《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》Visiting The Spirit Market Once More

With the way Yun Tian was acting, Wu Bai was stunned for a moment and broke out laughing. He had been nervous before Yun Tian got here. After hearing everything he had done so far, especially Chu Hong’s own account, he was wondering what to do if Yun Tian came here and demanded for everything he had.
Now though, he calmed down and laughed before saying: “Haha. I like your spirit, young man. Alright, I have three high grade qi gathering pills on me right now. I was going to use them for my own cultivation, but if you have anything that might change my mind I don’t mind giving them to you.”
Hearing this, although it was only three, Yun Tian was happy and said, “How about a late stage demonic beast’s demonic core.”
Wu Bai didn’t agree immediately, saying: “Normally a cultivator would jump at that deal, but it would take me time to do anything with that demonic core. Whereas the pills are ready for me right away. How about two instead of one.”
Just like any good business man he used words that made at least some amount of sense and explained why he should get a better price.
Yun Tian thought what he said was right and didn’t really mind since he urgently wanted more high grade qi gathering pills.
Thus, he just said, “That works for me. Here you go then.”
With that Yun Tian took out two orbs filled with great energy that made those around palpitate.
Wu Bai did not make him wait and quickly handed over a bottle filled with three pills. Yun Tian wouldn’t just take his word for it and opened the bottle to inspect them saying: “I have not actually inspected any high grade qi gathering pills before.”

While this was true, Wu Bai saw through the main reason he was doing this and commended him inwardly.
Yun Tian held the pill in his hand for the first time and felt the great amount of qi contained within.
Still, his face crumpled slightly as he thought, ‘Just how many do I need to collect before my breakthrough with my dantian.’
When he broke through with his demonic core he went through many late stage demonic cores during the process. While a high grade qi gathering pill held large amounts of qi within, it was not even close to a late stage demonic core.
The others saw his face become sour and Wu Bai exclaimed, “Is something wrong with the pill?”
Yun Tian realized that he might have worried them and immediately said, “No, no, there is nothing wrong with it. I was merely thinking about some other things.”
Since he confirmed it was a high grade qi gathering pill as it definitely contained much more qi than a mid grade one, he put it back in the bottle before closing it once more and putting it in his spatial bag.
Then he said, “Thank you for the pills. You wouldn’t happen to have any high spirit grade swords here, would you? Or even high grade skills?”
These were the only things he was lacking besides cultivation resources.
Hearing this Wu Bai flashed an apologetic smile and said, “No, just like I only had those three pills for my use, we don’t have much here. If you want more and better things you will have to find a spirit market in a bigger town or city.”
Yun Tian’s mind raced at that.
‘He seems to know some things about the Spirit Market. I don’t think I should ask any questions about it though.’

So, he just asked instead, “What about a mid spirit grade sword?”
Hearing that Wu Bai’s face brightened and he said with a smile on his face, “Yes there is actually one here that I can sell to you. How about five mid stage demonic beast cores. Unless you want to trade something else for it.”
Off to the side, Chu Hong and Feng Bai’s expressions did not change at all. This made Yun Tian think the price was acceptable. So he just took out the demonic beast cores and exchanged them with the sword held by the smiling Wu bai.
Afterwards the Old man asked, “Is there anything else you need?”
Yun Tian shook his head and said, “No. Thank you once again for coming out to help me out.”
Afterwards he clasped his fist once more saying: “I will be on my way now then.”
Wu Bai bade him farewell, returning the polite gesture and saying: “Before you go, take this. It's a card for valued customers of the Spirit Market. If you take it out in another Spirit Market, you will be well received.”
Yun Tian thanked him once more for the card before putting it away and turning to Chu Hong and Feng Bao.
At this, Wu Bai realized he wanted to talk to them and left saying: “I will go first then.”
Afterwards he walked into the building behind him.
They were alone now and Yun Tian said to the two men, “We will be leaving now. Thank you for your help so far. We might or might not come back here eventually. But, if we do, I naturally will not be stingy with the gifts when I return.”
With that, the two of them celebrated inwardly. They had seen his great strength at a young age. If he kept on becoming stronger, then the gifts he brought back, even if they were minor for him, could greatly help them.
So, with bright smiles on their faces, they both said their goodbyes to him.
Yun Tian then turned around and walked away with Shen Yu right beside him and the wolves around them. They stayed silent earlier as they knew Yun Tian would handle everything.
Now though, Shen Yu spoke up saying: “Are you sure that old guy didn’t cheat you.”
Yun Tian was still composed though as he said, “He said it himself that he was overcharging me for the pills and I am sure it was not by a small amount. I am sure it is the same for the sword.”
