《Life of the dark god》Chapter 10 First successful Quest

As we entered the house, the human girl sprinted to a room at the end of the floor and opened its door while shouting.
“Papa, papa I got help with me!”(Little girl)
“Millie calm down.”(Man)
When I entered the same room I saw a young man lying in bed. He didn’t look that healthy.
“Are you the one to help us? I am sorry young boy if I am not polite it is just that you don’t look like an adventurer to me because of your age. I am George by the way. And as you already know this 9 year old girl here is my daughter Millie.”(George)
Seriously she was nine years old? She was older than me even though it doesn’t look like it at all. I was had a feeling of defeat inside me. I put all thoughts away and answered him properly.
“Nice to meet you. I go by the name of Darkness. And I am an adventurer. At least since today.”(Me)
I smiled at him but he doesn’t look convinced. As Millie couldn’t calm down she started telling her father about everything that happened and how Kylie and I saved her, George believed me in the end and thanked me for what I have done for his daughter.
“I heard you are going to find the herb for the medicine to cure my disease?”(George)
“Yes but before I do can I ask you of 3 things?”(Me)
“Sure go ahead.”(George)
“First if I succeed in helping you cure your disease can you teach me the art of blacksmithing?”(Me)
Before he could answer I cut him short.
“Second I would like to scan your body with mana, so I would know the condition of your body.”(Me)
“I agree to both because. What would be the third thing you want from me young man.”(George)
I looked at him because now I needed to get to the serious part.
“Could you please lend me 10 Silver coins so I could buy the medicine book from the adventurer guild?”(Me)
“The reason?”(George)
I looked at him with a serious face (no emotions) and said.

“Good investment.”(Me)
I looked like an idiot. George needed some time to comprehend what I answered him but he started laughing afterwards. He was ok with me “borrowing” the money but I had to pay him back.
“By the way you should be careful from now on.”(Me)
I warned him because he looked like a really nice guy. I mean he borrowed me money for a book. He has to be a nice guy. But my personality didn’t allow me to trust anyone so I let it be with just warning him.
Afterwards I went back to Merrill town to meet up with Kylie. I was really happy that I now had my adventurer card because I didn’t have to pay the fee anymore.
When I entered through the gate I could see Kylie leaning against a wall of a house clearly waiting for me. In her hands paper and a pen. When she saw me she smiled and ran to my direction.
“I’ve waited really long for you, you know.”(Kylie)
“I’m sorry. So how was it? Some Coins left?”(Me)
“No. I used everything. 4 Silver on paper and this pen and the other 50 Copper coins for my dinner.”(Kylie)
She looked at me like some innocent child and asked.
“What are we gonna do now?”(Kylie)
“I got my hands on 10 Silver Coins. With the rest of the things we hunted earlier that day I will buy the guide for medicine from the adventurer guild and I will look how to produce the cure for Millie’s father myself.”(Me)
She looked really happy when I said that. I couldn’t comprehend why she would be so happy that she could help someone else but as long as I get what I want I am okay with it.
We slandered through the town and stopped by at the adventurer guild. This time we went to the board and took the Quest for the herb of the medicine. After that Kylie went to the Rabbit-woman and sold the leather as well as other products we got in the morning. When she finished she bought me my guide for medicine.

“All in all we would have 20 Silver Coins now. But 1 guide from the guild cost 12 Silver Coins. So now we are back at 8 Silver Coins.”(Kylie)
I now had my hands on a new book.
“You can have the remaining Silver coins from now. Please start with what I instructed you before and write down everything you know about magic. Do with the money what you want but leave something for later if we need it.”(Me)
Kylie nodded. We sat down at a nearby inn. She started writing while I started reading the guide. I began with the medicine George needed. It wasn’t a hard to produce medicine but the problem was 1 single herb you would need for it. Everything else were normal things you would get everywhere.
The special herb needed for the medicine had to be a 100 year old greenbey herb. This is also a normal herb you would get everywhere but the problem was that there are only a small number of them which would survive for 100 years.
When I finished reading the description I had a really good idea. At the same time I started laughing. It was not really a nice laugh but at the same time not an evil one. I looked around and noticed that a lot of people were staring at me. Embarrassed I buried my head into my arms.
“Kylie let’s go outside of town for a few hours. I need to test something. But first let’s buy everything needed for the production of the medicine.”(Me)
“Sure but only if you promise me that you will never laugh like that in front of me ever again.”(Kylie)
“Ah, shut up. I’m sorry ok. Do you think I did that on purpose?”(Me)
She started giggling and afterwards we bought everything needed and left town.
When we reached a place where no one would interrupt I wanted to start with my experiment.
“I will warn you beforehand. Don’t tell anybody what you are going to see or about what I can do.”(Me)
Kylie just looked at me not knowing what I wanted. I activated my [Room: space-time]. I was really happy that it worked on the first try. If it didn’t I would have looked even more like an idiot.
Kylie didn’t understand what my magic did so I told her about it and what I am planning to do. When I finished explaining everything she looked at me like she would not believe me at all so I just let her be.
I then took out one greenbey herb. I held it in my hand and used time magic in order to alter its age and it worked. I could clearly feel that it got older. The problem was that as soon as it reached an age about 70 years old, it withered and died. The problem was not to make it older but to make it survive.
My solution for this was to create a space with a lot of nutrition. One herb would need a lot for its aging process so in the end I used up almost all of my mana to create such a space with creation and space magic. And I really succeeded in producing a 100 year old greenbey herb. After I finished Kylie looked like she had when she first saw me.
“Is something the matter?”(Me)
“No. It’s just… You know that you are probably the first person to use magic in such ways and that you are probably the first person to ever use time, space and creation magic together. Normally to only control one element is almost impossible but here is someone who can use all 3. I’m okay so how are you?”(Kylie)
Was it that impressive? Whatever. I broke my [Room: space-time] and mixed all herbs together to produce the medicine. How? I used water and earth magic to mix them and wind magic to hold the herbs and control their direction.
After I finished Kylie said to me.
“If I take everything into account what I know about you, you would probably be a danger level on par with the chaos dragon.”(Kylie)
I just smiled whirly and we went to give the medicine to George.
