《Manablood Mellie》Chapter 25: Rock hard Answers

Mellie left Robert with the materials clutched in his hands. He had long been hoping his rune class would appear once his Runesmith skill finally reached 20. His master hadn't any notion to acquire him a stone, and he wasn't desperate enough to risk his life to find one. So, he did what every other poor coward did. He grinded his skill hoping for a system intervention. The old miser had owned him for three years, buying him after his parents were eaten. She had been relying on his strengths in her weakened condition. She had the Debuff: Life Decay. Unless you had access to manablood from a powerful magical beast, death was eminent. Little did he know, what he thought was demonkin blood that he was holding in his hands would have extended her life another fifty years.
Mellie walked to the runic circles on the stage, warily. She did what she usually did and cut her hand, pressing her hand against the one of rune formations. The rune began lighting up and the whole circle caught on fire. Mellie jumped back, avoiding the flames as Robert and Mary raced across the room towards their savior.
As the fires died down, black smoke flowed up so thick you couldnt see through it, like a backwards raincloud, dissapearing into nothing above the circle. A moment later the smoke cleared, leaving a questionable being in its wake.
Xander Nightmist, Incubus Lord, lvl 50
His skin looked sunburned, like a redhead who fell asleep in the desert, except his hair was dark blue. His face was handsome, nonetheless, with smoothe grey horns that curved in a little C-shape. He was about 6'5 with a reddish work of art for a body. He wore a robe, left open exposing his long heavy member, that hardened at her gaze.
"Hello" his voice grazed her ears and breezed down their backs. "It's been quite some time since I've been called to breed with the humans of this realm. Who has come to worship my body and recieve my magic?"
Mary began raising her hand. Mellie smacked it down. "We just came here for answers. Although we may take you up on that offer, depending on those answers. Can you like, cover up in the meantime. I can't concentrate with that thing pointing at me." She said, averting her eyes.

The Incubus Lord smiled, staring at her intensely as he closed his robe, still pointing. "Continue." He ushered her after he summoned himself a black leather cushioned chair and relaxed inside his circle.
"My ancestors are from this church. Hundreds of years ago, which is lifetimes ago for me to put it in context, they portaled to a no magic planet. Thats where I'm from. I just got here. I have Will magic and I'm a manablood." She blurted out. Robert was startled by her admissions, his thoughts racing at the implications. He had hitched his wagon to the right horse. His 20 luck stat really was good for something.
The demon looked shocked, eyeing her body features. She appeared human. "What is your race, child?" he asked her, eyes slitted.
"My status says Cambion and next to that it says demonkin slash mageborn. I always thought I was human but when I accidentally portaled here my blood was like on fire and the manablood class said I had manablood. I'm assuming that was the feeling when I got to this world, the bloodfire thing." she freely admitted. Behind her, her companions were reeling from all this information. Mary knew some of Mellies secrets but the rest of this was remarkable.
The incubus, sat up resting his head in his hands, thinking. "How much do you know about your kind?" he asked.
"Which kind?" she retorted."That came out wrong." she winced. I grew up on planet no-magic. I didnt know anything other than humans existed until a month ago. Just pretend I'm a child that needs to learn so I can teach other children. The ancestral history of this church and demons dont exist in this world." She explained.
The incubus sat back on his seat, exposing himself. "Well" he began, "Demonkin are our kin. Our children. Because we are so powerful their magic is locked from their use, so their less than optimal vessels don't combust. The humans who carried these original demonkin were blessed with magic. All breeders are, child or not." He said eyeing the three in the party, frowning. "But I see that is not needed here. I don't touch children. Sorry son." The demon admitted. Robert relaxed, relieved.

"The Angels were also summoned by the church of light, long ago to help defend a kingdom. An Angel named Reynard had a love affair with a human and upon his return to heaven he completed a sex ritual with her and a nephilim was conceived.
When that child reached adulthood and was forcefully bred to extinction, the Church of Light lost the favor of the angels they thought weren't watching." He spat.
"Fortunately for the angels their childrens only defining feature were their teal eyes. Their children more easily adapted to this world, even breeding with the humans.
Unfortunately, all of the demonkin being born through the sex rituals could only breed with eachother. The elves and dwarves are ours too, the elves coming out quite successful might I add. Just less frequently, and they were less familiar looking to us than our demonkin" He said as he eyed up Mary.
"Excuse me dear, what happened to your ears?" He asked the elfwoman. They all jumped back as he stood, exited the circle and began walking toward the elf. They all had assumed he couldn't leave the circle. "They never leave the circle in the movies!" Mellie thought as the pinkish red man approached Mary touching her ears. "They clipped them" she said hotly with anger in her eyes. "Hush now child." He said making her moan as the points grew back. He released her, further explaining, wrapping his robe, all business except the length of his robe.
As he returned back into his chair, he admitted, "Our incubus and succubus population often frequented this portal network for a reasonable fee to enjoy carnal pleasures or visit their children after their pleasures." he said at first happily, slowly frowning taking in the ruins of a room they were in.
He continued, "Manablood children can only be conceived from a demon, an angel, and a human. The trifecta of the Gods original creations. These children can create a new wonders, with the mana in their blood. Most of these children become monsters. Some become dragons, some sea monsters. You, my dear are an anomoly." He stared at her.
"Your ancestor, to make this possible, the impossibility that you are, must have tried a sex magic ritual between what she thought was a Demonlover mage and a demonkin, hoping for a child. The woman was instead a Mageborn, one of the remaining descendants of nephilim." He explained.
"That child upon adulthood in this world, would have become a monster if its magic wasn't sealed. The seal would nned to be performed on their children and childrens children and on until they could grasp their power without destroying the world or themselves.
The hundreds of years being absent from mana and breeding with humans diluted your blood enough for you to keep your sanity as well your strong magical blood ties." He explained.
"Like I said. Anomoly." He concluded.
They were stunned. Elves and dwarves were demon children? No wonder there were so few of them. This wasn't known in this world. And Mellie was more rare than a dragon.
"So now what?" Mellie asked the Incubus. He quirked his brow at her, smiling. He really would be cute if he didnt look like he needed skin cream.
"Now reunite our people and reopen my portals someplace less drab." He responded, disgusted. "Find humans who want magic and beautiful incubus and succubi to lay with. My brothel is always willing for someone who's.... ready" he eyed the ladies curvy figures suggestively, smiling. "Else I close the portals to Alanor. Do not forget who's needed here." He smiled and vanished, chair and all. In his place dropped a spell tome with a thunk.
