He was surprised though when Bolin looked at him as if he completely understood the intent he was trying to convey. It seemed his intelligence had greatly increased.

The wolf howled and then approached Yun Tian as if saying ready when you are.

Yun Tian said to Shen Yu “Okay I will be back. Hopefully I can break through when I come back.”

Shen Yu replied “Be safe Dage and Bolin.”

Bolin barked in response and then it looked at the other wolves. It barked at them saying things Yun Tian and Shen Yu couldn’t understand.

Yun Tian felt like he slightly understood though when the rest of the wolves quickly circled around and stuck to Shen Yu.

‘He told them to stay close to and protect Shen Yu. It seems like my gut was right to trust them.’

With that Yun Tian and Yun Bolin sped off into the forest.

Once they left Yun Tian told Bolin “Go at your fastest speed in the direction of stronger demonic beasts. I will keep up.”

Once he said that Bolin sped up and started to go incredibly fast. Yun Tian could keep up but he thought ‘This speed is incredible. Based on the speeds of the demonic beasts I have seen so far he is at least faster than most new demonic beasts in the same realm. I really should find out more about demonic beasts later.’

Yun Tian used his crane flight skill to keep up. He had already reached mastering form through his use of it. By travelling at these extreme speeds he had started to get a better grasp of it.

He already had understanding of many other skills that made understanding this skill easier.

Bolin travelled on the ground and he jumped through the trees only jumping off the tree branches occasionally. It was almost like he was flying. He felt he had reached grasping spirit with the skill.

They travelled for a while and quickly reached the range of the areas they hunted in previously.

Bolin stopped and turned to look at Yun Tian. They still could not effectively communicate with each other. For some reason though Yun Tian felt he could sense some kind of hunger or battle intent coming out his yellow eyes.

It was almost like they were blazing with fire. Yun Tian said “You can find a newly advanced demonic beast to test yourself.”

With that Yun Tianfelt like he felt a thank you from Bolin and then Bolin quickly started to look around for any demonic beasts. Yesterday they had killed many demonic beasts so he had to follow tracks and use his sense of smell to find a new one.

It was actually very quick though. Yun Tian saw Bolin pick up a scent and chased after it. He saw the excitement in Bolin’s eyes as he sprinted as if his life depended on it.

He sped up just the same to follow him. He also looked at the tracks on the ground and noticed that they seem to be from a bear.

He thought ‘That must be why he got so excited. He wants to fight the same species of creature that almost killed him before.

With their speed they very quickly found a cave and they stopped outside it.

‘Is he going to try and sneak attack it?’

What he expected didn’t happen though as the wolf howled in the air as if announcing its presence.

Hearing Bolin a bear that looked very similar to the bear that Yun Tian saved Bolin from before came out. Bolin’s eyes glowed even more seeing it was the same type of bear.

The bear itself was on guard looking around as soon as it came out of the cave. It looked around and only saw Bolin since Yun Tian was hidden in the trees close by. Seeing that it was just Bolin it calmed down, but still looked wary. It was common for wolves to be in packs.

Even if it was wary since Bolin was challenging him he had to respond.

The bear unleashed its own ferocious roar with flames coming out of its mouth as well. Seeing the bear Bolin did not get scared and instead prepared for battle.

Yun Tian watched all of this from the trees. He thought ‘This is a good chance to see his strength. Hopefully he doesn’t get hurt. I will jump in if he is in danger.’

The bear stayed there trying to be imposing as Bolin walked around it trying to find an opening. By there statures you could tell who had greater brute strength so Bolin knew he needed to rely on his speed and cunning.

The bear didn’t give him any chances though and kept his eyes on Bolin.

Bolin circled around him and finally got impatient. He could tell from the bear that he wouldn’t try attacking anytime soon and knew Yun Tian was waiting for him. He didn’t want to disappoint him or make him wait.

He sped up and quickly dashed all around the bear to try and make him lose sight of him before he attacked.

This plan in fact did work. The bear quickly could not keep up with his speed. When the bear lost track of him Bolin raced around behind him. Then, Bolin jumped and ripped off one of his arms.

Seeing how easy it was Bolin dropped the arm and howled at the skies. By now the bear was horrified. It even tried to run away, but that was obviously a mistake since it couldn’t run away from Bolin and just made him die faster.

He immediately caught up and leaped at it. He latched onto it with his claws and ripped apart its throat then jumped off it again. He was much more brutal than Yun Tian who could easily instantly behead his enemies. He stood in front of it as it squirmed for a while and then laid lifelessly on the ground.

Bolin howled announcing his victory.

Yun Tian had stored away the bear’s arm and then followed them when they left. He appeared next to Bolin and threw the arm at the corpse.

He looked at Bolin who looked triumphant. He was happy about how strong he was so he said “Wow I didn't expect you to be that strong.”

Bolin looked smug when he heard that.

Yun Tian also thought in his mind though ‘The matchup was also good for him though since the bear just couldn’t keep up with his speed or defend himself. Either way his strength is crazy.’

“Okay for the corpse though I think it would be better if we give it to the others and you take the demonic beast core. How about that?”

Bolin thought for a moment and looked like he agreed. He dug into the corpse and swallowed the demonic beast core.
