The wolves were treating this like any other battle as they maintained their calmness and started their usual hunting style. They sprinted with great speed and started to circle around their prey. They stayed around fifteen to twenty feet the entire time as they circled the two men. Still, for both the wolves and the two experts this distance could be crossed in an instant.

The two experts were being circled by five wolves with vicious lights in their eyes. Their vigilance grew as they became ready to respond to any attacks thrown at them.

Bolin was the strongest among the wolves. He took the lead as the rest supported him. He was the first to go for an attack towards one of the experts that were now back to back as they carefully watched the wolves’ movements.

The expert he was targeting moved forward as he swung his sword in retaliation to the wolf’s claws coming at him. At the same time Zhi, whose mouth and throat were now bright red, came from the side and went after the same expert in a pincer attack.

The brother of the man obviously wouldn’t let this slide saying: “I've got this one bro.”

He attempted to move and get in the way as he swung his sword. There were still three more wolves though. And it seemed they didn’t intend for this to be for a long drawn out battle.

Zan increased his speed with the help of the wind around him and charged the second expert so he would be able to attack him first.

The two experts spoke no more words as their superior senses allowed them to grasp the situation around them quite clearly.

The first expert targeted by Bolin had his expression drop. He knew he had to deal with Bolin and Zhi on his own now.

His mind raced as he thought about how strange the situation was. The wolves exhibited weird features along with speed much higher than any other mid stage demonic beast they had seen before. That coupled with their great teamwork made him hope their subordinates would rush over quickly.

It wasn’t over yet though. Qing also came at the second expert from the side. Fortunately she wasn’t as fast as Zan. So, the man wasn’t too worried.

At this moment, Bolin’s claws clashed with the extremely fast sword strike displayed by the first brother. Both were knocked back slightly with the man being separated from his brother. At the same Zhi came from his side and abruptly a spray of fire came out of his mouth as he charged at the man.

He was completely taken by surprise as he hadn’t expected a wolf to suddenly breathe fire. So, his timing was off, but he wasn’t too badly harmed though as he had already been preparing to receive Zhi’s attack. His qi barrier blocked some of it before he slashed once again with his sword scattering the rest of it and successfully blocking the claws of Zhi who was right behind the wave of fire. He internally was extremely grateful at the moment for his sword style heavily focusing on speed.

Zhi was not as strong as Bolin, but the man wasn’t able to put his full strength behind the attack so he wasn’t knocked too far back. At the same time the man was distanced even more from his brother.

While this was happening, the other three wolves were dealing with the other expert. While Zhi had appeared to be charging straight at the man, he abruptly pulled back. The man stopped his swing partway and turned. The man still couldn’t go to help against Zhi at that point as Qing was still coming from his side and from another side Jin also started to charge at him.

The man’s plan to first block Zan and then Qing changed. He put his all on Qing as Jin would be too slow and he could put all his attention on her.

He swung his sword with extreme speed just like his brother. Seeing the sword coming at her, Qing did not panic and kept her calm.

With extremely fluid and agile movements, she managed to twist and go right by the sword with it going through the fur on the left side of her body. As the sword narrowly missed her she was planning to go for the man’s neck, but the man’s other hand was already raising to protect himself.

So, she gave up on that and just used her mouth to bite down and grab onto the wrist of the hand holding his sword. The man’s qi barrier blocked some of the force, but it was too weak and her teeth successfully bit down into the man’s wrist restraining it and causing great pain to him.

He was dragged back slightly while Qing still held onto his wrist. He was about to use his other hand to attack her with a dagger he had pulled out of his spatial bag, when suddenly Zan came in and bit onto his other wrist as well.

He had merely pulled back for a moment and never planned to let Qing actually go in on her own. She was only supposed to deal with the first attack and either distract or kill him. With his speed he was easily able to help her in time.

The man’s arms were both completely restrained as he was pushed down to the ground with the wolves claws also digging into his flesh. He struggled the entire time as he cried out while in pain, “Bro Help!”

Unfortunately his brother was dealing with the attacks of Bolin and Zhi at this moment. Completely distracted by them and unable to help even if he was aware of his situation.

Unable to do anything, he could only struggle against the two wolves holding him down as suddenly Jin jumped landing on him. The man grunted heavily and during that moment Jin’s jaws chomped down on the man’s throat with his full force, easily going past the qi barrier he pooled together with great effort.

His teeth went into the man’s throat and tore it apart very aggressively. The man couldn't even scream as his throat was torn apart and his head almost separated from the rest of his body.
