《FATE TWO[sci-fi/fantasy LIT RPG]》CHAPTER 5: Eyes of god

Kanna woke up as he did every day still drowsy from having the same dream every day, he walked into the kitchen and saw his mother there. His mom was a petite woman not common where Kanna was from in the north of Canada. She stood at measly 5 foot 2, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
“Hi, my snookums, how was your sleep? '' she asked.
“Same old same old mom, had that weird dream as usual. You know that stupid doctors pills were supposed to help me, that and therapy were supposed to cure me mom” Kanna pleaded to his mom. He had a tired look in his eyes that dream always woke him up, something about that pressure that ‘god’ gave off really set him off even in his dreams.
“I'm sorry honey, I know you're tired but can you please shovel the driveway your dads gotta leave soon, and out of all of us you're the biggest”
Kanna begrudgingly agreed, whilst he was the tallest that only put him at 5 foot 6, dad was 5 foot 4, so both of his parents being short really meant Kanna lucked out in his height. Of course, none of that mattered when you live in Canada where everyone grows to be 6 foot 1 giants.
Kanna shoveled his driveway with relative ease.
“Wow Kanna iv never seen 1 and a half foot of snow shoveled so quickly, Maybe you should do mine next” His neighbor yelled while laughing.
Kanna already worked up a sweat so he decided he may as well continue, it's just the type of person Kanna was.
After finishing his morning of labor, Kanna took the bus and went to school.
While Kanna was at school he noticed something was slightly off, everyone was distancing themselves from him. Not in a, we dislike you sense more so in, perimeter sense. As in, people were staying about 30cm away from Kanna at all times. They acted perfectly normal but kept a fixed distance.
“Yo dude why are you standing so far from me, it feels weird,” Kanna asks his friend.
“Haha, I don't mean anything by it dude sorry” His friend giggles completely oblivious to why he did it.
“Okay, perfect then I'll just come to you,” Kanna says with a smile. Just as Kanna took his step forward, a frightening look fell on his friend's face as he backed up.
“I'm sorry man but you have this weird, almost aura to you. I can't describe just fix your vibe dude” his friend said and walked away.
Kanna was pissed and walked in the other direction, while mumbling to himself with his head down he stumbled into one of the large guys at his school. Whilst Kanna was a senior, he was always teased for his short stature, at least compared to the giants of his school.

“Watch where you're going” The tall teenager was annoyed and about to push Kanna, but when he was inside of Kanna’s perimeter he suddenly started to retract his hand. But, something inside of Kanna took over, his blue eyes had a slight grey tint to them, and Kanna grabbed the man's hand and flipped him using his own weight. Kanna looked down and froze, in a split second he recollected his thoughts, and before anyone noticed a change his eyes went back to blue, and he gave the kid a hand to help him up. The kid accepted Kanna and he did not sense any more malicious intent from Kanna.
“I'm sorry for doing that, hehe I guess just a rough day for me” Kanna awkwardly laughed, and after helping the kid up he walked away again.
All of Kanna's classmates looked at him with weary eyes. Kanna was not the type to do this, everyone knew he was pretty strong but it was widely accepted he was the gentle giant type.
The rest of his day continued normally, as usually Kanna would go to the gym after school. He did this every day to stay in shape, as he was getting onto a treadmill, he noticed it powering down.
“Ayy what's wrong with your treadmills?” Kanna yelled to the gym manager.
“What the hell are you saying kid, they've been working perfectly all day” The manager yelled back.
“Easy enough to say it's clearly not working right now, you dick” Kanna mumbled under his breath and kicked the treadmill. As he kicked the treadmill he felt a small zap.
Kanna decided to continue on to do free weights on an average day Kanna randomly hit multiple prs, Lifting what had previously been very challenging with ease. The only difference was his whole body felt generally stiff as if there was some change.
On his way home, Kanna attempted to call his mom but his phone also seemed to have died. Kanna noticed the death of another machine around him was accompanied by another zap from them; now Kanna was curious.
After Kanna got home he tried multiple things, first he tried the tv and as expected he was zapped as he touched it. But what he noticed was, he was just taking the power, not frying the device; so when he turned it back on it was able to start again. Kanna continued to mess around with things but he never noticed the light in his eyes turn more and more grey.
Kanna, remembering that his strength increased alongside his zap at the gym, decided to test something. What if I try and lift the big rock outside my house? Kanna thought to himself. Kannas' family just so happened to have decorated their yard with large rocks the year before to give it a rock garden look.

