When she saw his forced smile, her heart felt a sting as she saw him go. Her heart knew that Kuronagi didn't do it on purpose but seeing him disappear from her hands made her desperate to be with him.
Kuronagi felt warm as he wanted to hugged her but refrained from doing so. He knew that it was his fault. He was scared that she didn't want to be his friend anymore. He slowly pulled her apart as if she was rejected by him. He smiled at her.
"I don't want to hurt you any more. Thank you for being with me and good bye."
As he said that, his unique ability kicked in and he disappear. Liliana, seeing him go, kneel to the ground as ahe kept calling for his name.

He walked away as he looked back at her. She kept calling for his name as he gritted his teeth. If he were to stay with her, he would lose the dream he made. Since he was scared that she won't stay as his friend anymore, he wanted to break his relationship with her before it was too late.
