Why can't I move?

"How do his vitals look?"

"Sir, based on these readings there's nothing out of the ordinary, really. Are you sure he's one of them?"

"We have two agents who both separately vouch for his abilities. Not to mention what he displayed during his capture. I didn't come here for you to tell me he's not 'really' out of the ordinary. I'll judge that for myself so tell me what it is."

"I'm sorry sir. His blood glucose level is off the charts."

"You're telling me he is diabetic?"

"No sir, it's way beyond that. The strange thing is that everything else is fine. So for some reason, these extremely high levels of glucose aren't negatively affecting him."

What are they saying?

I can barely hear them.

"Get some brain scans on him. After that tell the guards to put him in the penitentiary wing."

"Sir! With these readings, he'll get eaten alive in there. I believe the disciplinary wing would be a better fit."

"You don't know what he's done, and apparently you don't know what he is capable of. So until we figure out what, he is to be treated as a high-risk subject."

"Yes sir, I'm sorry sir."