Kanna first bent down and struggled to attempt to lift the rock but as his eyes slowly got more grey, the rock lifted off of the ground. Kanna, surprised by everything that happened, dropped it, just as his parents were coming home from work.
“What the hell did you just do Kanna” His parents yelled
“What do you mean I'm just standing outside,” Kanna completely oblivious as to why they were yelling just attempted to be as nonchalant as possible.
“Kanna that's real cute but your whole foot is crushed under a rock right now,” His parents said with a worried, yet annoyed expression.
Kanna slowly looked down as his smile slowly retracted itself back into him and what was replaced was a face of horror follow-up.
“AHHHHH! What the hell oh shit I lost my foot, call 911” Kanna yelled.
As his parents were calling for an ambulance they whispered amongst themselves.
“That oblivious idiot didn't notice his foot was crushed to smithereens. Dang, I hope I'm wrong but from the look of it there's nothing there to save,” his mom whispered to his dad.
“I agree they probably won't be able to save it,” his dad said with a solemn look on his face. “Something does concern me a bit”
“What is it honey, don't worry I'm almost sure that this won't be a life-threatening injury,” his mom said louder so Kanna would hear.
“Not that, I know it wouldn't kill him. He's a tough kid but when we were pulling into the street I saw Kanna holding that rock like he lifted a rock we used cranes to place here”
“Don't be silly it probably just rolled onto his foot”
“Look me in the eye, I swear I saw him lift it, and the only reason he dropped it was because he was worried we would see it”. Kannas mom’s face grew wearier by the second with the knowledge that her child just lost his foot with a chance of it being permanent; to the fact that her husband saw him lift a boulder weighing at least 800 pounds, if not more.
Kanna, noticing his parents whispering among themselves, hoped that they didn't see him lift the rock. He thought they would question him if they saw him lift a rock that he thought weighed about 250 to 300 pounds.
As the ambulance arrived along with a crane, the rock was removed, and Kanna was placed into an ambulance to get transported to the hospital.
“Your lucky kid that rock didn't crush your whole foot, only the top half, but that's the part you don't need” The doctor attempted to make a joke.
“Good one doc, and for making me listen to that joke, I'll ask for the top half of your foot, you know the useless half, right?” Kanna joked back, keeping his hands on his stomach worried he might rob the ambulance of its power.
“Good one kid, you know I've never seen somebody your age be so calm in this type of situation. With this type of resilience well have you patched up in no time.” The doctor said while trying to reassure Kanna.
After Kanna was transported to the ICU, they patched his leg up. And While he was waiting in his designated room for a briefing of what happened while he was unconscious. The doctor that saw him in the ambulance came into his room.
“Hi, Kanna I know you're still probably drowsy. I'll skip the jokes for now. The bottom Kanna half of your foot was destroyed we attempted to salvage what we could but it was to no avail. So we did a clean stitch and you'll be in here for a couple of months between physical therapy and just healing. I'm sorry.”
After hearing what the doctor had to say to Kanna, he got ready for bed, the whole day had exhausted him. He leaned over to plug his phone in, but in the process, he touched the outlet.
Touching the outlet created a large white arc between his finger and the outlet, no matter how hard he attempted to pull away the arc stayed connected. Kanna assumed the arc would finish ‘transferring’ electricity after a couple of seconds, but it won't stop. After a few minutes, Kanna’s eyelids began to grow heavy. He heard one last thing before he passed out

*****
When Kanna opened his eyes he saw thousands of identical people to the ones in his dreams, the ‘peasants’ all with identical slicked back hair and grey eyes. All exuding a cold-blooded ruthless intent from their core. The difference was unlike in his previous dreams he was looking down on thousands. ‘His’ head turned to the side and he saw the peasant that's always in his repeated dreams. He could tell the difference now from their appearance but from their soul. Kanna was able to read the wavelength of each and every one of their souls, and besides him and the peasant to his side, the army of peasants all had the same wavelength.
It didn't take Kanna long to realize he was seeing the world from God's perspective, or rather in this vision he was a God.

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
