First, I focused on expand territory. As I started, the process came easily to me almost instinctual. I started pushing the mana out into the surrounding area and then willed what the mana saturated to be mine. Slowly but surely my field expanded. As the process continued, I started to get a better view of where I was. I seemed to be in a natural cave or volcanic vent of sort. Considering the rocky surroundings and the noxiuos fumes clinging to the ceiling. As I continued pushing my borders, I started to absorb samples of any interesting materials around me.

Wow material overload. I just started too; this is going to get complicated fast trying to keep track of all my materials and creatures. Speaking of creatures there was also quite a few critters crawling around too.

It was a great harvest. Though none of these would be much of a threat to a normal person let alone superpowered magical ones. But you got to start somewhere. But those didn’t matter much right now because I'm approaching the cave entrance. I was thinking about all the cool magical creatures and plants I was going to get once I'm outside when suddenly... BANG “OW” It felt like my face just bounced of a rubber wall. More carefully this time I pushed agents the outside barrier. Every inch I pushed it pushed back twice as hard. By the time I was mentally exhausted and couldn't go any further I only made it about a foot out the cave. “Wow that was way harder, well at least it wasn’t completely pointless.”

Well, that last one was quite interesting it seems that I'm the first to discover this new plant. It was a vine wrapped around the mango tee but the interesting thing about it along with its vicious thorns and a dozen deferent flowers blooming from it. It wasn’t hurting the small mango tree, if anything it looked healthier it... it was protecting it. I selected yes. “I name it the Deadly Lover”

I then decided to use identify on it.

*Deadly Lover: An extremely rare magic vine that will bind its self to another plant for the remainder of its life. Where it will protect and nurture its partner until the duos demises. The flowers that bloom on it correlate to the magic affinity in the air and increase it and its partners magic and vitality. Will become increasingly violent if flowers or partner are damaged*

Well, I think I just found my new favorite vine. After sitting there and thinking over a few ideas I decided that since I can't get out of the cave right now, I'll go deeper. So, I turned around and focused all my energy as it slowly trickled in to expanding deeper into the cave.
