《Wake up and Run》The Cabin

In a secret bunker in an unknown location, a few men wearing white ropes, each of them are busy looking at a transparent screen while taking notes and typing something on another transparent screen below the first one.
One of them said without taking his eyes off the screen, as if he was talking to himself (target No. 1 is located waiting for orders).
The response came from a large man sitting on a table at the end of the room, monitoring all the men in the room (hold and keep on standby). Then he shifted his attention to the screen in front of him, showing a scene of the young boy who is running, holding his younger sister's hand without moving his eyes from the screen. He gave another order to deploy the barrier and open the portal.
As soon as the boy saw the cabin in front of him, he suddenly stopped, realizing that his pressures would eventually catch up to them and would notice the cabin the way he did. That realization came without getting any ideas or alternatives.
Knowing very well that his sister will no longer be able to continue running and there is no other place that they can hid or what will the occupants of the cabin will do if he started knocking on the door this early in morning, will they believe him and help him and his sister, will they hand them over to the men who after them.
In those few seconds that his mind was racing and trying to come up with options that seemed like a lifetime agony, suddenly the door of the cabin opened up and a man came out, holding in his hand a circular object. He gestured with his free hand, inviting them to come in. At the same time, he threw the object he had in his hand in their direction and fell a few meters behind the boy.

Without any other alternative, the boy looked back at the object the man threw at them and held their sister firmly and went in a hurry to where the man was standing.
Thinking to himself that whatever was inside and whoever this man was, it would not be worse than what was waiting for them if the men behind them caught up to them.
A few hundred meters behind them, the man who was leading the group who were chasing the young boy and girl noticed the path leading to the cabin and saw their tracks leading to the cabin, which was now visible to him with a wide smile on his face. He sent a signal to his men to encircle the cabin from each side.
With the device in his hand, he reported to his leader, "They're hiding in the cabin in front of us." How shall we proceed? " "Do you see them?" he asked the one on the other end. "No sir, but their tracks are leading straight to it."
Proceed with the capture plan. We need only one of them to get a life. Get rid of the other one. What about any other obstacles, if there are any, sir? With a smile on his face, he proceeded to the cabin, at the same time wondering why his superior sent him on an easy mission.
He froze in place, the cabin that had been in his sight just seconds before no longer in front of him. He blinded his eyes a few times to make sure his eyes were fine. Was I hallucinating when I saw the cabin, or am I hallucinating now?
He looked around to see the puzzled team. Everyone was looking around, thinking the same thing. The ones who were waiting for their spouse to be behind the cabin were looking at where the cabin spouse was supposed to be, but all they could see was the team in front of them.Unwilling to believe his eyes the team leader went straight to where the cabin spouse to be and the rest followed him to empty space.

What is going on is it only me or thre was a cabin here talking to no one he said that and he looked at the rest of the team no one answered him but they shook their head up and down as answering to both questions with un certainly.
The sound over the radio wake him up from his thoughts (situation update)Sir .... the .... Cabin.....Disappeared.

War, Honor and Vengeance

In a world where lives are nothing more than livestock, either you rise up and rule in passion or go down in flames. Will you stay mum and accept this so-called Fate and be slaughtered by your enemies, or will you rise up. Wealth, fame, fortune, desires are not ever-lasting. Only War is eternal. Vengeance. Grey [HIATUS]
I was originally fueled by anger and disdain to write this and looking back, most of what I wrote for this story was unplanned and a bit trashy. I kinda stopped having ideas for this, so I stopped in the end. If you're looking at this right now, you probably shouldn't read this because it's only 12 crappy chapters in and yeah... Sorry to the people who might've liked this. (Maybe one day I'll continue this, but for now, I have other plans) Grey, a prince, is unsure about what to do when he starts running away from an enemy beast tamer. He's unsure on what to do now that his father, the king, is dead. In the forest alone, he'll discover a small companion and a rogue. Together will they figure a way to take back Grey's kingdom? Or will they just die in vain? Let's be honest here, most of you probably like the fox aspect of the story the most. (BTW the cover design is made by me. Terrible, I know) I'm kind of done with writing bs descriptions that I might change in the future, plus I'm not very good with being thoughtful with quotes and stuff like that. I just write what pops into my mind, which is usually stupid things. So the description may or may not be accurate so I've changed it to being very vague.

Leveling Up Is Better Than Reality
If you've ever been called a slacker, you know, it's not that you're lazy, it's just that you're not interested. Your values don't allow you to work hard as you wish to live in a heaven-like world where you don't have to do anything. As Gandhi said, ""Be the change you wish to see in the world...'' Wise words indeed. This story's about lazy- I mean an idealist hero named Zellin living in an RPG-like world. I'm going to deem this work as PG-13, but you never know...
