《Ariana: Weakest Reincarnation》Chapter 3 Appraisal

The light engulfed my body, it was a tingling feeling. Is this magic? My body was glowing in the light she made.
“Wow!” Stella would look astonished.
“Amazing, you have the Sage skill too!” She was absolutely amazed by this discovery.
Sara just watched, she was probably as confused as I was.
“Uh if I may ask, what exactly is the sage skill?” Sara asked her. She would turn over to her.
“It's the most powerful skill” I would freeze in amazement that she gave me such a skill.
“For studying that is” Huh… Did she say studying? I did enough of that in my past life. I don’t want more of it in this one.
“Studying?” Sara said, confused.
“Yes, studying. With that, you can master magic way faster than others. It improves your memory to be almost perfect and all sorts of other things related to that '' And with that, I like the skill again. She seemed to be hyping up the skill a lot. But she said she had it too, so that's to be expected.
But she seemed to be enjoying the fact she met someone else with the skill.
“Now then, we must be careful of who knows about you… What do we call her?” Sara asked.
“Hmm, what about Ariana?” Stella asked. Oh that's a really cool name! Is cool the right word? Probably not.
“Yeah that's a great name” Sara said to her with a smile.
“Now what are we going to do with her?” Sara asked.
“Well, it's best to get her to my kingdom as this one is only accepting to humans. And I'm sure someone might notice if we're not careful” She said thinking.
“Ah I got an idea, my family could adopt her. That way people won't ask about her hair color as it's really close to most of my family's hair color, well accept mine of course” She said.

Huh?! Really? This is happening way too fast and without any of my input. Ahg! Why is this happening? You know I did think of trying to be some hero, but if this is what I have to deal with, I would rather just have a normal life here. My head was scrambling around.
Sara noticed me acting strange and walked up to me. “Are you ok?” She asked. I would then stop and look at her. They were so kind to me. They even saved me. Maybe I shouldn't overthink things right now. I would then nod to her more relaxed now. She smiled at me.
“So Sara” Stella asked.
“Yes?”
“If I may ask, what level of magic are you learning right now?” She asked.
“Well uh, i'm about at tier 2 magic right now” So there's a tier system to the magic here.
“Wow, that's pretty good. I'm at tier 7 right now” Sara's eyes would light up.
“What really! Wow”
“If you'd like, I could teach you a tier 3 spell. If you have the magic capacity of course”
“Ok sure, I have the capacity to use tier 3 spells”
“Ok then how about I teach you a water spell, it would help your village during a drought”
“That would be useful thank you” I watched them talk and was getting a bit bored, but watching how magic worked would be cool.
“Now i'll show you the spell, create water” She would get a bucket and put it on the ground, and lift her hand above it. “Create water” Words I couldn't read manifested and water would start pouring into the bucket, filling it up.
What that’s the same kind of thing the one that reincarnated me talked about, magic words.
“Create water takes the water vapor in the air and condenses it, which makes the water pour like that” Stella said. “And to make it easy to affect a large area, like crops, you can use this modified version of the spell I call water spray” What a creative name...

She would raise her hand at a wall. “Water spray” She would say as words would appear again, they were almost the same as last time but slightly changed. Water would then blast from her hands onto a wall, water splashing all over the place.
“And like that you can water plants with ease, but the rate that the water is gathered is mainly based on the humidity of the air, so don't try to put too much energy into it as this spell relies on how much you decide to put into it and not a set limit by the spell” She went on to teach her the spell as I watched.
I wondered what kind of abilities I might have, but it's not like I can ask her.
If only I could get her to know I want to learn some stuff as well.
Sara would then glance at me a second, and get up.
“Hey, why don't you teach Ariana something?” She asked, Thank you, Sara!
“Sure, why not, you have the sage skill. So you should be a fast learner” She said.
She would then first teach me about my skill, Sage. It was a learning skill with multiple abilities. One being perfect memory. Pretty easy to tell what that does, the others would be.
Mind manipulation resistance seems useful.
Spell processor: Be able to process and cast spells faster and more efficiently.
Silent caster: Be able to cast spells without the need for magic words, circles, or chants.
Data processor: The ability to sort through your own thoughts with more efficiency.
Memory restoration: The ability to restore memories.
Wait, memory restoration? Couldn't I use the skill to restore my ability to speak?
Only one way to find out.

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
