Yun Tian was doubtful of his words and asked, “What about the Spirit Market here.”

The old man said, “I am not sure, but I doubt it.”

“Then, I will go see myself, if you don’t mind. We will leave after that.”

Right after he said that, other dantian building experts began showing up en masse.

They showed up in front of the gate behind or to the side of the old man. Yun Tian studied all those that showed up and he was slightly disappointed.

‘Why is this town even weaker than the last one.’

The overall strength of the experts here was weaker than the town he just left. The Chu clan, Chen clan, and the Feng clan plus the other experts in town made for a much stronger force than what he saw here.

When he saw the old man, he was still wondering if there was anyone stronger than him, but that didn’t appear to be the case. He felt their strongest expert this old man was weaker than Chu Hong and they only had two late dantain building experts beside him. This town was much worse than the last.

However the numbers of dantain building experts was slightly higher, though most were only early stage dantian building experts.

He didn’t really care though. So after noting this he just moved on.

The two late dantain building experts who showed up greeted the old man as “senior”, before asking what was going on.

The old man briefly repeated to them the conversation the two just had.

Everyone around also was surprised by the conversation. They could feel the strength of the wolves and knew they were not easy targets, but what they wanted to know most now was how strong Yun Tian was.

Seeing that they finished, Yun Tian asked, “Now, do you mind if I pay a visit to the Spirit Market in town.”

The old man was clearly in charge here as even at his question no one did anything besides looking at the old man. He however also did not say anything immediately and was instead currently studying Yun Tian.

He was wondering if it was fine to let him into town or if they should just turn him away right now.

Eventually he sighed and said, “Only if we accompany you the whole way.”

Yun Tian nodded his head and said, “That’s fine.”

With that a lot of the people there breathed in in relief that everything seemed to be going peacefully so far.

The old man said, “I will lead the way,” and then turned to head back into town. The others cleared a path and let him through.

Yun Tian showed no fear and followed right behind, with Shen Yu right next to him and the wolves sticking close as well.

As they walked some went to their sides and others went behind. They did not attack and showed no sign of open hostility, but they were ready to defend themselves at any moment, just in case anything happened.

Their group entered town and the people inside were stunned to see the town's strongest experts carefully encircling a young man and girl with some wolves around them.

They walked at a decent pace and made their ways through the paths in town. The journey felt grueling and extremely slow to the town’s experts even though they made it to the front of the town’s Spirit Market in only a few minutes.

In front of it a middle aged man was waiting. As they approached, Yun Tian felt the aura he gave off and determined he was only in the mid dantain building realm. He was disappointed by this as he was even weaker than the Wu Bai, but still did not give up just yet.

The old man explained the situation to the man after they arrived and he turned to Yun Tian right after.

He trusted the old man even though he himself felt Yun Tian couldn’t be that strong.

“I do in fact have several high grade qi gathering pills, but what would you have to exchange for them.”

In response Yun Tian took out a late stage demonic core and asked imposingly, “Is this enough to trade for them?”

Everyone around gasped after they recognized the item in his grasp, even the old man.

The middle aged man squeaked out a question still. “How many do you have?”

With that Yun Tian flashed a calm smile and only said, “Enough.”

At his side, Shen Yu was almost drooling as she witnessed how cool Yun Tian was being.

The wolves also felt everyone’s shock and they acted more grandly.

The man from the Spirit Market was ecstatic, but he didn’t let it show and thought for a moment as he looked at Yun Tian.

Eventually, he smiled good naturedly and said, “Alright I guess I can bear the loss of some high grade qi gathering pills. How about one high grade qi gathering pill for one late stage demonic core. I think that’s a good trade for you.”

Yun Tian was initially excited about this trade, hoping to get some more high grade qi gathering pills. Unfortunately, as he kept on talking, the man’s intent of trying to swindle him became apparent.

He already knew from Wu Bai that even one late stage demonic core was too much for only three high grade qi gathering pills. Still, he accepted even two for three before since he couldn’t get them elsewhere and he didn’t want to go against the Spirit Market.

But, this man went too far. Rage started to bubble inside him as his face became cold. Those in the surroundings also started to rebuke this man inwardly. The peak dantian building realm old man in particular started to feel a cold sweat down his back.

The old man was about to say something when suddenly an overwhelming aura of ferocity and killing intent exploded outwards with Yun Tian being the focal point.

Instantly, those around held their weapons in front of them as they nervously looked at the young man surrounded by them. At the same time, the man from Spirit Market fell backwards with cold sweat all over him. He was the target of Yun Tian’s aura and felt the full brunt of it.
