《My Wonder System》Beast Hawk

There was only one person who Frank believed could get him out of the current situation he was in now but when he searched through the soldiers present there with his eyes David was nowhere to be found.
The slap had immediately subdued the zeal Frank had to prove any resistance and Arnold who had seen his mate receive couldn't see himself putting up any form of resistance.
Frank wanted to scream, maybe David would hear him from the other side of the camp and come save him but one thing was keeping him from doing that and that was because he doubted that David might be able to do anything.
If he remembered correctly David was only a sergeant while the man holding his arm had just referred to one of the soldiers there as a lieutenant.
Frank, Arnold, and the other kids who the soldiers had with them had no choice but to go along with what the soldiers had planned for them.
There was no way for his mother to be aware of what was happening now because their tent was far away from this side of the camp and the rain may not allow them to hear anything.
"Equip those kids quickly, I've just gotten a report that they are losing men quickly." The lieutenant said as he began to walk ahead out of the camp.
Frank along with his mates was dragged outside the camp and were all armed with assault rifles now.
Most of the boys were shaking with the gun in their hands, most kids may want to touch the guns that soldiers used but none of them wanted it to be this way.
"We are going to die," Arnold muttered with his hands shaking.
He said it so that none of the soldiers would hear it, but Frank knew he was right. How could they send underage kids to the same job that the soldiers couldn't do well?
If he was to say they were just being sent to that battlefield to get their lives wasted.
There were five soldiers there including the Lieutenant who was a muscular bald man named Roger.
All the soldiers had their assault rifles with them, one of them had an AK-47 but the Lieutenant wasn't holding any weapon but just had a Ruger Sr4c fitted by his side, the Ruger Sr4c was a compact pistol rumored to be the strongest pistol.

It didn't take long for a van to start approaching them from far away.
"I think that's our ride." Lieutenant Roger said.
The van pulled up in front of them and quickly reversed to face them with its back.
"Captain Don," Roger said on seeing the person who stepped down from the van.
"It's been a long time, Lieutenant but we have trouble to deal with now," Don said.
"I know, a wave of beasts heading for this camp," Roger said.
"It's not just this camp, there are two beast waves of about one hundred and fifty beasts each heading for the camp here and the one south of here.
Frank gulped at the number being mentioned, the discussion between the two soldiers was just increasing the fear that the teenagers felt.
"But we were able to intercept the two waves on time, turning it into one large wave," Don added. "We've lost many soldiers in the fight but the beasts' number are still large, we've only managed to kill about a hundred of them.
"We have very few soldiers left now who are still trying to survive, most of them are still on the battlefield."
When Frank heard the man say they had intercepted the beast wave he took a closer look at him because he didn't look like someone coming from a battle.
'What would such a number of beasts do to this camp if they get her?' Frank, thought looking back at the camp, then images of his mother getting devoured by those beasts flashed in his mind.
Frank had to shake his head to shake that image off.
'If going to the battlefield to help fight those beasts will stop them from getting here then I'll do it.' Frank thought as he tightened the grip on his assault rifle.
The situation update by Don had just given him the motivation he needed; he didn't want his mother to get hurt, she had been hurt enough.
The rain began to slow down as the teenagers were being forced to go into the van, some of them had been fixated on the floor due to the feeling of cold plus the cold effects coming from their drenched bodies and needed hard pushes from the soldiers to move. One of them had even fallen on the floor when he got pushed but he was quickly picked up by the soldier responsible and asked to go into the van.

'Do they have to be that harsh?' Frank thought as he slowly walked into the back of the van.
Once everyone was inside the last soldier to enter closed the van's door and instructed Don to move on.
The teenagers were with four soldiers in the back of the van while Roger was in the front seat with Don.
Slight sobbings coming from the terrified teenagers could be heard inside the van but the soldiers completely ignored them.
Frank turned to Arnold who was sitting close to the door at the other side to see that he wasn't among those sobbing, he was just sitting there quietly staring ahead but his eyes looked dead as if his mind wasn't there.
Their ride was interrupted when something unexpected hit the van from the side causing it to tumble on the floor and was now lying on its side with its wheel off the ground.
The van's back door was busted open by a kick from one of the soldiers and soon all four soldiers came out with the teenagers, most of them who were coughing.
The two in the front seat had managed to make it out of the van.
"What was that?" One of the soldiers asked.
His question was soon answered as a hoarse sound was heard in the sky, the hawk zoomed past them and took his head along with it.
"Everybody get down!!!" Don screamed on seeing the soldier's head go off.
The fear bars of the teenagers were now full as they were now screaming.
"Will you shut up!" A soldier hit one of the teenagers with his rifle causing him to immediately fall unconscious.
The hawk flew over them again and this time dropped the soldier's head, it landed on top of the van and bounced towards Frank who tried to avoid it but it managed to hit him on his hand causing him to fall on the floor.
"Are you okay boy?"
He looked up to see one of the soldiers offering him a hand.
"Yeah," He said as he took his hand.
He may have pretended not to be hurt but he had gotten hit by someone's skull and that may have fractured his bones.
He held his assault rifle with his hurt arm as he pressed the area where he had gotten hit by the head.
The soldiers had already started shooting the hawk which was still hovering around in the air.
The bird was avoiding every bullet and would use any chance and try to attack but before he could get close to them they would be instructed by Don to get on the floor.
"This is annoying." Roger who hadn't been shooting so far said as he pulled out his Ruger Sr4c.
While the others were shooting he aimed his gun at where he believed the hawk might fly next and immediately the bird entered the zone he pulled the trigger.
Few seconds after the bullet had left his gun the hawk was seen crashing from the sky and falling a few feet away from them.
"You still have that wonderful accuracy with you," Don said.
The three soldiers who were protecting the teenagers couldn't comprehend the level of accuracy they just saw now, they had been shooting for minutes without getting a shot on target but all he had taken Lieutenant Roger to kill the beast was just a single shot from his pistol.
This was to prove that in situations like this experience mattered.
Although the bird which had caused them so much trouble and even taken the life of a soldier was gone, their main trouble wasn't gone as everyone in the group could hear gunshots far ahead.
It didn't take long before they began to see a few soldiers quickly moving back while shooting the beast horde that was trying to get past them.
One of the cat beasts pounced on one of the soldiers tore him apart and without wasting time came running towards Lieutenant Roger and his group.
