"Whoa, you nailed his ass, Jason!"
"What do you want?"
"Oh nothing, I thought there was going to be a fight so I rushed over."
I feel something rocking me back and forth, "Tom, wake up man! Are you alright?"
"He'll be fine, I even fixed his nose. Carnie, please get out of here before Red gets pissed off."
"Screw her!"
"You clearly don't mean that so your best option would be to make up with her."
"What do you know Jason? I'm not Veronica, you don't control me!... Ok-okay I'm leaving, no need to get upset big guy, ha-ha, just a joke."
"Look Wayne, you see, he's waking up. Told you he was fine."
Opening my eyes I see a little girl running away, Jason sitting down at the table next to Veronica, and what look to be braces sitting on the table. I assume just by the look on my face they can comprehend my confusion, because they speak before I have a chance to, Jason being the first out of them. However, his lips don't move.
"Watch what you think about Veronica!"
Veronica was the next to speak, but it didn't seem to be to help my confusion. She speaks looking directly at Wayne, "Sorry about your friend, but, he kinda did lay a hand on me. He should be fine as long as that doesn't happen again."
I look at Jason and Veronica, still slightly confused but I ignore it because, "Wayne you took your braces off?"
"Yeah, my arm and leg are fine now, thanks to Veronica!"
I look over to Jason.
What's this about, why did you help Wayne?
"Don't ask me, It wasn't my idea. As far as I'm concerned she doesn't have to help anybody even if they are dying right in front of her, let alone someone with a limp."

I stare at Veronica, "I wouldn't stare too long, you might upset my J."
"Why did you heal him?"
"Cautious are you? Well, I felt I owed him a very small debt, that's all you'll get out of me about that. Now my turn, what I want to know is what about Red makes you like her so much."
I couldn't stop my eyebrows from shooting up at that, "Excuse me?"
I looked towards Jason but his eyes seem to be avoiding me.
"It's got to be those tight pants right? She is the only girl in here to have skinny jeans so I can see why she would draw your attention, but I don't think anybody else would consider something so dangerous because of some tight pants. There has to be something else?"
"Alright, Wayne we're leaving!" I grab Wayne and pull him behind me, his tray was already empty so he shouldn't have any reason to complain. Walking through the exit doorway, I see Carnie leaned up against a wall to the side of it. Her mischievous smile was wider than normal.
"Oh, don't mind me. I'm standing here minding my own business. Not listening to anything."
Ignoring her, I keep walking.
"Wayne, have any idea what that was about?"
"Not really, I don't know why she would have thought she owed me a debt. Though I'm still grateful she healed me. By the way, was that thing about you true?"
"Nope! She must have just wanted to fuck with me."
"Come on, it's only 135 pounds."
"That's mORe thAN I WeiGHT!"
"Really? I knew you were small but that's a bit much."
I barely get the weight up, racking it my arms collapse back down to my body.

"I didn't do it on purpose." sitting up I see a serious expression on Jason's face "What's wrong?"
"Don't do anything stupid."
"Why would I," following Jason's eyes to the entrance I see Justin standing there.
Shit!
Justin walks over to us. Though I can't see his eyes it seems like he doesn't even look at me, but goes straight for Jason.
"You know what I want."
"Why don't you ask them for it. They should have plenty to spare with as much as they've taken from her!"
"You don't think I tried that? They said it can't heal him, but we both know that's not true. They just don't want to spare any of their precious resource."
"You're not getting anything from her, I don't care what your reason is."
"I'm coming to you so I don't have to take it from her, if it comes to that, I can't promise I'll be gentle."
It was impressive how fast Jason's hand made contact with Justin's face. Even though Jason doesn't have any strength enhancements he was still able to make Justin go flying.
"I told you you're not going to touch her!"
Justin slowly stands up, everyone in the training room is stunned in silence, including me. I'm not 100 percent sure what's going on but I have a pretty good guess. If I'm right then there's no stopping them from fighting. I have no choice but to run, they'll drop me the second I try to do anything so I'd just be in the way. Besides, Jason can handle his own.
Starting to back away from the two I hear a voice. This voice stops me dead in my tracks.
"Now-now Justin, we wouldn't want you doing anything to get yourself in trouble, would we?"
Jason is the first to speak because he is the only one facing the person directly, "What are you doing here..." However, it doesn't take long before he stops, looking over at me in shock.
I was frozen still, not from anything external, but by my own rage. The sudden burst of adrenaline shocked my system while my mind raced.
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Kill!
Turning my head I saw the familiar figure. The hair, the suit, the shades, it was the reason I hated every agent I saw. Right in front of me, he stood, a slight smirk on his face as he looked at all of us.
His head moves towards me, "Nice to see you again, I heard you put up a good fight against Push and Pull. I was impressed, your mother would be so proud of you."
The pounding of my pulse in my head, and the sweat that glazed my body, it confirmed that I wasn't dreaming. This is real. This is my chance!
I sprinted towards him, clawing and the air in front of me, I wouldn't let even it slow me down. I felt a vibration begin in my neck but I didn't care, he was the only thing in my world.
No! NOT YET!
My body left my control and I collapsed to the floor like a wooden board.
"Did you miss me that much? I'm touched."
My body convulsed, the burning sensation of electricity ran through me. Straining everything I had I was able to move my eyes up and see his shoes.
He's right there! Just a foot away! I have to... a little further!
Please, MOVE!
Take my life, just let me move!
PLEASE!!!
