《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》End of Three Weeks

Yun Tian recovered quickly from his injuries with the help of the demonic core in his chest and the other that he was holding and absorbing qi from.
Afterwards, when he felt the strength running through his body, he felt ecstatic. His body’s strength had greatly increased after recovering and going through so many battles.
Shen Yu held him and kept a close eye the entire time, even though it took hours for him to recover. She just held onto him, completely focused on taking care of him, even if she couldn’t do much, other than holding him.
Still, she just felt happy as she watched the wounds on his body closing and him regaining his vigorous appearance.
When Yun Tian opened his eyes, she said, “So, what happened?”
Yun Tian then went on to explain to her about all the fights he went through without holding anything back at all. He didn’t lie and say he used all he had. He told her the truth that he held back and put himself in a dangerous situation just to train.
Shen Yu was already used to him stubbornly cultivating nonstop to grow stronger. But, this was something completely different.
After hearing everything, Shen Yu couldn’t help but say, with teary eyes: “What would have happened if you couldn’t handle it and died? What would have happened, if you weren’t able to recover first and the last group of gorillas came back sooner? What about if you ran into a peak stage demonic beast in your injured condition? You didn’t need to take these risks right?”
Yun Tian knew that she was partially right. He could slow down and not take as many risks, but he still stubbornly said, “You know I find great joy in becoming stronger. But what I really think about is, what if something happens to you later because I didn’t grow strong enough fast enough? I won’t let something happen to you just like Mom and Dad.”

Then, he turned and grabbed her into his embrace.
Yun Tian’s words made Shen Yu choke and she didn’t know what to say next.
She just held onto him and finally said, “Tian, I know you want to protect me, but you can’t do that if you die. And, you know what I want most? For you to live and be happy. If something happened to you...”
Yun Tian cut her off saying: “Nothing will happen to either of us. We are going to get revenge and then we can live happy lives just like Mom and Dad wanted for us.”
They stayed there for a while longer and Shen Yu actually fell asleep in his embrace. It was already nighttime and she had spent a lot of time and effort cultivating, hoping to reach dantian building just one second faster. In his embrace, she felt the most comfort.
Yun Tian let her down and prepared to move onto the last thing he had planned besides cultivating, training his sword skills and Deadly Flash.
While he had already used Deadly Flash with both his killing intent and ferocity many times, he wanted to perfect his usage of it and see if he could make it even stronger.
He went some distance from Shen Yu and took out a sword to start his training. As for the wolves, they were currently training around the area.
After he took out his sword, he swung it once with just the normal deadly flash filled with killing intent. Then, he performed the skill once again without pouring any killing intent within the strike.
He felt the difference and summed up within his mind, ‘By combining killing intent into the skill, it increases the sharpness and speed.’
Then he swung once more with ferocity combined in the mix.

This strike was fast and strong.
He did not know how else to describe it. He felt that both ferocity and killing intent just made the skill deadlier and made it stronger. As for why he was able to use them like this, he wasn’t so sure. On Earth there wasn’t even cultivation, besides in novels.
As for this world, he wasn’t sure how things worked. He read about things like intents in cultivation novels and figured this world should be similar to what he read before. Especially as he formed warrior’s intent through battles.
He couldn’t quite see these intents, but he could feel them inside him, empowering him when he used them.
He swung his sword many times, but eventually decided the best way to improve would be to use it in battles. But at the same time, the skill was so deadly that he killed even late stage demonic beasts quickly. He didn’t know if he was ready for peak stage demonic beasts though.
He just decided he would try to train it however he could for now.
So, he just continued to train and soon the time they spent there reached three weeks.
He was moving through the forest with Wolf’s lightning and he flashed once more, appearing back at their resting area.
Just as he returned, he noticed something. He looked at Bolin and saw that the wolf appeared to be close to breaking through. Bolin had switched to absorbing mid stage demonic cores recently and he was able to handle them with a little effort. While it took him a long time to absorb each one, it appeared that it was enough to push him over the edge.
Yun Tian felt the qi inside the wolf fluctuating and that he was close to reaching mid stage demonic beast realm.
He got near Bolin, where the rest were also waiting to see if he was successful in his breakthrough.
He felt the Wolf’s aura spike as his body spasmed with the great strength running through it.
They all waited in anticipation to see if the wolf would be fine.
Bolin groaned and then howled at the sky as Yun Tian felt he qi around and within Bolin calm down.
Shen Yu didn’t know if he succeeded or failed but she was relieved as saw that he was fine. She could only ask, “Did he succeed?”
Yun Tian was currently feeling the strong aura the wolf gave off after entering the mid stage demonic beast realm. He felt Bolin was already stronger than any other mid stage demonic beast he had seen.
Hearing Shen Yu’s question he smiled and said, “Yes, he succeeded.”
After his words, Bolin howled to announce his joy and the other wolves followed.

A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.

A man reincarnated to a world where cultivation ruled supreme. One were even practices like human cauldrons and dual cultivation was commonplace and a part of the culture. What was not commonplace was treating these cauldrons with any ounce of respect or affection. These cauldrons were like pills or potions to be used and consumed or thrown away. They were often just a stepping stone in one's immortal path. One man thought, "What if they were my immortal path." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My chinese knowledge is limited to wuxia/xianxia books and cultivator games and I will only follow it loosely, I have my own cultivation system which will be basis for this story The reason I am writing this is because I have yet to find a dual cultivation story that has something I really wanted to read.
