Hearing what Yun Tian said Feng Mei was delighted and asked “Would you like to visit the clan now instead then?”

She was happy he remembered them and wanted to make ties with him.

Hearing this Yun Tian said “I kind of had plans already today though.”

With this Yun Tian turned around to look at Wu Chen and Ming Yu.

At this, the rest of the people in the restaurant were once again stunned. He had refused an invitation to visit the Feng clan personally coming from the Feng clan’s young miss.

The couple themselves were happy seeing that he didn’t just forget about them even when the Feng clan invited him to go with them.

Even though this was the case Ming Yu still said “We have kept you for long enough. The three of us had a lot of fun. Don’t worry about us. Go do what you want to do.”

Wu Chen also nodded and said “I know you would rather be doing other things.”

Instead of immediately agreeing he turned to look at Shen Yu.

Seeing him look at her she thought for a moment and said “We have had enough fun already. If we get things done quicker we can reunite with Bolin and the others quicker.”

She had not forgotten about the wolves. Yun Tian hadn’t either, but he trusted Bolin so he wasn’t worried.

At this Yun Tian bowed to the couple and said “Thank you for helping us and being so kind to us.”

Shen Yu followed him and did the same.

At this everyone in the room showed weird expressions. They wondered just who was great enough to receive thanks from the people who the Feng clan was thanking.

When they thanked the couple though Wu Chen said “We didn’t even provide you any help though.”

Shen Yu said in response “It was the thought that counts.”

Yun Tian continued “Your genuine kindness was the greatest gift you could give us. We will meet again if fate wills it.”

Yun Tian had previously thought that phrase was pretentious, but now he thought the phrase fit the situation. From now on he would either die or continue to grow stronger, while this family was composed of ordinary people who would live simple lives.

The couple wished them well and told them to take care of themselves and then excused themselves.

When they left Yun Tian took out the clothes Ming Yu bought from his spatial bag and that shocked everyone who saw this except for those who already knew his strength.

He gave her the clothes and once more bid them farewell. So did Shen Yu.

Shen Yu was genuinely grateful to them for showing so much kindness to her and Yun Tian. She almost cried when they left.

Yun Tian had similar thoughts. ‘While there is bad in the world, there is similarly good.’

This thought actually subtly changed the way he viewed things and he felt something stir within him. He only had the feeling for a moment so he couldn’t tell what it was. Since he could not figure out what happened he moved on for now. There were too many things he didn’t know.

After this incident, he turned around to look at the group from the Feng clan and said “Let me pay for our meal and then we can leave.”

Hearing this Feng Mei said “Oh don’t worry about that we will handle that.”

With that she asked one of her servants to go pay for the meal who quickly did.

The only thing Yun Tian took note of from this action is that she was being courteous and did not feel grateful at all. Money used by normal people meant nothing to him.

He still kept his guard up against these people. While he had saved their lives, just like he thought earlier there were evil people in the world. He couldn’t judge them based on acts that had virtually no cost on their part.

Feng Mei then said “Shall we go to my clan then?”

Yun Tian said “Sure, lead the way.”

With that Yun Tian, Shen Yu, Feng Mei, and Feng Shi walked in the lead with the servants behind. They were in fact not far from the Feng clan and quickly got there in a few minutes.

The place was very large and there was enough space for over three hundred different courtyards.

It reminded him of the Yun clan he lived in before. Shen Yu also had similar thoughts so both of their faces got a little gloomier.

Seeing their moods dip, Feng Mei immediately worriedly asked “Is something wrong?”

Yun Tian said “Everything is fine.”

Then he turned to Shen Yu and whispered “Forget about it. What does that place matter to us anymore. We have each other now and that’s enough.”

Shen Yu nodded her head and held his hand. Yun Tian compiled with her since he also felt uncomfortable still.

Right now he had a prejudice against all clans. He wouldn’t have come here if not for the information he wanted and the reward they promised him.

Feng Mei was still a little worried, but decided to bring them quickly inside to dispel whatever was bothering them.

They reached the gate and upon seeing them the disciples saluted with their fists and said “Greetings Young Miss and Elder.”

If it was others bringing people into the clan, they may have questioned who those people were, but since it was Feng Mei and an Elder they didn’t have the authority or the guts.

With that their group walked into the clan and those who they met along the war saluted respectfully.

As they were walking Feng Mei asked suddenly “Young hero, may I ask if you would like us to hide your identity at all. My father wanted to have a party in your honor. Of course if you wanted we could keep your identity completely a secret.”

This actually made Yun Tian like them more since this would be something that he might actually be grateful for if he wanted it and they did it.

He still said though “People will probably find out about me and my strength sooner or later so it doesn’t really matter. You don’t have to hide my identity at all, but at the same time don’t go advertising all over town about me please.”

Feng Mei understood what he meant so she said “Of course” and continued to lead him to her fathers residence.
