《Bug in this Game》Ch 5 - Celadon Town

Walking towards town on foot takes about two hours. During this trip, they asked many things about Izoke like his name, class, and skills. Izoke mentioned his name but he lied about his skill and class. He told them his class was "swordsman" and his skills were swordsmanship. When he told them his name was Izoke they laughed saying, "We meant your real name. Not the one we can read above your head". This startled Izoke and it could be seen on his face. Haruki cut in," Sorry, I know that's personal and many people won't tell their real name for fear of hackers. Since you just met us forget we asked".
With his rusty sword attaching in his belt the noobs believed he was a swordsman. They even believed everything he said because he seems to be strong. Power seems to make even the most suspicious person beyond doubt. Every step he took with them toward their destination made Izoke feel uneasy. Kazuo and Yuuto asked him question after question and Haruki wasn’t asking him anything, she was just giving him a cute smile.
I think she knows that I am feeling uncomfortable with their questions, Izoke thought.
After a few hours, they reach their destination called Celadon Town. It's a town, Izoke hadn't been to yet. This town is a safe place for the players that a lot of players congregate at. Being one of the major towns fighting between the players is prohibited here. He had a bad experience in the other town because that was the place where he discovered all about the NPC thing. Reaching the new town, they began to discuss the sale of the dragon's corpse.
“Let’s go to the Guild House to sell this, they can give us the right amount,” Kazou suggested. All agreeing with his advice they went to the Guild house. It was a large brick building that was colored brown and looked like a big city hall. They went into the building, where they saw many players talking with each other’s and watching the Quest Board take missions. The Guild provides missions to the adventures and gives them rewards after the quests are complete.

There was a girl whose name was listed as Guild Broker. Izoke doubted that was her real name but since she was an NPC it was what had been assigned to her. She was a manager at the guild. She provides details and other essential things to the players. She was definitely an NPC but different from the villagers he'd known growing up. Her responses were downright robotic. Izoke himself did not know how to describe it but her eyes were dull and dead like. She looked to be a mid-aged woman with a beautiful face and long Curly-Red hair. Izoke and others walked towards the main area and Haruki touched her storage ring to take out the corpse of the Dragon. The corpse was big enough to cover the big desk in front of the Guild Broker.
“Hey, What about this?” Kazuo asked the Broker while putting his hand on the corpse.
The Broker acted surprised while examining the big corpse of the dragon. “Wow, where did you kill it, It is a super rare dragon, I can't believe it. The NPC monotone. This is a small one which is obviously a baby. It is also the first time I've seen one this young.”
“We just happen to run into it at the Ruins of Grass, and this guy helped us kill it,” Kazuo told the NPC while pointed at Izoke.
“It is a rare thing and its skin is very useful to make strong heavy armor. I can give you about 500 silver coins for it,” The NPC offered.
“Are you okay with this amount Izoke?” Haruki asked.
“Sure, why not” He replied.
“Okay then It’s a deal,” The Broker said cheerfully rubbing her hands together. Izoke could swear that was the first time he noticed a slight sparkle in her eyes.

They received their payment 500 silver coins in a small cloth bag and divided between themselves. Izoke got 200 coins and the three of them got 100 coins each. They were happy once they received the money and now they can go buy items in the game. They were leaving the guild house and Izoke was about to go his separate way.
Suddenly Yuuto said “, let’s read the Quest board and see if there are any missions left or not. If so we can do it tomorrow”.
After that, they went to take a look at the quest board. There were not many quests still available because the other players had already taken them. There was only one quest that was left and it was...
