I would concentrate on the skill, Memory restoration. From what I know, all you have to do to use a skill is concentrate on the skill to activate it.

I felt something surging through my body like when Stella used appraisal on me. The cloudiness in my mind would begin to clear. It was working?

I would try talking as Stella was right next to me. What should I say? A simple hi?

Sure why not, best to say something simple as they might freak out.

“U-uh…” I would say, Stella would stare at me and Sara would look over.

“H-hi” I stumbled over my words a bit. Ah, that's right, I wasn't good at talking to people in my last life either so it’s not like I was going to now.

“What, she can talk!” Sara ran over.

“It would appear so, maybe she used the sage skill. I did just tell her about some of the skills that came with it”

“Y-yes, I used uh, the memory restoration skill” I said to her.

“Does that mean you have memory loss or something? '' She says to me, which made me realize that I couldn't just tell them I came from another world.

“Uh not really, my thoughts were just a bit s-scrambled that's all” Man, I'm a terrible talker.

“Then that makes things easier than trying to think of what you’re trying to communicate”

“I guess” I rub the back of my head nervously.

“Now then for some rules. One always wear a hoodie when we go outside, I don’t need anyone thinking you’re a monster”

“What if I look like a monster?” I was a bit saddened by that, I thought I at least looked like a human.

“Not really, but you have dark red hair and-” She would grab the bucket of water and show me my reflection.

I had dark crimson hair with dark crimson eyes to go along with it. I also had pointy ears…

“Pointy ears! So am I an elve?” I asked.

“I don't think you are, elves don’t have red hair or eyes. Even with having high magic affinities” She said. “They might think your some unknown monster, or a vampire maybe”

There are vampires in this world huh…

“But to be honest, I don't know what you are, I might have to do some research on you. Sara, may I ask how you found her?” She would say to Sara.

Sara would then explain to her how she came to find me and how I hatched from an egg. Which surprised Stella quite a bit.

“So if you came from an egg… Ugh, I don't know what you could be. This is new to me”

A Sage being stuck like this, who would have guessed.

After a while of talking, Sara would leave and it was decided I would stay with Stella for now as Sara wasn't able to let me stay at her place as her parents might not like that.

“S, do you come from this kingdom?” I ask Stella.

“What makes you say that”

“Uh, the fact that you seem ok with me, despite the kingdom not liking non-humans, and you’re staying in an inn”

“Those are good points. Yes, I'm not from this kingdom, I’m from another one, and I’m here to learn about magic from a powerful Sage that’s here” She explained as she sat down on a chair.

“After that ill be going to a magic academia to get stronger. Then maybe I could catch up to my sister…” After she said that there was some awkward silence and we both stopped talking.

A few weeks have passed and Stella has been teaching me magic. She used appraisal on me again to give me an estimate of what my stats were.

Magic capacity: C Rank

Magic efficiently: A-rank

Physically ability: F Rank

And a few others. With that, she said my rank is at least C Rank as I still don't know much magic.

So far she's only taught me magic words like create water and low-level protection spells as she doesn't think I need to learn any attack magic yet.

I've gotten the hang of magic words as all you need to know when using those are the basics of the spell, basic knowledge on how to use magic, and the words to trigger the spell needed.

I really want to learn this silent casting, but I might as well wait for that at least.
