Yun Tian felt the qi within his demonic core become restless as the breakthrough process began. His qi was condensing, becoming purer and stronger. Some of it was absorbed into his demonic core enlarging and strengthening its structure once more.

Some also spread throughout his body refining it once more and eliminating any impurities or hidden injuries he had. The breakthrough process took a while and he had to endure great pain as the qi spread throughout his body refining it and strengthening it.

The wolves and Shen Yu watched on and saw that he was enduring pain. This time though, Yun Tian stayed conscious relying on his willpower and endured the pain completely.

He felt each painful sensation as the demonic qi travelled throughout his body and made it stronger, while he grit his teeth in anguish. He also continued to hold onto the demonic core in his hand absorbing more demonic qi into his demonic core. The qi was then refined and his demonic qi strengthened even more and grew in quantity.

During the breakthrough process his ability to absorb qi seemed to be greatly strengthened as he quickly drained the demonic core in his hands. When this happened, he grabbed one of the cores he had prepared in advance and started to absorb the qi from it as well.

The qi within it was then quickly absorbed and refined just like the other. So, he picked up another.

The wolves and Shen Yu stared aghast at this. They were used to him going through resources quickly, but these were late stage demonic cores he was using. They contained a very large amount of powerful energy.

He started to quickly absorb the qi from one demonic core after another. He was going through the demonic cores quickly. As he was doing this, he felt an even greater pain as more qi travelled through and refined his body.

He also felt even greater pressure on his mind as he struggled to absorb and control all the qi entering his body.

Even though he was using late stage demonic cores quickly and he was enduring all this, he was not upset at all. In fact, he was ecstatic as he watched more and more demonic qi build up in his demonic core and be refined.

Even with his great ability to use resources quickly, he would not be able to absorb a late stage demonic core this quickly usually. And he felt that each one he absorbed was also having a great effect on him and improving his foundation.

Eventually, he went through a total of ten late stage demonic cores after the breakthrough process started when he felt the agitated qi within him start to calm down. He started to absorb the eleventh core as he felt the absorption process slow down and return to normal. The pain he was enduring also slowly went away as the extreme refinement of his body slowly stopped.

He sighed as he felt his strength no longer explosively increasing, but then he became happy once more as felt his new gains. His body was now unbelievably strong. He felt that he could now have a brawl similar to the one against the gorillas before, except now he thought that he could even handle it even if they were all late stage gorillas.

Besides this, he smiled as he looked at the inside of his demonic core. It had grown larger and the qi within had been purified and refined, becoming much stronger. Even though this was the case, it was still around three tenths full. The last time he broke through, his demonic core was only filled up about one tenth at the end.

This time, his qi was refined once more and used to strengthen the structure of his demonic core and body as well. But, he was also able to continuously absorb more qi during the process at an extreme rate, which allowed him to have much more qi within at the end of this breakthrough and he felt his strength grow much more than last time. It also greatly shortened the time he would need to spend cultivating to absorb more demonic cores.

He was now extremely thankful for practicing warrior’s intent and strengthening his will and endurance. Since, it helped him to endure the pain and stay conscious.

Eventually, after he was done feeling the new power flowing through him, he opened his eyes.

Shen Yu and the wolves were still tense since he had stayed there unmoving even after he stopped cultivating. They were pretty sure he had already succeeded, but they still just continued to wait without disturbing him.

As he opened his Shen Yu couldn't help but immediately ask, “How did it go? Any problems? Are you okay?”

At her barrage of questions, Yun Tian laughed loudly and said aloud, “I feel great! It went great! Everything is great!”

Shen Yu snickered after hearing this and said back, “Great!”

Yun Tian decided to play along and with greater speed than he was ever able to before, he appeared next to her and snatched her up into a princess hold where he asked, “Are you mocking me?”

Shen Yu was disoriented for a moment at his speed and then she laughed saying, “Yes, yes I was.”

They had their moment joking around and being playful for a few seconds, when they remembered they were not the only ones there. The wolves howled and crowded around to congratulate him.

They could feel his new strength much better than Shen Yu. Even if they could not tell exactly how strong he had grown, they could still tell that his strength had grown immeasurably and they were extremely happy for him.

Yun Tian, Shen Yu, and the wolves let go of cultivating or training for a while and relaxed for a few hours. After all, today was an extremely joyous day as both Yun Tian and Bolin had broken through and become stronger.

Afterwards, Yun Tian started to have a serious talk with Bolin.
