Hearing this surprise and suspicion flickered in the eyes of most of the Chen clan members. While they were told that the killer was young, they didn’t think he would be this young.
Yun Tian didn’t wait for them to do something first as he asked the late dantian building expert “Are you the Chen clan leader?”
Hearing this he nodded and said “Yes, my name is Chen Long and I am the Chen clan’s leader.”
He was the one most suspicious of this situation. If Yun Tian was truly the one who killed their elder then why did he show up here?
Thus he asked “Are you really the one who killed Chen Hu?”
Yun Tian responded with a face that showed no emotion as he shook his head and said “I don’t know about any Chen Hus…”
The first part of his sentence made them wonder why this kid was messing around. One of them was about to tell Yun Tian to run off, but his words got stuck in his throat hearing the rest of what Yun Tian said.
“However I did happen to cut off the head of a mid dantian building expert of the Chen clan. Oh yeah, that corpse looks pretty familiar. Yeah that’s the guy I killed.”
Hearing the rest made the Chen clan members fume. Some wanted to attack Yun Tian immediately even if he wasn’t the real killer. His words alone were enough for them to want to kill him.
Chen Long stopped them though and asked “If you are in fact the person who killed Chen Hu, why are you here right now?”
“Why else would I come here? I heard you calling for me and so I thought why not go steal those guys' resources since they are after me anyway?”

Hearing this, even Chen Long couldn’t take it anymore and decided to test Yun Tian out.
“Elder Bo, you go deal with him. Be careful though.”
With that an early dantian building elder took out his sword from his spatial bag and walked towards Yun Tian.
Seeing that he was being tested, Yun Tian didn’t even take out his sword.
Instead he said “Back up a little Shen Yu. Not too far though.”
He wouldn’t make the same mistake he did with the Grand Elder where he was too far away from Shen Yu to protect her. Right now he trusted his strength to bring her away if they decided to go after her so he didn’t mind her being here with him. She just had to stay close.
Seeing that Yun Tian still just stood there without making any moves the Elder approached him, but still did not let down his guard. He trusted his clan leader’s warning and he felt that Yun Tian was dangerous.
When he was close enough to Yun Tian, he tried to catch him off guard by using his movement technique and attacking him quickly.
He dashed towards Yun Tian and tried to stab him with his sword. After his lunging attack there was a grunting noise and then both Yun Tian and the Elder didn’t move. Yun Tian was completely blocked from their view by the Elder’s figure.
At this Chen Long narrowed his eyes.
Chen Long didn’t know it, but behind him Feng Bao was smiling in anticipation of what happened next.
‘That kid could be stronger than us. What do you think that Elder of yours can accomplish?’
Feng Bao only thought this and continued to watch the situation play out.
“Elder Bo, are you alright.” Chen Long called out.

At this moment Chen Bo was blasted backwards and crashed into the Feng clan’s wall causing debris and dust to fly everywhere. When the dust cleared they saw an unconscious Chen Bo lying there.
When they looked back at Yun TIan, they saw him still standing there just like before, but now he was holding Chen Bo’s spatial bag and low spirit grade sword.
When Chen Bo attacked him, he dodged the sword attack by a small margin and instead grabbed him by the neck with speed he could not react to. Then he took his spatial bag along with his sword.
After that he let go of his grip and kicked him into the wall where he fell unconscious.
Looking at Yun Tian standing there unharmed, those who did not know his strength previously were stunned, while Chen Long adopted a grim expression.
‘It seems this kid is quite strong. I have to figure out how strong he is exactly though.’
What Yun Tian said next made him even more confused.
“Just like what happened just now, feel free to come challenge me. If you win, you can have my life. If I win, I get everything you have on you, but you can keep your life.”
Hearing this an Early dantian building Elder who was unconvinced and wanted to try to kill Yun Tian said “Let me try clan leader.”
With that he took a step towards Yun Tian and seeing that his clan leader wasn’t stopping him, he continued on.
Instead of speeding up at the last moment like the last Elder, he took out his sword and instantly deployed his movement technique. He sped towards Yun Tian crossing the space in between them extremely quickly.
Once he got close though, instead of using a sword skill to attack, he threw his sword at Yun Tian and followed it up with a fist skill.
Yun Tian still just casually dodged the sword and instead of trying to block the fist he grabbed the Elder’s arm mid attack and threw him over his shoulder head first at the ground.
He crashed into the ground and created a small pit. Seeing what happened Chen Long’s expression turned even more serious. This time he got a clear look at just how effortlessly Yun Tian dealt with his opponent and what he saw made him worry.
Seeing what Yun Tian did, the Chen clan members wanted to rush forward and help their Elder, but Chen Long stopped them saying “He lost the challenge. As long as this young man follows the agreement so will we.”

Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do.
