Distracted by pain and fear the alligator was much clumsier letting Yun Tian have an even easier time this go around.

He managed to dodge right around the jaws coming at him and knocked it away using his great bodily strength through a cloud palm. Afterwards, he used his speed to chase and finished it off with one more swing of his sword before it could get back on its feet.

Its large head with its mouth full of sharp teeth separated from the rest of its body and fell to the ground with a thud.

All this time, the wild beast realm alligators had been chasing after him still. When he killed the mid stage demonic beast realm alligator though, they all stopped and looked at him stunned. Then, they immediately turned around and tried to retreat back to the swamp.

Yun Tian looked past them at the swamp and saw nothing else coming after him. Even though he killed off one of the demonic alligators, he had shown his great strength. The others did not want to risk coming out to fight him, even to try and save one of their own. They would rather keep their advantage in the water.

Especially, since Yun Tian had shown he was trying to get them out of the water and he could back up his plan with strength.

Since that was the case, he decided to finish off all the wild beast realm alligators.

He stored away the demonic alligator's corpse and then started to kill the weaker ones one by one. They were far enough away from the swampy waters by now for him to kill them all with his speed.

And, it seemed that the rest of the stronger alligators were dead set on making him come into the water to fight. So, he would not let these alligators make it back into the water and make it harder for himself in the future fight.

He used his great speed and the alligators collapsed one by one with their heads separated from their body. After he killed a few, he heard a loud bellow along with spotting a large alligator surfacing above the water. It was huge and with its size he mistook at as a dinosaur from earth instead of an alligator

It was the late stage demonic beast realm alligator and it was mad. It was threatening him and telling him not to kill anymore.

‘It must have wanted to hide and not let me know it was in there before. It must really want these guys to survive.’

He obviously just ignored it and continued to kill the alligators one by one. The alligators in the swamp continued to bellow to try to scare him, but he did not stop. Eventually, he stopped and smiled as he turned to look at the many alligator corpses behind him.

The ones in the swamp still were not coming out so he went back and stored away each one.

Then, he came back to the edge of the swamp and looked out into the waters. All of the demonic beast realm alligators were submerged in the water once again.

His senses were very sharp and he could even vaguely sense things around him, but these alligators turned out to be very good at masking their presences in the water with how murky it was.

If he wanted to kill them, he would have to either use himself as bait, or dive into the water and search himself.

He thought about his options and ultimately decided he could handle it. He had grown even stronger after his last session of cultivation.

As long as he was careful he figured he would be fine. Also, if he was careful all the time, he would be too afraid to take on challenges in the future. Yun Tian knew that everything always involved a certain amount of risk.

Therefore, it was better to get stronger now while he still could. Especially when he knew he had a high chance of coming out on top.

He hyped himself before he came up with a plan.

‘They already know I am quite strong. With the level of cautiousness they have shown, they will probably work together to try and kill me. There will be multiple opponents and they will have the advantage in the water. Oh well! Let’s do this!’

As for breathing underwater, he could already go without taking another breath of air for a long time before he broke through to dantian building. Now, his body and cultivation had been greatly strengthened. So, he could go without breathing for an even longer time now.

He didn’t go all in immediately though and instead leaped to a piece of land poking out of the water. Nothing attacked so he waited. He noticed several of them gathering closer to him, but none attacked.

He cursed inwardly and then got ready to go to them since they would not come for him.

He noticed the movements of those that came close to him, but he couldn’t tell what they’re strengths were. His only option was to choose one at random and go for it then.

He stayed on the piece of land and deployed all his strength ready to make a dive for one of them.

He strengthened his limbs with demonic qi and launched himself at an angle towards the alligator he had decided to go after.

He made it into the water just fine, but the water was quite murky and obscured his senses somewhat. Still with his powerful senses he made out the figure he was moving towards. It was the same size as the alligator he had killed earlier. This made him think, ‘Jackpot,’ inwardly.

He wanted to kill off all the mid stage alligators first since the late stage one would probably take more than one attack.

He slowed down slightly when going through the water, but his speed from launching himself was sufficient to let him reach his target without any of the other figures around being able to stop him.

His target was not defenceless though. It reacted in time and swung its tail at Yun Tian.
