《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》Easily Distracting The Bear?

The wolves could barely resist the force as the bear’s large body rapidly shifted and they sure as hell would not be able to resist if it pinned them down. So, they all let go, either jumping away or letting the force of the bear throw them.
They all landed gracefully before immediately returning their attention to the currently roaring bear. They had successfully stopped it, but the wolves’ expressions didn’t lighten in the least. Instead, they all became extremely grim at this moment.
Their job wasn’t over. It was paying attention to them and now they had to survive.
They could split up and go different ways hoping to distract it that way but it would quickly catch Qing or Zhi as they were slower than Bolin and Zan. They had only been able to reach the bear, because of their great timing while coming from its sides.
The bear was very large, but it was also a peak stage demonic beast. It was definitely not slow.
The wolves quickly grouped together, while the bear finished its roll before immediately getting up and resuming its charge. This time it was going for the wolves.
At the same time Yun Tian continued his breakthrough process. He didn’t care if he swallowed too many at once or anything like that as his mind was only focused on making the most of the breakthrough completely ignoring everything else. Although he wasn’t forced into a hopeless situation like when he broke through to dantian building, he had decided to always push his limits no matter what. That was the only way he could become stronger than everyone else faster than anyone else.
He swallowed high grade qi gathering pills one after another and multiple at once. He went through thirty of them with his rapid pace by now and showed no signs of stopping any time soon. His breakthrough process was apparently nowhere near done. In fact, more and more qi was gushing into him from the area around him and he quickened the rate at which he was swallowing pills.

Next to him, Jin and Shen Yu both calmed down and got more worried at the same time as they heard the sounds coming from where Bolin and the rest went. The sounds were no longer coming towards Yun Tian, but the battle also didn’t end instantly. Meaning that their opponent could be something dangerous, but it also meant they had a chance against their opponent.
This was indeed the case as the bear charged at the wolves, but they successfully dodged together to the side.
They had already decided on their plan of action. Dodge and distract the bear as best they could. Their speed and smaller frames let them dodge around the bear as it was much clumsier with its large bulging body.
All they had to do was just not get hit. However, if they were forced to block an attack, the only chance they had was to do it together as they wouldn’t stand any chance of doing it individually.
The situation didn’t seem too bad though as the bear could go fast in a straight line, but it was quite big and wasn’t that agile. It couldn’t turn very well and they were able to dodge the charge with the good head start they had.
The bear tried to turn and swipe at them with its claws, but that turned out to be useless since the wolves just kept moving around it in a group, never staying in front of it.
Still, they never attacked and the bear seemed to realize that the battle wasn’t going anywhere.
It stopped going after them after over ten missed attacks and instead released a roar as it turned towards Yun Tian’s position. It felt the increased phenomenon of qi moving in that direction and the beast's instincts surged.
No longer bothering with the wolves, it resumed its initial charge toward Yun Tian.

Seeing it charging away from them, Bolin exchanged a glance with Zan and they quickly ran after it. They were slightly faster than the bear even when going straight through the forest, however Qing and Zhi were not. The two of them also moved at their fastest speed after the bear, they still could only trail slightly behind. They were too slow to catch up with it. It was up to Bolin and Zan to stop it.
Around the same time, Yun Tian got near the end of the pills. The qi within his dantian, although constantly being refined and absorbed to enlarge and strengthen the dantian itself was still large in quantity unlike his past breakthroughs where the amount was meagre at the end even though it was greatly strengthened.
This was because there was an incredible amount of qi gushing into his dantian from both the world around him and the pills. And it seemed he could still go on.
After swallowing the last pill, without any hesitation he picked up a late stage dantian and tried to absorb the qi within it.
Immediately, Yun Tian felt a stream of powerful qi gushing out of it and into him where it was absorbed into his dantian. However, as it was being refined by his dantian a large part of it was instantly absorbed by his dantian’s walls. He felt it becoming sturdier and enlarging even more. The qi he sucked out from it seemed to be a great supplement to his dantian.
The qi that wasn’t absorbed joined the rest of the qi in his dantian where it moved in a spiral constantly being refined and absorbed into the dantian walls around it.
Shen Yu had watched on in worry while he picked up his first dantian, but she calmed down when saw that he seemed fine.
As for Jin, he still patrolled around, but his eyes darted between Yun Tian and where Bolin and the rest went. Shen Yu’s senses were too weak to tell what was happening, but the wolf could hear some things that made him worry.
Bolin and Zan caught up with the charging bear and were about to go after its legs like they did before, but a peak stage demonic beast wasn’t so stupid to disregard their presence and let the same thing happen a second time. The wolves also knew this, but they had no choice. If they wanted to stop it, this was the only thing they could do.

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.
