Side-Story: Glen The gullible Wizard
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glengain remembered the fairy tales from his childhood. Stories of the ancient dragons that spoke and were capable of using elemental magic. These dragons were different then the dragons that now roamed the lands.
So growing up Glengain strove to learn everything he could about dragons.
After years of hard work he became a wizard.
Most wizards would teach magic to earn enough money to build their research towers away from unneeded attention.
Glen chose instead to travel and try to find any information about these ancient dragons.
But how could he travel and make money to support himself glen thought.
Then glen had a marvelous idea of becoming an adventurer.
He dreamed of finding a dungeon that had ancient relics of lost times.
So he became an adventurer for ten years.
One day while dungeon crawling his party and him found a treasure chest. The treasure chest sadly had no real treasure. The only thing worth anything was an old book that had a missing cover
Glengain picked the book and decided to read it.
The book was a godsend to glen.
The book spoke of an ancient race known as the Draconians that were descended from the ancient dragons .They looked like humans but they were all capable of high levels of magic. The elite soldiers of the Draconians were The Dragon-Knights.
The Draconians revered the dragons as gods. However a lot of the dragons terrorized human settlements. Most ancient dragons were said to be fairly lazy. Their dragon children however were creatures of lesser intelligence. These feral dragons wreaked havoc on humans for years until the first dragon slayer appeared.
An army of humans rallied together to try and defeat one of these feral dragons. They succeeded at the cost of many. From the army of ten thousand only one man rose.

This man was bathed in the dragon’s blood. He was on the brink of death. He could not see as he was entangled with the dragon’s corpse. He was thirsty as he felt a drop of liquid on his lips. He licked it. Although it had a metallic taste it was strangely satisfying. The more he drank the better he felt. Then he felt a pain so great that he could not scream. His entire being was being destroyed. Eventually after hours of pain he fainted.
When he next woke up he was a new being. He was the first of the Dragon Slayers, warriors who could kill dragons and were on par with the elite dragon Knights.
The Draconians were furious at the humans. How dare they kill the divine dragons they thought. The Draconians waged war against the insolent humans.
The ancient dragons did not care about this conflict.
On one of these battlefields a young dragon knight and his group of dragon knights faced off against the dragon slayers.
The young knight was talented but this was first battle. He had been told that these wretched creatures dared defy the great dragons.
The young knight faced off against a thin dragon slayer that was wearing a great helm. The great helm hid the thin slayers face.
Rather than use fire magic to take care of his opponent the young knight wanted an honorable duel. So with both warriors swords enveloped in flame they dueled. Both warriors were equally skilled. They traded blows for minutes.
Eventually it was just the two of them left on this battlefield. The young Dragon-Knight gained an upper hand and used his most powerful strike but at the last minute the dragon slayer pulled away. The strike was enough to shatter the dragon slayers helm.
Underneath that helm was a beautiful woman. The young dragon Knight never thought a human could be this beautiful he stopped and dropped his sword and went on his knees. Just as he was going to proclaim his love for this woman who he had fell in love with at first sight she knocked him out.

When he next awoke she was there, he proclaimed his love for her and asked why a beautiful maiden such as herself fought.
She showed the young dragon knight the devastation of human villages.
The young knight after seeing the destruction dragons caused then deserted and lived with this woman. In time he grew to love the village, the village he called home.
This young Dragon-Knight and the Dragon-Slayer had a child. This child was born with bright gray eyes. Yet the child had none of the power that his parents displayed which was odd.
When a dragon slayer had a child the child would display abnormal strength. This was also the case for dragon knights that were capable of using magical attacks.
The child had no such power of neither magic nor displayed superhuman abilities; nonetheless they still loved their child.
So they raised the child until one day a dragon attacked the village. Both parents took up their old weapons and promptly defeated the dragon but as the dragon fell from the sky its blood fell on the young boy.
The young boy drank this dragon’s blood. In order to attain such amazing physical abilities potential dragon slayers had to drink dragon’s blood however not all would be dragon slayers survived the ritual. Most would die in excruciating pain.
The young boy came down with a fever. Both his parents were worried but when the boy woke he found himself with his mother’s amazing physical abilities and his father’s talent for magic. So his parents trained him until the age of 14 when another dragon appeared but both the boy’s parents were not in the village at the moment.
The boy approached the dragon and rested his hand on top of the dragons head while he fed the dragon raw fish.
This boy then became the first Dragon rider.
Then the book stopped there.
Glen wanted to know what happened next. He wasn't sure if this book was just fiction or a legend based on truth. So glen looked for any ancient ruins pertaining to dragons. He bought any information no matter how small to find something about this legend. He even looked for people with bright gray eyes but he never found any.
Then a seedy looking man came up to him speaking to him that he had found some ancient ruins somewhere deep in the jungles.
Glen was so happy that he never thought that the man was lying.
So the unnamed man and Glengain hiked for days into the wilderness. When they decided to stop for the night glen was exhausted so he drifted off to sleep.
When morning came glen found that the camp was empty. His coin purse gone along with all the camping equipment,
Glengain was furious, He was tricked!
Glen was a mediocre adventurer at best luckily he had picked up a few things. Glen had a bag of gold coins tied around his inner thigh. Glen started walking
Glens was lost he had walked for a few hours when he came upon a stream and near that stream was a boy who was training with a wooden sword.
Glen was overjoyed for not only had he found help the boy had bright gray eyes

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
