Yun Tian stopped Bolin by saying: “No problem, it wouldn’t be much help to me at all if I had fought them.”

The wolf wasn’t asking for the bodies or anything like that. Bolin was trying to thank him for letting them fight the two strongest experts and get more experience fighting. He already let the wolves do so a lot in the wild, but this was different as they didn’t get human opponents that often, both the wolves and Yun Tian.

As for the bodies, Yun Tian already gave them lot’s of demonic cores whenever they needed them. So, Bolin didn’t care too much about the bodies. Yun Tian and the wolves already had an understanding about resources after all.

Yun Tian then said, “Let’s collect the spoils then.”

With that he went over to the two late stage experts and the wolves went to gather the spatial bags and swords of the dead experts behind Yun Tian.

Yun Tian searched the two grabbing their spatial bags and swords when he suddenly thought of something and yelled to the wolves, “Get their dantians too.”

He didn’t want to waste free resources especially as there was no one around to see him take them and these dantians could be very helpful in enhancing his strength.

He used his sword and cut the dantians out of the two experts as the wolves dug out the dantians of the others with their claws.

They then brought everything to Yun Tian, who stored everything away saying: “We will start collecting dantians too whenever there are no other people around.”

Shen Yu also agreed with him saying: “No point in wasting them especially since they might be able to help you.”

After that, they piled up the bodies and Yun Tian said, “Go ahead Zhi. Burn them.”

With that fire came out of Zhi’s mouth igniting the pile of dead bodies starting a bonfire in the middle of the path.

Yun Tian didn’t want to keep their bodies for two reasons. One, they were humans like him. The second and main reason was that their bodies were even worse than even an early stage demonic beast’s body. They would not help the wolves at all.

At this moment Yun Tian was preparing to turn and continue heading down the path when he heard something. He instead turned to look in the direction of the town they just left.

Suddenly, a genuine smile bloomed on his face. He wondered, ‘Am I going to get the dantian of a peak dantian building expert?’

After that thought, he just stayed there with Shen Yu in his arms once more. Waiting for Jin Hui to arrive. He knew the only one able to travel that fast would be him.

Jin Hui saw the smoke from far away and immediately his expression darkened. He went as fast as he could and when he got closer he saw Yun Tian, Shen Yu, and the wolves near a big pile of burning corpses almost completely turned into ashes by now.

And beside them Yun Tian had a big smile on his face as he watched the man arrive.

The scene almost couldn’t be any more eerie. Although creeped out when he saw this, he still quickly analyzed the situation. On one side were the dead experts amounting to many strong dantian building experts and the other side appeared to have no injuries whatsoever. Even Shen Yu, who he was absolutely sure wasn’t even in the dantian building realm, was completely fine. This meant one thing. Their strength greatly outclassed the dead group of people.

As Jin Hu thought about this and his sudden arrival just now, along with Yun Tian’s smile, he suddenly had the urge to immediately turn and run. He didn’t do that though, as that would only make him look more suspicious. He worried that if Yun Tian truly was stronger and faster than him, he would take running as an admission of guilt.

So, he instead looked straight at Yun Tian and said a little shakily, “Young friend, I assume these people tried to rob you and your group killed them?”

He already guessed that they had left town to try and rob Yun Tian when he wasn’t able to find them. He was just trying to find a way to not seem like he was their enemy now.

As he thought, Yun Tian was trying to understand whether this man was with the experts he just killed or not. And he didn’t quite know yet.

So, he could only find out through their conversation.

“Yes. They waited for us to appear here and then tried to rob us. You don’t blame me for killing them?” Yun Tian asked and then he put extra emphasis on saying: “Do you?”

Jin Hui was a little panicky seeing that Yun Tian did in fact suspect him, but he truly was not responsible for this so he was able to confidently say, “No I don’t blame you at all. I am here because I went to the residence of their Ma clan to berate them for disrespecting you earlier and found none of their dantian building experts were there.

“After that, I had my men search the whole city for them when suddenly I thought of where they might have gone. That is when I rushed out here hoping to stop them from trying to rob you like I suspected.”

His smile twitched as he continued, “Luckily it seems you had it all taken care of even without my help.”

‘I would have rather stopped them before they died though,’ Jin Hui thought. He was just trying to seem as friendly as possible so he didn’t mention that he was upset about their deaths. They may have tried to rob Yun Tian, but they were still part of his town.

Yun Tian watched his expression the entire time and felt the man was mostly honest in his words. He also did not exaggerate too much. That along with Jin Hu not contacting the dead experts when they were together made him think Jin Hui truly had nothing to do with this. As for whether he actually came here to save Yun Tian? He wasn’t sure.
