. Eren started lecturing the wall guards and they should take their job more seriously. All those interactions made Ace's heart beat more furiously ' Shit!! All that is left is for the Survey Corps to come back ' he thought

And, they did, The survey corps came back, their faces were low indicating they lost quite a lot making the people criticize them. Eren got into a fight with two adults making Ace got in to save him by punching the two-man in the face

Then they left, Eren, Ace Mikasa went to their houses. Ace put the wood in the kitchen near the oven. After a while, he called for Mikasa

"What is it?" asked Mikasa

"Mikasa, I want you to hear me and pay attention. "

Mikasa nodded and sat down on a chair and looked at him to continue

" Today will be the worst day of our life, No! the worst day of all humanity. I want you to stay strong and promise me that you will survive OK?" Ace said with a heavy expression making Mikasa confused so she said " What are you talking about?! "

"There is no need to explain anything, you will realize everything today " Ace looked at her with serious eyes

Seeing his expression, even tho she didn't understand she said " OK, I promise you to survive "

Ace took a deep breath " Good "

After a while, they left the house and met up with Eren again

"Where are you going again Eren? " asked Ace

" I am looking for Armin, he was supposed to meet me here but he didn't come " replied Eren " Then let's look for him together, " said Ace

In one of the alleys, a bunch of kids are surrounding one boy " You know I am telling the truth " said Armin with a strong determination, after that training with Ace, he didn't fear to fight that much but they were more than him so he couldn't beat them " that's why you are beating me now, you didn't even bother to give me a proper answer "

"HUH?! excuse me!!" the boy wanted to hit Armin again then

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING YOU BASTARDS!!!" Eren scream came from the end of the alley as he came sprinting at them

" Oh! it's that idiot Eren "

"Let's beat the shite out of him too "

" Come he- "

" FUQ IT'S ACE!!!"

"MIKASA TOO!!!!"

"LET'S GET THE FUQ OUT OF HERE!!!"

Ace and Mikasa appeared from behind Eren, their expression is terrifying

the kids couldn't help but to run away, Mikasa alone will kill them then how can they handle her and Ace too

"they ran away as soon as they saw me. those cowards " said Eren angrily

"No! that's because of Ace and Mikasa" said Armin as he patted his clothes to remove the dirt

"You okay Armin, " asked Ace

"Yeah! I didn't get hurt that much after what you taught me " replied Armin

The 4 friends went to the river and sat there, Eren told them how his mother reacted when he told her he was going to join the survey corps

"That is natural! she fears you will die " said Armin

They kept on talking until...

*BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!! *

a loud explosion came fr behind them making the earth shake, the stood up and wondered about its source but only Ace know about its source for now as everyone will soon see it

" It's time, everything will begin now, " he thought
