《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》Beheading

Yun Tian knew to never underestimate your enemies and to treat every enemy you meet with respect, even if they might be too weak to deserve it. So while his enemies were distracted he decided to take out the only one who could be a threat right away.
He continued in the trees until he was right above the Mid Dantian building expert. Then Yun Tian looked down and waited for the right time to attack. When the expert was in the middle of attacking the Elder from the carriage he struck.
He took out his sword and using his movement technique he jumped off the tree with all his strength. No one even knew what was happening until it was over. All they saw was a flash of light that disappeared just as quickly as it appeared and then a teen appeared next to the mid dantian building expert.
Just as they were wondering what the flash was and where Yun Tian had come from they saw the expert's head fall from his neck and the expert's body collapsing to the ground.
Everyone was stunned. The first to react was the Elder from the carriage. He while stunned sported a wary, but thankful expression and said "Thank you young hero. Do you mind helping me with the rest of the assailants?"
Yun Tian didn't mind since he had already started he may as well finish the job. So he responded "Sure I don't mind."
After that Yun Tian started to finish off the rest of the black clothed attackers. There were around fifteen of them and their strengths were only around the peak of the meridian opening realm so they were easy to finish off.
The only reason the Elder had asked Yun Tian to help was so none of them would be able to run away. What he didn't expect though was that right after he finished talking Yun Tian would disappear from his spot at a speed that he could barely grasp and behead the attackers before they could even finish reacting to their leader's death.

Just like that there were 16 heads lying on the ground all caused by Yun Tian with no help. The people from the carriage were stunned. Yun Tian was too powerful. They could accept it if it was some mysterious old expert who saved them, but Yun Tian just looked way too young.
They were at a loss for words since they could barely grasp what was happening, but the Elder didn't want to offend Yun Tian so he quickly berated "Is this how the Feng clan thanks their saviors? By standing there and gawking? Everyone came to thank him. Miss since it is safe now you come to thank him as well."
As soon as he was finished speaking, a girl in a blue dress with long black hair and gorgeous green eyes who looked like she was twenty years old came out of the carriage. At first she was timid and seeing all the heads and blood on the ground scared her more, but when she noticed everyone from her group was fine she recovered.
When she noticed her elder subtly telling her to go thank Yun Tian she, while amazed, connected the dots and realized Yun Tian had saved them. So with her regained bearing she walked up to Yun Tian and led the others to bow and thank Yun Tian for saving their lives.
Now that he was finished, he called out in the woods for Shen Yu to come over. She quickly ran over and the group was stunned thinking that there were two strong young people in front of them. They relaxed slightly though when they noticed Shen Yu didn't seem to be that strong.
What did amaze them though was Shen Yu's beauty. Shen Yu looked even better than their young miss even though she was much younger.

When he was reunited with Shen Yu Yun Tian was ready to settle everything. So he started to talk with the people from the carriage. Before he even said anything though he heard the Elder say "Gather everything from their bodies and give it to our benefactor."
Seeing how tactful and grateful the Elder was made Yun Tian happy he saved them.
The Elder personally brought the spatial bag and sword from the dead mid dantian building expert to Yun Tian. The guards and servants quickly looted the bodies for all they had and brought it to Yun Tian. At first the elder thought Yun Tian would put everything into the spatial bag he just got, but he was slightly surprised when Yun Tian put everything into a different spatial bag.
He put everything into the spatial bag he got as a gift since it was empty and had a lot of room while he hadn't checked the others he got yet. He checked everything they brought to him. The dead assailants didn't have much with them besides their weapons which besides the early spirit grade sword from the mid dantian building expert weren't worth very much.
Some of them had qi gathering pills adding up to ten of them and some money. They didn't have much on them, but Yun Tian knew there would be more in the expert's spatial bag so he wasn't too worried about them not having much on them.
He also didn't think they were hiding loot from him since he made sure to pay attention while they were looting the bodies. Even though he just helped these people it was best to always be wary of strangers. The only reason he called for Shen Yu right now was because he believed he could protect her if they decided to attack.
After he finished putting everything away the Elder and the girl introduced themselves to him. They told him their names were Feng Shi and Feng Mei. They asked for Yun Tian's name, but right when he was about to reply Shen Yu interrupted him.
She said "Our names are Li Yu and Li Hao."
Yun Tian wondered why she had lied, but then he remembered that they had just run away from the Yun clan and their names might cause them to be found if they were pursued. He once again praised her for thinking ahead and thought to praise her later.
After hearing their names Feng Mei seemed to get happier all of a sudden and said with an alluring tone while showing off her body "Young hero must be tired from travelling and battle. Why don't you travel with us to the next town?"
Yun Tian was caught slightly off guard by her tone, but Shen Yu only got upset and said in an irritated tone "We are okay travelling by ourselves thank you very much though."

Keepers of the Neeft
The Indigo Empire has conquered half the world’s nations, their people, and their gods. According to its citizens, old and new, the rest of the world will follow. In the capital of the Throne-home, the Imperial Academy produces the next generation of great leaders to drive that expansion. Cadryn Bence knows he will be one such leader, he’s overcome his common birth, mixed heritage, and every other obstacle to be the top of his class. He dreams of glory on the southern front against the Gravanik States. He will not be finding it. Instead, if the glory he expects. Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. Through the machinations of the Emperor’s state religion, and a cult within it, Cadryn will find himself on his way to this first assignment. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
