Shen Yu obviously did not do this though and continued to watch on without disturbing him.

She continued to watch amazed as she felt the pressure generated by him becoming increasingly stronger.

She wasn’t the only one astonished though.

After he broke through and his qi was refined he felt just how strong he had become. It was so much stronger than he imagined.

The feeling of breaking through was wonderful, but he didn’t let this get to his head and instead continued to absorb the energy within the demonic core into his dantian.

He had absorbed most of it during his breakthrough, but what was left would still be good enough for him to consolidate his breakthrough.

He continued to absorb the demonic qi which was refined in his dantian and he felt his cultivation becoming increasingly more firm as more qi was stored in his dantian.

When he broke through, his qi was refined into a denser higher quality qi and some of that was then absorbed into his dantian’s structure.

This however depleted a large amount of his qi. The rest of the qi in the demonic core was exactly what he needed and he became increasingly happier as he saw his dantian filling with q once again.

His dantian was nowhere near being full again, in fact compared to the size of his newly enhanced dantian the amount inside it didn’t even fill up a quarter, but he knew that he had grown much stronger.

He finished up all the qi in the demonic core and exhaled a breath.

He opened his previously closed eyes and upon seeing this Shen Yu asked “You finished and okay?”

Yun Tian excitedly said “Yes I have reached mid dantian building.”

Hearing that Shen Yu could no longer sit still as she jumped up to hug him and they basked in their joy while laying on the bed for a moment.

Yun Tian asked her “How long was I cultivating for?”

Shen Yu looked outside the window and realized that it had been a long time. She hadn’t realized it since she was only paying attention to Yun Tian and he was immersed with his breakthrough.

It was morning when he started and by the look of the sun the sky outside it had been a couple of hours.

“I don’t know exactly how long, but I guess a couple hours.”

“The time doesn’t matter though. How does it feel to have broken through? Anything abnormal?”

Yun Tian responded with what he felt right now as he put one finger up“One word…”

“Strong!”

“As for anything wrong…”

He tried sensing for anything wrong with his body for a moment and since he felt nothing wrong along with the breakthrough going great he said “Nothing seems to be wrong. In fact everything is great.”

Hearing his words the slight worry still within Shen Yu vanished and she cried while hitting him “You have no idea how worried I was! I could see the look of anguish on your face while absorbing the core.”

“You scared me!”

Yun Tian let her get this out of her system and then said “I told you I would be fine didn’t I?”

She retorted “Says the person who wanted me to stay far away.”

Yun Tian wiped away her tears and said “With this I am much stronger now and we know that I can keep on breaking through without too much trouble now.”

Shen Yu murmured in agreement and continued to hug him.

“What do you say we go eat? I think I might have scared Auntie Yu earlier by telling her she couldn’t come upstairs. Also, now that my injuries are gone and I have broken through we should leave tomorrow.”

“How about we surprise the two of them with my strength at dinner?”

Shen Yu still only murmured in agreement while clinging onto him.

Seeing that Shen Yu was not moving Yun Tian couldn’t help, but say “Shen Yu if we are going to go downstairs you have to get up first. I could carry you too if you want.”

Hearing this Shen Yu reluctantly got up and her expression lightened up again.

She said “How about we spend the rest of the day with Auntie Yu and her daughter then.”

Shen Yu both wanted to spend time with them as thanks and have Yun Tian rest since she knew if he had another choice he would probably go right back to cultivating.

Yun Tian thought it was fine to spend time with them as thanks since it was doubtful if they would ever see eachother again after they left.

Thus he said “Sure, why not? Let’s go then.”

With that they both left the room and went downstairs.

They saw no one inside, but noticed Ming Yu and her daughter outside while she was doing laundry.

Seeing this Shen Yu called out “Auntie Yu can I help you with that?”

Hearing this call Ming Yu was surprised since she thought they would be in their room the whole day while it had only been a few hours.

She still said back though “No, I am almost done in fact.”

Hearing this Shen Yu instead asked “Auntie Yu have you had lunch yet?”

She replied “No not yet I was going to make some food after I was done with this.”

Shen Yu smiled and said “Just take a rest then we will make lunch for everyone.”

Hearing this both Ming Yu and Yu Tian were surprised.

Shen Yu saw this and gave him a sharp look to which he said “Yes Auntie leave it to us.”

Ming Yu said “Okay thank you then, I will leave it to you. You should know where everything is since you have helped me multiple times already and if you don’t just ask.”

After that Shen Yu dragged Yun Tian to the kitchen while Ming Yu played with her daughter outside.

In the kitchen Shen Yu said “Come on I’ll show you where everything is.”

Shen Yu just wanted to make the food together with him and spend time together.
